JB Trip Preview: Danga Bay

Hey Everyone!
Shifting Focus from Yesterday's Visit to Taman Universiti, ๐ŸŽ“ Today's JB Trip brings me to a Familiar Quiet Neighbourhood I've not visited in quite awhile
: Danga Bay ๐Ÿ–️

Not my First Time, it really has been awhile since my last visit. Not a Particularly Well-Known Place for Many Singaporeans, ๐Ÿค”
what really attracts me here is the Beautiful Relaxing Beach in the Danga Bay Condominiums Area that is Open to the Public to Visit. ๐Ÿ–️ As you can see, its a Nice Relaxing Beachfront. ⛱️๐Ÿ˜Œ

Certainly a Nice Little Place to relax and chill on a Weekend away from any Crowds. ๐Ÿ˜Œ Another Quiet Peaceful Neighbourhood as I don't see much Singapore Cars around the Area. ๐Ÿš—

Perhaps Too Quiet and Peaceful though.
๐Ÿค” Combined with the fact that Danga Bay itself isn't that Well Known, many of the Eateries that I have visited in the Past have unfortunately since Ceased Operations. ๐Ÿค” So I thought I'd re-explore to see what are the New Places that has since opened since my Last Visit. ๐Ÿ‘

Here are some Highlights of Today's Trip:

First up is
Menate Steak Hub JB. ๐Ÿฎ Admittedly this is in Taman Tasek rather than Danga Bay but I decided to group this Suburb together. ๐Ÿ˜… I have never eaten a Beef Tomahawk in SG because of how Expensive it probably cost. ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ˜… When I came across this Steak Specialty Place offering it, I figured what the hey and just gave it a go. ๐Ÿ‘

If anyone is interested, including Service Charges and Taxes, a 1.5kg Angus Tomahawk here with Sides cost an Eye Watering Whopping RM680.85 (S$220.00)! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Jeez... This is even more Expensive than the RM577.70 (S$187.00) A5 Wagyu Buffet I previously had at  The Wagyu Tavern (JB) at TUTA! ๐Ÿ˜… This is probably the Most Expensive Dish I've ever eaten in Johor Bahru by far. ๐Ÿ’ธ

That said, I did a bit of research to compare how much a Tomahawk Steak cost in Singapore. ๐Ÿค” Using a SG Restaurant appropriately called "Tomahawk.com.sg" ๐Ÿ˜… as a Rough Comparison, the Price is S$20.00 per 100g (1.5kg and above) Not Including Service Taxes, eating a 1.5kg Tomahawk in Singapore cost at least S$300.00++ ๐Ÿ˜… I guess its still considered More Affordable to eat Tomahawk in JB compared to SG? ๐Ÿค” (I acknowledge that this may not be a Fair Comparison because of various other factors. This is just a Very Rough Comparison so take it what you will.)

How does the Actual Tomahawk taste though? Oh it was Really Very Nice Indeed. ❤️๐Ÿฎ So Good! Now I know why this is such a Legendary Cut of Beef. ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ˜‹ Hahaha obviously this is meant to be shared, not Soloed, and I will describe my Experience in More Details in my Future Review about this Place! ๐Ÿ˜„

----------------------------------------------

Next up,
Taman Tasek Hawker Centre is actually located just a few steps away from Menate Steak Hub. ๐ŸšถIts a Really Adorable Hawker Centre with only 4 Food Stalls. While I did not eat from here, I thought it was really adorable and appears to be quite a Old Place that has been around for Many Years already. ๐Ÿ‘ From what I understand, the Most Famous Stall here is the Kway Teow Kia. I will of course feature this Place in further details in the Future! ๐Ÿ˜„

And a Couple of More Places I visited and a Sneak Peak of the Other Dishes I ate Today! ๐Ÿ˜„

Below are the Complete List of Eateries I visited today if you are interested. ๐Ÿ‘
