After visiting the Majestic Batu Caves, ♥️ I just felt like soaking in the Atmosphere and was in the Mood for some Indian Cuisine. ๐ฎ๐ณ This was a Restoran located relatively nearby within a Short Walk so I figured why not. ๐ถ♂️ Relatively Large Place, there were not much Customers as of 8.00am on a Tuesday Morning. ๐ The Staffs are Friendly and Polite and mostly kept to themselves.
The Signature Dish of this Place is actually their Bamboo Rice ๐ however that is only available for Lunch so I randomly just ordered something else from their Menu. ๐ค It took 3 Mins for the Coffee and 5 Mins for the Thosai. Everything was served up within 5 Mins.

☕ Kumbakonam Coffee (Hot, No Sugar) = RM4.50
Hahaha I'll admit, I chose this simply because the Name sounded Exotic. ๐ Served in a Modern Cup, it looks Very Normal with a Frothy Top and a Milky Coffee Aroma. ☕ Tastes like a Regular Normal Milk Coffee. ๐ Although it isn't those Super Gao Gao Strong type, can still wake you up. But overall, Nothing Particularly Special about this. ๐ค

๐ Veetu Thosai = RM2.50
There are Many Variations of Thosai as you can see on the Menu ๐ and this was another Random One I chose. Wow this thing was Huge! ๐ณ According to them, this is considered their Small already. ๐ It has a Somewhat Yeasty Aroma of some type of Grain that I'm unfamiliar with. ๐พ๐ค The Bite Texture is similar to a Western-Styled Pancake ๐ฅ but with a Unique Noticeable Slight Sourish Note compared to other Thosais I've eaten in the Past. To be fair, I'm not Familiar with Thosai since I don't eat alot of them, I neither like nor dislike this. ๐ค

There are 3 Condiments/Gravy and I'll describe each one of them.
๐ฒ Dhall
Served at Room Temp, this has a Watery Texture. I do like the Gao Gao taste that isn't Dilluted. ๐ There is a Slight Lingering Spiciness that doesn't bite. ๐ถ️ If you have eaten Dhall before and is ok with it, you will likely have no issues with this too.
๐ฅฅ Coconut Chutney
This is something I've heard of but not tasted before. ๐ค White in Colour, it has a Pureed sort of Texture to it with a Noticeable Texture of Coconut Flakes. ๐ฅฅ What threw me off abit is this Lingering Taste of Milky ๅฅถๅณ ๐ฅ on my 1st Taste which felt Unusual at first but I quickly got used to it. ๐ There is a Slight Spiciness to it. ๐ถ️ Interesting Taste.
๐ถ️ Spicy Chutney
Now this one is Elevated Spicy ๐ถ️ with also a Slight Sourish Note and a Pureed Texture. I actually like this. ๐ It has this Fiery Spiciness to it ๐ถ️ and because of the Sourish Note, has a Very ๅผๅณ Appetizing sort of Taste that will really Open up your Appetite to eat more. ๐ This is Not Bad.
Mixing all 3 Condiments with the Thosai gives a Complex Taste. ๐ค Abit of Spicy Sourish and Abit of Coconuty Creaminess all rolled together nicely. ๐ This is Not Bad.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM4.50 (S$1.40) I don't feel is worth the price for this Cup of Coffee. ☕๐ค There is nothing special about it as it looks, smells and tastes just like a Regular Milky Coffee. ๐ Skip this.
At the Price of RM2.50 (S$0.80), this Thosai was amusingly more affordable than their Coffee. ๐ For what it is, this felt Affordable. I especially liked the 3 Condiments given which gave this Thosai a Decent Taste. ๐ If you are looking for a Thosai, I can recommend to give this a try.

Overall, I have not much issues with this place. Its an Average Decent Acceptable Eatery with Decent Customer Service and the Prices felt reasonable. ๐ The only thing that was disappointing was that Coffee ☕ which was nothing really special. ๐ Other than that I have no further issues.
Don't let my Average Score deter you from this Place. If you are looking for a Decent Indian Eatery ๐ฎ๐ณ after your visit to the Batu Caves, I can still recommend this nearby place for a Decent Meal. ๐
