My First Experience of this Famous Eatery was their Original First KL Outlet at FUIYOH! It’s Uncle Roger (Pavilion Mall) where I liked it, but also found it Expensive and I had my Personal Opinions about it. 🤔
For this Outlet in Midvalley Mall, I find it decorated and renovated in the Same Colourful Bright Scheme but this Outlet feel Slightly Smaller in Size. 🤔 For one thing, there is No Dedicated "Cosplay Stage" compared to their KL Outlet. 😅 The Music they play here are also English Pop Songs from a Radio. 🎵🎶

Staffs are Polite, Friendly and Mostly Keep to Themselves and the Unique Thing they did here that their KL Outlet doesn't do, is that they actually Greet Customers with a Genki "Hello Uncle Roger!" 😅
That said, I observed that this Greeting isn't Consistent as sometimes they Greet, sometimes they don't. A Tad Inconsistent. 😅 Although No Queues on a Weekday, it was quite Popular and Filled with Customers as at 11.30pm. 👍 It took 10 Mins for the Fried Rice to be served up. A Tad Long considering that it wasn't Full House on a Weekday.

Uncle Roger Special Fry Rice (Spicy) = RM16.00
At KL, I ordered their Non-Spicy Version with Ala-Carte Sambal because I didn't know if they Mix the Sambal 🌶️ into the Fried Rice 🍚 which will cause me not to be able to review the Sambal on its own.
Not the Case actually. for the Spicy Version, they do not mix in the Sambal, but put a Small Dollop of it at the Side. Certainly Lesser Sambal than if you order a Ala-Carte Plate of it but I feel this Amount of Sambal given is Acceptable. 👍 Amount of Rice given also feels agar agar the Same here in JB when compared to their KL Outlet.

Quality of the Sambal
Other than the Lesser Amount of it given, I still love this. Elevated Spicy with Chilli Bits giving it a Tad Gritty Texture with a Light Presence of Haebee. 🌶️👍 Not Overly Salty or Sweet, this is still a Good Sambal that I feel is almost the Same as the Version served in KL. 👍
Quality of the Fried Rice
Again, this is the Fried until a Tad Darker Colour type of Fried Rice. 🍚 Compared to KL, I felt this JB version was Noticeably Oily and Salty. Rice Texture is 粒粒分明, Not Mushy.

2 Things that were Noticeably Missing
1) In their KL Outlet, they added some Crispy Bits which gave the Fried Rice an Occasional Crispy Crunch. 🤔 This Crispy Ingredient is Missing from this Plate here in their JB Outlet. 🤔
2) The Next Missing Item were Egg Pieces within the Fried Rice itself. 🍳 This is quite Significant because while they still provide a Sunny Side Egg, it no longer qualifies as a True Egg Fried Rice 蛋炒饭. 🤔
Both of these Missing Items are actually quite important in distinguishing their Fried Rice from other Fried Rice out there. 🤔 Especially the Missing Crispy Bits, without that Crispy Texture, this Dish becomes abit One Dimensional. Removing this Crispy Element makes this taste almost No Different from a Regular Fried Rice and reeks of 偷工減料 Cost-Cutting. 🤔

I also find the Chef in this JB Outlet to be on the More 重口味 compared to the Chef at their KL Outlet. 🤔 The Version of Fried Rice here tasted Noticeably Oily and Salty as I mentioned. The Dish tasted Nice at the 1st Few Bites but as the Meal went on, the Combined Elevated Oiliness and Saltiness made it More and More Jelak to the point I had to stop and couldn't finish the Meal even though I was actually Hungry that time. 😅
------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM16.00 (S$4.90) this is priced the Same as their KL Outlet. 💵 Once again, as I mentioned in the Previous Review for their KL Outlet, if you are a Singaporean, treat this as an Average Fried Rice at SG Price and if you are a Malaysian, don't bother because I'm sure there are Better Fried Rice at a Much More Affordable Reasonable Pricing. 🤔

The Main Difference between KL and JB is the Noticeable Lack of both the Egg Pieces 🍳 within the Rice and Crispy Bits. Thus it no longer qualifies as a True Egg Fried Rice 蛋炒饭. Losing that Unique Crispiness also makes this taste like a Regular Fried Rice you can get elsewhere. The Removal of these 2 Items reeks of Obvious 偷工減料 Cost-Cutting. 🤔 These Missing Ingredients and the More 重口味 Noticeably More Jelak Taste of this Fried Rice in JB means I will have to drop the Score for this JB Outlet. 🤔
And so this is my Verdict of this Fried Rice for their JB Outlet. 🤔 The Differences are Significant enough to notice a Lower Quality here. 🤔 Uncle Roger, your KL Outlet gets a "Fuiyaa", but I'm afraid this JB Outlet can only get a "Haiyaa" from me. C'mon man, don't 偷工减料 until like this leh, Haiyaa! 😅
