Nasi Lemak is the National Dish of Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ and this is arguably One of the More Famous Ones in KL. ๐ค Because it was a Sunday that I planned to visit and since it opens at 6.30am, I was prepared for it and tried my best to reach here at 7.00am...and it was still practically Full-House even at such an Early Time!! ๐ณ

No Kidding. Just look at the Video I took at 7.00am on a Sunday Morning! ๐ฅ๐ณ If its already Almost Full-House like this at this Hour, I cannot even begin to imagine how Crazy the Crowds will be during their Later Peak Meal Hours! ๐ณ๐คฏ
If you want to visit, you'd better plan properly lest you get into a Horrific Queue. ๐ณ From a Friendly Fellow Customer that I chatted with, its not only Weekends, apparently this Place is Equally as Popular even on Weekdays! ๐ณ๐คฏ
Interior of the Eatery
As you enter the Entrance, you will see the Main Serving Area filled with Rows of Delicious Trays of Food. ๐ The Staffs are Polite, Friendly, Welcoming and mostly keep to themselves. The Actual Dining Area is further past this Entrance Area. Rather Large Area with 2 Sections, the Place was Comfortably Air-Conditioned. ❄️
Interestingly from what I understand from a Very Friendly Patron (whom I will feature later) this Place actually started back in 2004. ๐ค Even more Surprising, although the Decor and Renovation of this Place has a Classic Malay ้ฉฌๆฅ้ฃๅณ Flavour to it, the Actual Owner is Chinese. ๐ค

How to Order your Food:
1) Grab a Menu ๐ and Secure a Seat
2) When you are ready to order, just raise your hand to get the Attention from any of the Roving Staff to Order. ๐♂️ They can speak abit of English, but it would be better if you can at least use abit of Basic Malay. ๐
3) At the End of the Meal, pay at the Front Counter that's near the Entrance Area.
A Very Friendly Chat with a Fellow Customer while I was here. ๐
As I shared seat, I got into a Very Friendly Conversation with the Fellow Friendly Lady Customer by the name of Ms Long. ๐ It was Fortuitous that just nice she herself is from Klang which I had also planned to visit and I learned alot of things from her. ๐
She and a Partner owned a Bakery in Klang called Bread Berry Bakery Sdn Bhd. ๐๐ฅ Really Nice Lady, she gave me alot of Helpful Info about Klang, and even recommended a Truly Hidden Gem BKT that has never been featured by any SG-Based Food Bloggers / Influencers. ๐ณ It is really the type of Place that only Local Klangites will know. Of course I will also feature this Special Gem too! ๐
Anyway, it took 7 Mins for the Kopi-O-Kosong, ☕ and 10 Mins for the Nasi Lemak. ๐ Everything was served up within 10 Mins which was quite impressive considering the Place was Almost Full-House when I was there. ๐

☕ 50. Special Coffee O (Hot, No Sugar) = RM3.60
I don't know what's so "Special" about this, but this is a Solid Coffee to Start the Day. ☕๐
Robust and Gao Gao and doesn't have any Siap Siap Taste. ๐ Strong but also not those Fierce Smack you Awake Type. Solid Good Brew.
๐ 1. Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng = RM13.00
Of course they have Different Variations of Nasi Lemak, but Ayam Goreng is the Most Common Signature Dish that Most Customers will order. ๐๐ Beautifully Presented, the Whole Dish looked Appetizing already. ๐ Visually doesn't seem like there are any attempts to scrimp on anything. ๐

๐ถ️ Quality of the Sambal
I would describe this Sambal as... Juicy? ๐ถ️๐ฆ I don't know why but this was the Word that crossed my mind when I ate this. ๐
Juicy Bite Texture, it has a Deep Robust Earthy Flavour. Elevated Spiciness that can Bite and will linger on your Tongue. ๐ถ️ Its Sweet, but Not Overly Sweet. I find this a Very Good Quality Sambal especially for a Not so Sweet one. ๐
๐ Quality of the Rice.
Although it does smell as Fragrant as Malay-Styled ้ฉฌๆฅ้ฃๅณ, ๐ค I find the Level of that Unique Lemakness to be slightly lacking. ๐ฅฅ
Nevertheless, this is still a Very Good Level of Nasi Lemak Rice. ๐ Classic Jasmine Rice is used for this and Texture is Simultaneously Fluffy and also ็ฒ็ฒๅๆ. ๐ Amount of Rice also Very Acceptable for the Price, doesn't feel Stingy. ๐
๐๐ Quality of the Ayam Goreng
The Big Fat Chonker of a Drummy Thigh is something that Many Reviews rave about. ๐ It is indeed Big and Fat and is Very Visually Appetizing. ๐ The Best Thing about this is that it is Freshly Fried so it was Juicy and Tender, also Not Overly Salty. ๐ Not Overly Marinated and retains its Original Chicken Meat without it being Too Chickeny too. ๐ The Little Goreng Pieces were not Hard Crunchy to the Bite but more of a Soft Crisp that I like.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM3.60 (S$1.10) for the Special Coffee ☕ is Slightly Expensive but I still feel this is worth it because it is a Solid Robust Good Brew. ๐ If you want a Solid Good Coffee to start your day, you won't go wrong with this. ๐ I just don't know whats so "Special" about it though. ๐
At the Price of RM13.00 (S$4.00) I feel is a Very Reasonable and Actually Affordable Price for this Very Decent Plate of Nasi Lemak. ๐๐ For the Taste and Value of Food you are getting, this is a Very Reasonable Price to pay considering how Famous it is. And to add to it, you're dining in an Air-Conditioned Environment. ❄️
That said, I also need to set your Expectation. ๐ค This is a Very Decent Quality Nasi Lemak, but do not come here expecting it to Completely Blow your Mind. ๐คฏ๐ ♂️ It is Good yes, but I also feel it is not as Mind Blowingly Amazing like how its being Described in some of the Various Food Reviews online praising this place. ๐ค

And this is my Personal Opinion of this Place. I have absolutely no issues with the Taste, Value, Price, Service of the Place. ๐ Everything here works very well to provide me with a Delightful Dining Experience ๐ and I even got the chance to enjoy a Very Educational and Friendly Chat with a Fellow (Klangite) Customer who added alot to my Experience. ๐
If you have the chance to eat this without a long queue, fine go ahead, you will most likely enjoy yourself. ๐ Otherwise, I do not feel that is worth queueing HOURS for, especially from what I read from some of the Reviews of this Place. ๐ค

Remember, you will need to really plan properly if you want to visit this. ๐๐ค It was Practically Full House even at 7.00am on a Sunday Morning. ๐๐ณ Not only that, apparently even on Weekdays I understand may also be the Same Case so you really need to be prepared for this. Best of Luck! ๐
