This was a Very Big Eatery thats located in a Relatively Out of the Way Obscure Corner of KSL City Mall away from the Main Human Traffic. Renovated in a somewhat 中国风 Furnishings, it was pretty empty at 10.30am when I was there. 🤔 Although the Male Staff manning the Counter wasn't Unfriendly, he had a Permanent Stoic Looking Face and I have never ever seen him smile. 🤔 Didn't exactly felt Very Welcoming when I stepped into the place.

Ordering of Food is thru a Paper Menu using Pen and Pencil 📝 and he seemed Very Surprised that I only ordered their BKT alone with No DLCs. Not exactly a 死人脸 but his Surprised Look is very typical of BKT Eateries like these that expect Customers to order Plenty of DLCs in order to make the Base Dish taste good. 😅 It surprisingly took 10 Mins for the Dish to be served up even though there was only Me and 1 other Customer there.
The Default Condiment they have here is a Earthy Sweet Tasting Sauce 🍯 with lots of Minced Garlic 🧄 and abit of Spicy Heat from Chilli Padi Slices. 🌶️
Pretty Standard Condiment for a BKT Eatery actually.
A01 肉骨茶 (汤) Bak Kut Teh (Soup) = RM16.00
I am Unimpressed with the Very Plain and Spartan Presentation. 🤔 There are only 4 Pieces of Ribs, 🍖 about 1 Spoonful of Button Mushroom Slices 🍄 and some Spring Onion Slices for Garnishings. 🤔

Soup Broth is definitely not Klang Style. But thankfully also not a Simple Soy Sauce Base. It is Herbal with a Mild Herbal Sweetness. 🌿 I wouldn't say the Herbal is Light, but its also Not the Gao Gao tasting type. Not Overly Salty, Not Peppery Spicy with a Standard 苦甜苦甜 sort of taste. 🤔 Acceptable but Nothing Really Special. Not a Trash Soup in any way, as it does warm up the Throat.

The Ribs are 4 Pieces which is probably cut from just 1 Rib. 🍖 I liked that the Meat is Deeply Soaked in the Broth and they are Tender to the Bite and do slide off easily off the Bone. 🍖 I also liked some Cuts which were a Tad Fattier although some people may not like these. Not Overly Porky. Meaty Parts were Meaty Juicy and Not Dry. Buttom Mushroom Slices were Nothing Special and I felt they didn't contribute anything much to the Dish. 🍄🤔

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At RM16.00 (S$4.90) for a Very Plain 1 Rib BKT I feel is not worth the money. 🤔 The Dish just didn't felt like its worth the price for me. Again I must emphasize, this is Not Trash BKT, but it just doesn't feel like its worth my time.
Compared to a SG Hawker Centre BKT at S$5.50, it may be slightly more Expensive but at S$0.60 more, I do get 2 Ribs instead of just 1 Rib cut into 4 Pieces here although to be fair it is a Different Style of BKT Preparation. But still, is it really worth the Effort and Trouble to cross the Causeway just to eat this BKT? 🤔
Overall Acceptable, but Not at a Dedicated BKT Eatery Level. 🤔

Although the Service Quality wasn't anything Bad, I felt the Counter Staff could be Friendlier. As a Front Customer Facing Staff, it would be nice if he at least makes an effort to Smile at Customers instead of having a Stoic Serious Face all the Time that doesn't feel Very Welcoming. 🤔
Overall Nothing Particularly Wrong about this Place, but then again, Nothing Particularly Memorable for me either. 🤔 This is a Very Average Acceptable but Unremarkable BKT that I feel is kindda Overpriced due to its Mall Overheads. And I think this is the Main Issue for this Place. If this Eatery is not in a Mall incurring all these Overheads, I feel they can lower the price significantly which would be More Attractive for Customers. 🤔 Have you eaten from this Eatery here in KSL City Mall? I would love to know how you think of them!
