Located in Taman Johor Jaya, this is the Largest Annual Outdoor CNY Market 年货市场 in Malaysia Johor Bahru (JB). Consisting of about 85 Stalls in Total, its located right next to the Johor Jaya Family Food Court Hawker Centre and stretches along about 100m in Length.

Like all 年货市场, its not Air-Conditioned of course, and is sheltered by a Huge Tentage.
That said I thought it wasn't too warm or humid and relatively Airy and Comfortable.

There are No Portable Restrooms available although you can go Next Door to the Johor Jaya Family Food Court Hawker Centre if you need.

When I was there at 11.12pm in the Afternoon it wasn't as crowded although not all stalls were open.
By 3.00pm, all Stalls were open although it definitely was Much More Crowded but it was still quite manageable never to the point of Jam until 水泄不通. There are Military Personnels in Uniform deployed to ensure Order and Safety although I don't see any Emergency First Aid Stations so do take care.

Of course it is certainly going to be Even More Crowded as Chinese New Year draws closer so I would recommend to visit this as early as you can to do your Shopping.

No Cars are allowed within although some Supplier Vehicles sometimes do ocassionally drive in to replenish stocks so do take extra care if you're bringing Kids along.

Because this is a CNY Market, it is Not a Pasar Malam and there are No Food Stalls available.
There are however some Stalls that sell Bottled Drinks and interestingly 椰花酒 Coconut Wine Toddy which was a Unexpected Surprise Find. I didn't buy it though, so I'm not sure about the Quality. The last time I drank this in JB was at Air Nira Toddy Shop in Jalan Wong Ah Fook Area in my Past Review.

The Longest Queue seems to be for a Bakkwa Stall called "阿兵哥" as you can see in the Photos. Neverending Queues when I was there. On this, please also take note that Bakkwa is NOT ALLOWED to be brought back into Singapore for Consumption. Source: SFA

🎆🧨Details about the Fireworks Stalls🧨🎆

Important Disclaimer:
It goes without saying that Fireworks or Firecrackers ARE NOT ALLOWED in Singapore, so please DO NOT attempt to bring them in. 🚫🙅🏻‍♀️ If you are a Singaporean, the only thing you can do is SEE and NO TOUCH. It is what it is.

Fireworks Stalls like these are of course the Most Unique Aspect of this 年货市场 and is something that we will NEVER EVER see in our own Singapore CNY Market 年货市场. If you are like me, have never seen an Actual Real-Life Firework Package before or how much it cost, here's your chance I guess. 😅

There seems to be 3 Major Ones that all seems to be licensed and owned by a "Sakura Hunters Fireworks Group" Its funny to see them marketed as 合法烟花 (Licensed Fireworks). I guess even Fireworks need to be Licensed in Malaysia?

The Fireworks Prices range from RM15.00 (S$4.90) for what I assume are Small Little Sparklers like "King Cat-types" to Huge Packages. The Most Expensive Ones cost up to RM688 (S$223.00). I'm assuming these are Actual Mini Fireworks that light up the Sky? I'm not sure about that.

It was Adorable to see the Most Expensive of them interestingly packaged like "Gundam Model Kits" and given Super Epic Garang Names like "创世之神" or "万世帝" but given more Milder-Sounding English Translated Names as "Happy Boom Assorted Celebration Cake Repeater". 😅

Surprised to not find More Traditional "Red Tubes" Types of Firecrackers for sale. 🧨🧨🧨I'm guessing even in Malaysia those are Not Allowed? Not sure about the Rule on this.

Fireworks Information Update:

😅 It is literally a Multiple Shots Firework. If you want to see how a RM688 (S$223.00) Firework Package probably looks like in Action, here you go! 🎆

Hahaha
can you imagine some Rich Mad Lad going all out and buy like 20 of these and Firing ALL of them together all at once? 😅 Machiam like starting World War 3 sia. 😅

It also makes me wonder if THIS is also the Actual Fireworks Package that the Singapore Government also uses when firing Fireworks in the Heartland Areas during New Year's Day Celebrations.
🤔

Below are some of the Prices of Other Items I've taken Photos of, for you to have an Approximate Idea of the Prices to see if its worth your time to visit.
