As I was Exploring, I came across this Eatery that seems quite Popular in Google Maps.
Super Adorable Name especially its being translated to "老婆的咖喱米饭" in Chinese.

As I checked with my Friend Lee Nah, so "Isteri" means "Wife" and the Name of the Eatery can also mean "A Taste of Home". Hahaha but I thought them translating it to "老婆的咖喱米饭" (Wife's Curry Rice) was just So Adorable! I reckon the Owner of this Eatery either Sayang his Wife very much, or Very Scared of his Wife very much. 😅 Because of course 只有老婆的咖喱米饭才是最香最好吃 tio boh? 😅 (Only Wife's Curry Rice is Most Sedap) When Wife is Happy, Life is Happy. 😄

The Actual Eatery has both an Aircon and Non-Airconditioned Dining Areas. The Non-Airconditioned Section is also where the Food is being Prepared. The Airconditioned Side was Cool and Comfortable. There was a Constant Delicious Appetizing Aroma of Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken). 

Pretty Popular as you can see even on a Weekday Tuesday at around 11.50am. The Main Cashier Lady at the Front is Very Friendly and Welcoming while the Rest of the Staffs are Polite and Reserved. Pretty Good Business too as I've observed, I also noticed alot of People Dabao Takeaways. Anyway it took about 10 Mins for the Dish to be served up.

Decently Presented, the Dish itself is an Ayam Goreng with Rice and Curry.

Quality of the Sambal

Wow this is Fire! There is an Initial Firey and Intense Sourness that hits you Hard and Fast.

This is followed by a Sudden Intense Heat that is intensified by Large Pieces of Cut Chilli Pieces....And then all of a Sudden this Initial Intense Spiciness disappears and lingers on my Tongue with a Gentle Heat. Impressive. Tasted like a Very Indonesian Style of Sambal.

Quality of the Curry

Rich and Thick, this has a Noticeable Presence of Lemongrass with a Coconuty Creamy Lemak Lemak Taste.

This Curry tastes like a Malay-Styled Curry Chicken Dish that I've eaten before but don't know the name of. Decent Tasting Lemak Lemak style of Curry.



Quality of the Rice

Nothing Special about this, its just Standard Nasi Putih White Rice made with Standard Jasmine Rice.
Abit Clumpy in Texture, this was a Decent Carb Canvas to Lum the Curry with.

Quality of the Ayam Goreng

Oh this was a Big Fat Drummy + Thigh Combo. Because its Freshly Fried, biting into it immediately 爆汁 So Juicy and Sinfully Oily 满满油香味. Nice Soft Crisp Skin with a Tender Meaty Bite, it was really nice to Munch this with the Curry Rice or Lum with the Curry.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM13.00 (S$4.20) was a Reasonable Price for this Plate of Big Fat Ayam Goreng with Rice and Curry. While the Curry wasn't anything Amazing, its that Fiery Sambal that got my Attention. Very Unique Sambal that initially hits Hard and Fast, and suddenly retreats into a Gentle Heat. Malay Folks really are Masters of Sambal.

I liked the Freshly Fried Juicy Ayam Goreng and eating everything together with Rice, Curry and that Unique Fiery Sambal was Delicious and Filling.

Also no issues with Customer Service, the Front Counter Staff was Friendly and Welcoming and it was a Comfortable Cooling Dining Experience in an Air-Conditioned Dining Space away from the Heat of the Day. 

If you are nearby the area craving for some Rice and Curry, I can recommend this place to give it a try.
