JB Trip Preview: Taman Johor Jaya

Hey Everyone, Surprise! 😄

So today I just felt like going JB to jalan jalan and since Chinese New Year is just right around the Corner, I thought I'd visit Taman Johor Jaya.

Not a New Place as I've visited this before, the Main Reason I'm here is because of a Famous CNY Market 年货城 in this Area. Apparently this is considered as the Largest 年货市场 in JB I think? 🤔

 
I've long heard of this place but never visited so I figured I might as well take some time to explore and report about it! 😄 Also to shunbian re-visit Johor Jaya lah since its also been quite awhile since my last visit. I love this Neighbourhood, there are Plenty of Good Eats here. 😋

Yes, CNY Fireworks are Available for Sale, 🎇🎆 and No, you CANNOT bring them into Singapore so don't even try. 🚫🙅‍♂️ It was quite interesting to see these for sale though. Certainly a Unique Item that we can never find in our own SG 年货市场. 😅 As CNY is just round the Corner, I would be posting my findings about this place this Coming Monday 2-Feb so do keep a lookout for it! 👍

Here are some Highlights of Today's Trip:

Joyce Prawn Cracker & Dessert is a Unique Residential Food Place 住家料理 that sells Freshly Fried Prawn Crackers (Cucur Udang). 🦐😋 JB actually has alot of such eateries where people convert their own residential homes to be a Food Stall or Restoran. 🏠

Next up, Restoran Cia Siang was another Surprise Exotic Find because apparently they sell Shark Dishes here! 🦈😳 Quite a Unique Rare Dish that is not commonly found. This was a Quiet and Simple Homecooked Styled Tze Char sort of Place. 😋
