When people talk about Famous Eateries in Kulai, this Place will definitely come up heavily featured in Many Food Blogs.
For one thing, the Name itself is Super Amusing because "Wak Kentut" means "Uncle Fart" in Malay. No Idea why such an Adorable Name, but there ya go.

The Actual Location is a Relatively Large Non-Airconditioned Warung Eatery.
The Staffs were Polite and Reserved, but they don't smile. Not the Friendly type of Polite.

How to Order your Food:

1) The Place itself adopts a Somewhat Caifan style of Concept. Go to the Left Section and Choose what you want.
I thought it was interesting that Customers can get to choose the Size and Cut of the Ayam Goreng they prefer.

2) Once you've made your Selection, go to the Cashier counter and Pay before you eat.

Quality of the Sambal

I like the Amount of Sambal given and also how Warm it tasted. Its a Typical Sweet Sweet type of Sambal for Nasi Lemak, but I thought was Not until like Very Super Sweet. I also noticed a Slight Undercurrent of Sourness followed by a Nice Ikan Bilis and Cuttlefish Mix of Flavours.

Smooth in Texture, I also noticed the Prominent Presence of Onion in this. Its a Tad Spicy but never bites. More like a Gentle Kiss on your Tongue. This is a Culinarily Pretty Good Quality Sambal made with Effort. Malay Sambals seldom disappoints and this one was alright.

Quality of the Rice

Despite being a Malay-Styled Nasi Lemak, I'm surprised that the Rice isn't the Very Gao Gao Very Lemak Lemak 马来风味 type of taste. The White Rice Taste seems to be more Prominent in this and in fact the Lemakness felt so Mild, it felt more like an Aftertaste than anything. Rice Texture is towards the Stickier Side.

This is the First Time that I'm tasting a Malay-Styled Nasi Lemak Rice that is so Light in the Lemakness. This barely passes even for a Chinese-Styled Nasi Lemak Rice tbh. Hmmm ... 怎么感觉有一点偷工减料.

Quality of the Ayam Goreng

While I'm glad that Customers have the Choice of what Size or Cuts for this, I'm Very Disappointed that it isn't Freshly Fried despite me visiting this Eatery less than an Hour when they open at 3.40pm.

Not impressed with this Drummy at all because it tasted Cold like its been sitting around for awhile already.
I didn't even bother to finish the one piece that I had.
Ughhhh what a Waste of Calories.
From what I read from some Google Map Reviewers, they have also experienced such Cold Chicken being served.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM9.00 (S$2.90) for this Plate of Nasi Lemak is Affordable for what it is considering there is an Ayam Goreng Drummy within but I am not impressed with it. The Basic Plate doesn't even come with Ikan Bilis/Peanuts that is the Most Basic Item for a Nasi Lemak.

This is a Nasi Lemak that has a Decent Quality Sambal, with a Very Not at all Lemak Lemak type of Rice and a Non-Freshly Fried Cold Tasting Fried Chicken Drummy. Acceptable and Affordable Nasi Lemak, but not as Amazing as how Famous its supposed to be. First time tasting a Malay Nasi Lemak Rice that is Less Lemak than even a Chinese Styled Nasi Lemak.

Customer Service also wasn't anything to shout about. The Staffs weren't rude, but they also weren't exactly very Friendly or Welcoming either. Nothing here compels me to want to come back again. From some of the Local Grab Drivers that I've discussed with, almost all of them also agree that this Place used to be Famous, but now is like So So Lah. More Touristy than anything.

If you would like to give this a try, sure go ahead. But do keep your Expectations in Check as I feel this place isn't as Amazing or Mind-Blowing as how its being described in the Various Food Blogs out there written for this Place. Personally, I would much rather recommend Nasi Gulai Isteri over this Place if you're looking to enjoy some Tasty Malay Food. At least the Ayam Goreng there was Piping Hot and Freshly Fried.

Super Adorable Name for an Eatery though.
