This Adorable Place came up when I did my research on Non-BKT Dishes in Klang. 😄 The Name Yao Yao Bing 摇摇冰 literally translates to "Shake Shake Ice" 🪇🪇🧊 which of course will tell you that it is a Type of Iced Beverage. 🍧😅 The Actual Eatery is a Mini Kopitiam called "Nijia Fried Chicken" which is located in a Relatively Quiet Neighbourhood. 🤔 As soon as I reached the Place, I was immediately hit by a Wave of Nostalgia! 😄♥️

The Place totally looks like a Very Rustic Kampung-Styled of 小吃店. ♥️ Not Air-conditioned of course although it felt Airy and Cooling. 🌬️ Despite how Small it looks from the Outside, there was a Surprisingly Spacious Indoor Dining Area within. 👍 What I especially noticed are the Customers here who are mostly Primary School Aged Children in their Uniforms accompanied by their Parents. 👦👧 I reckon there is probably a School nearby.
Because of how Old and Rustic this place looks, I won't be surprised if this is the type of 童年小吃店 that has served Generations of Klangites 从小吃到大 type of Place. 😄 Do you remember visiting such a Place during your Own Childhood Primary School years? Exactly the Same Vibe. 😄♥️

Within this Place itself are actually 3 Small Food Stalls:
1) Yao Yao Bing 🍧
2) WTM Noodle Stall 🍜
3) Fried Chicken Stall 🍗
Check out the Mad Tossing Skills of the WTM Lady! 😄 She could toss even higher which I missed. Tossing WTM like this is not something you find often in WTM Stalls nowadays. 😅 It was a pity I was quite full when I was here or I would have ordered this to try! 😄

This Stall is really a Very Small Table near the Entrance. Staffed by 2 Bangladeshi Lads, they were Friendly and Polite and were clear in their Explainaton on how to order this. 👍 As you can see, this is a Type of Old-School Sweet Iced Beverage made using Flavoured Ice Syrups. 🍧 You simply choose what you want and they'll make it for you. 😋
There are a Total of 6 Flavours Available:
🍉 Watermelon
🥭 Mango
🍍 Pineapple
🍑 Assamboi
🫘 Red bean
🥣 Bubu Chacha

I love that you are free to either choose 1 Flavour, Mix 2-3 Flavours, or Even Choose ALL Flavours. 🍧👍 No Matter whatever Combination of Flavours you choose, the Price is still a Standard RM3.00 per Cup. 💵👍 So for this Review, I chose to Mix ALL Flavours to give it a try. 😋
What the Staff will do is take a Scoop of each Flavour and Layer them into the Cup. 🍧
The End Result is a Colourful Layering with a Beautiful Gradient of Colours. 🍧🌈

The Drink itself is an Iced Slushie of course. 🍧 With Every Flavour mixed together like this, I felt Mango 🥭 and Pineapple 🍍 dominated most of the Taste Profile with Red Bean 🫘 surprisingly sneaking in as an Aftertaste.
This is obviously a Sweet Ice Slushie Beverage made out of Processed Flavouring and Sugar 🍧 but interestingly it doesn't taste Too Overly Processed if it makes sense. 🤔 I'm also surprised to find Chunks of Fruit Pieces 🥭🍍within which makes me think that they also probably used some Fruit Cans to make the Flavours.
This actually taste rather good for what it is especially Refreshing and Cooling 😄 because it was a Rather Hot Day when I visited. 🌞 Obviously not a Super Gourmet Level, but the Taste of this thing I feel actually won't lose to a Similar Ice Slushie that you'd probably find in a Mall that cost heck of alot more. 🍧😅

🍗 Fried Drummy = RM4.00
I ordered this because this is the Item that's on their Main Signboard. 🤔 Also, its quite a Divisive Item in Google Reviews of this Place. Some People absolutely love this, while some feel its Trash so I'm here to see for myself. 🍗🤔
🌶️ Quality of the Chilli Sauce
I had fully expected this to taste like those Typical Fast Food style of Sweet Chilli but this is not the case. 🤔 It has an Unusual Presence of a type of Herb? 🌿 that I don't quite remember but it is a Herb that you'd use for Cooking.
The Overall Taste Profile is Garlicky Sweetish with an Unusual Elevated Spiciness 🌶️ which was surprising to me because I had thought they would make this Non-Spicy given that Most of their Customers are actually Young School-Children. 👦👧 Overall a Very Surprisingly Decent Quality Homemade Chilli Sauce. 👍
🍗 Quality of the Fried Drummy
This is the Sort of Fried Drummy where its already Pre-Fried 🔥🍗 and stored in a Glass Heater Cabinet exactly like how it would be served in a Typical 小吃店.
The Drummy itself is a Decent Size and the Skin Batter is not unlike the type of Drummy you'd usually see in a Typical Caifan Stall. 🍗🤔 Despite it from a Heater Cabinet and Not Freshly Fried, it still tasted Crispy and I liked the Intensely Salty Taste it had. 😋 Sinfully Oily and Juicy, this Drummy taste better than it looks. 😋 Its not going to win any Michelin Awards obviously, but I like it for what it is.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM3.00 (S$1.00) for this Yao Yao Bing 摇摇冰 🍧 is absolutely worth it for what it is. I love that whatever combination you choose, the price remains the same at RM3.00 per Cup. 👍
If you enjoy Traditional Old-School type of Ice Shushies, you will probably have no issues with this. 🍧👍 Despite obviously being made of basically Processed Sugar Syrup, I still thought the Sweetness was Acceptable. 👍
If you need to watch your Blood Sugar Levels strictly, of course you should avoid this. 🙅♂️ If not, I say just indulge a little. 😅 This actually tasted Nice. Cooling and Refreshing. 😋
At the Price of RM4.00 (S$1.30) for this Fried Chicken Drummy 🍗 was also worth the Price if you are ok with it being like those type you'd normally get with Caifan.
Obviously not Gourmet Tasting, I still really liked how Sinfully Salty it was. 😋 Even when its not Freshly Fried, I still thought it was Delightfully Hot and Juicy. 😋 Pairing this with the Refreshing Yao Yao Ping was an Excellent Sinful Snack Combo. 🍗🍧 一口摇摇冰, 一口炸鸡腿, 吃得几爽一下.
While I didn't order their WTM, I feel it also won't 差到哪里去. 🍜👍 In fact, it will probably act as a Decent Carb Canvas to eat with this Sinful Salty Fried Chicken. 🍗😅 Don't forget to get your Mobile Phone ready to capture the Noodle Tossing Skills of this Lady! 😄
At the End of the Day, its the Traditional Rustic Old School Feel of this Place that I really love. ♥️ This is the sort of Classic 1980s Small Eatery I would have totally hang out at after School. 😅 The Young School-Children Customers I see are totally doing the same thing. 👦👧 It was really Heartwarming to see the Parents dining with their Child like this. ♥️

I'm kinda Envious of Klangites still being able to visit such a Nostalgic Childhood Eatery sort of Place compared to Singapore where such Places have Completely gone Extinct already. 😞 Sadly, Such Places simply have no Place in Today's Modern Singapore where Everything need to be Modern and New. 😞
No issues with the Overall Prices which feel Affordable, 💵👍 and Taste is Decent. Staffs are Friendly and Welcoming. Something about this Place just gives me a Very Nostalgic Feel and Very Good Vibes 人情味 ♥️ that I can hardly find in Singapore anymore. 😅 I love this Place, and for me this was a Top Score. ⭐ That said it's not a Die Die Must come place also lah. 😅 If you are nearby the Area, I Highly Recommended to give this a Try! 😄
