Here is the Receipt of my Visit and Purchase.
As this is a Bakery, there are No Menu or Price Lists.
This is a Klang Bakery that started in 1977 and is Famous for their Pandan Layer Cakes. 🌱🍰 Considering Klang is much more Famous for BKT, it is quite Amazing to be Famous in something that is Non-BKT related here. 👍
Quite a Story behind this place too. Apparently it almost Closed Down back in 2016 🤔 but after News of its Impending Closure was reported in a News Outlet, there was such an Overwhelming Outpouring of Support and Love. ♥️ One Customer even specifically flew down from Kelantan to buy 6 Cakes. 😳 Subsequently, the Owner decided to keep the Business Open till this Day. Unbelievably Amazing. ♥️

The Bakery itself has a Very Old School Traditional 1980s Look. Even on a Wednesday Morning at 10.00am when I was there, there were noticeably alot of Customers with some of them walking away with Stacks of Boxes. 😳🍰 This Place is known from Selling Out Early and I'm not surprised this is true when I see how much Boxes their Customers buy. 😅

The Staffs are Friendly, Polite and Mostly Kept to themselves. While they have other Pastries and Confectionaries for Sale, the Main Signature of this Place are their Layer Cakes which are kept in their Refridgerators. 🍰❄️ These Layer Cakes are not sold by Slice, with their 250g Box being their Smallest. They are Pre-Cut for you, with the 250g Box having 8 Slices. 🍰
As I was paying for my Purchase, I was also nicely reminded that these Cakes cannot be kept long and need to be consumed quickly. 🍰 This is Very Good because this means there are Zero Preservatives used. 👍

🍰 Pandan 250g = RM15.00
Visually, 250g looks like a Chonky Boy. 😅 The First Thing I noticed are the Nice Layering and Striations on the Cake. 🍰 They also remind me of Sarawak Kuching's Kek Lapis. As I bite into a Piece, the Pandan Layer has this Very Bouncy Firmish Texture not unlike eating a Firm Jelly 菜眼 which totally surprised me. 🍮😳
This Pandan Layer Texture is not like those Cream Cream type. 🤔 Pandan Flavour is Light and Delicate and I reckon this is made using Real Pandan, 🌱 and not some Artificial Extract. I really love that its Not Overly Sweet. 😋 Its this more Firm Jelly 菜眼 Bite Texture that is the Signature of this Cake. 🤔 Outwardly it may Visually look like a Standard Cake, but the Taste of it is more Akin to a Malay-Styled Bouncy Kueh Kueh that also isn't really a Kueh Kueh. 🤔

🍰 Durian 250g = RM24.00
Other than their Main Pandan Signature, Durian is the other Flavours that is also Very Popular. 😄 Similar Size for 250g, its also made the Same Way with the Same type of Layering and Striations as their Pandan. Considerably More Expensive too at an Extra RM10.00. 💵🤔
I was immediately impressed when I bite into it. 😋 Its also the Firm Jelly 菜眼 Bite Texture just like their Pandan, but this time the Prominent Gao Gao Taste of Real Durian Meat takes over. ♥️ This Usage of Real Durian Fruit is the Reason why its Considerably More Expensive compared to their Pandan. 🤔 Again, this is Sweet but Not Overly So. Oh this is So Good! I actually enjoy this over their Pandan version. ♥️

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM15.00 (S$4.60) for their 250g Signature Pandan Layer Cake is worth the Price. 👍 Really Big Chonky Boy and this was Delicious. 😋
What really surprised me is the Firmish Jelly 菜眼 Bite Texture which I thought had a Unique Malay-Kueh Kueh type of Bite Feel even though Outwardly it looks like a Conventional Cake. 😋 I like that they used Real Pandan instead of some Extract and the Sweetness is Not Overly Sweet. 🌱😋
At the Price of RM24.00 (S$7.30) for their Durian Layer Cake is Much More Expensive compared to their Pandan, but I actually like this more because they used Real Durian Meat to make this. ♥️
And it even tasted like they used a quite a Significant Amount of Durian Meat too 😅 because the Taste is Unmistakeably Gao Gao. Eating this really feels like eating Actual Durian but in a Cake Form. 🍰 Again, Sweet but not Overly Sweet. Shiok. ♥️
Overall I'm impressed with the Quality of the Cakes. 🍰👍 They remind me of Sarawak's Kek Lapis, but have the Texture of Firm Jelly Like 菜眼 Bite Texture. 🍮 Tasted Fresh and Refreshing actually. 😋
Of the 2 Flavours, I prefer their Durian Version more despite the Higher Price because the Durian Meat tasted Gao Gao and they definitely used Real Fruit and not some Extract. 😋 Because I myself enjoy Durian, this was Love at First Bite. ♥️ Definitely worth to give this a try if you are in Klang. 👍
