This was a Nostalgic Dessert Stall in KSL City Mall Food Court that I first visited back in 2023 when I first explored KSL. It was also one of the First Food Reviews I ever posted back in my Former FB Group. I'm glad to see that it is still around in 2026 despite the Many Food Stall Closures over the Years.

Nothing Particularly Special about this, its just a Typical Dessert Stall.
What I really liked was their Ice-Kacang actually because of its Affordability at RM6.00 (Below S$2.00) back in 2023. Hahaha this made it a Easy "Impulse Buy" for me if my Mouth Itchy want to eat something Affordable and Sweet.

The Ice-Kacang itself is nothing special really. Its just a Regular Ice-Kacang.

For Foreign Readers who don't know what an "Ice-Kacang" is, the "Kacang" in the Name means Nuts or Beans. Its just a Simple Sweet Shaved Ice Dessert that contains Cincau Jelly, Red Beans within and drizzled with Different Types of Sugary Syrups, topped with Cream Corn and some Peanut Shavings.

The thing that distinguishes this from other Ice-Kacangs is that they add an Extra Scoop of Ice-Cream on top. The Ice-Cream isn't anything Artisanal or Homemade, just a Regular Scoop from a Supermarket Tub (I think they use Magnolia Ice-Cream?). The Flavour of Ice-Cream is Random. Sometimes you get Vanilla, sometimes its Chocolate Chips, and sometimes its just Plain Chocolate.

Its this Ice-Cream they add that felt worth to eat overall at Below S$2.00. I appreciate them adding a Straw to allow you drink the Melted Ice-Kacang as when the (Chocolate) Ice-Cream Melts, it will taste like a Chocolate Milk at the End.

Like I said, Nothing Particularly Special or Amazing tbh.
This was my Go-To Affordable Simple Indulgence when I stayed at the KSL Hotel Resort and coming down for a After-Swim Sweet Treat.

Really it was the Affordable Price that made me like this Particular Dessert Stall. Back in 2023, the Ice-Kacang cost RM6.00 (Below S$2.00) and it has since risen to RM8.00 (S$2.70) now in 2026.

Affordable and a Pretty Easy No-Brainer Impulse Purchase at Below S$2.00 in 2023, but not such an Impulse Buy anymore at S$2.70 for a Simple Sweet Indulgence now in 2026.

The recent rise of the Malaysian Ringgit also certainly doesn't help when it comes to Exchange Rates nowadays.

Price Comparison with Mixue

With this Ice Kacang at its Current 2026 Price of RM8.00, I can actually choose to instead buy 4 x RM2.00 worth of Mixue Ice-Cream Cones. Hahaha 吃 Ice-Cream 吃到吐. (2026 Price Menu taken from Mixue Malaysia Website)

Yes, 2026 Mixue Cone has surprisingly not increased price from its Original RM2.00 Price back in 2023 when I reviewed them:
Mixue (Taman Mount Austin)

So why would I buy 1 Ice-Kacang at RM8.00 from here when I can buy 4 Mixue Cones at the Same Price? Heck every one of Mixue's Sundaes here (2026 Price) are cheaper than this RM8.00 Ice-Kacang as you can see.

Answer:
KSL City Mall interestingly doesn't have a Mixue (Yet) but you get what I'm trying to say hahaha.

With how the Price has risen and also given my Current Diabetic Condition, I reckon this is probably the Last Time I'll be eating this Ice-Kacang. It is what it is.
