Today's JB Trip brings me to a Classic Location: Jalan Tan Hiok Nee 陳旭年文化街
Also known as JB's Heritage Food Trail, Frequent Visitors to JB would definitely be Very Familiar with this place. ❤️ Its not my First Time here of course as the Last Time I was here was back in 2023. How Quickly Time Flies. 😌
I'm here today actually to re-visit some of the Old Eateries and Restorans that I have featured in the Past because in the Process of restoring my Old Reviews of this Place, I realized that I have lost all my Data for them! 😅 Oh well, No Biggie. I figured since its already been More than 2 Years since I visited, I might as well re-visit and re-do these Reviews and see what has changed! 👍
The Most Famous Eatery here is arguably Hiap Joo Bakery who is Famous for their Banana Cakes. 🍌 Started since 1919, they have been around for More than 100 Years! 😳 Truly a 百年老店. Frequently Featured in Numerous Food Blogs, this place should not be Unfamiliar to both Singaporeans and JB-Langs.
I've baked Banana Cakes myself before so my Future Review will be from a More Culinary Perspective so I hope I can offer yet another Different Insight amidst the Multiple Blogs that have already been written about this Place. 👍
Restoran Ya Wang is another Equally Famous Restoran around this Area. Its a name that almost Every Singaporean will know. Even if you've never been to JB, you will most certainly come across this Name in one way or another. One Reason for their Fame is because they are the Consultants for 店小二 in Singapore.
I'll be honest, when I did my Review back in 2023, I actually wasn't impressed. Both in terms of Taste and Service. 🤔 How do they fare 2 years later? Do stay tuned for my Future Review to find out! 😄 And of course many more!

I also visited JB City Square Mall for abit on this Trip. For anyone wanting to buy CNY Kueh Kuehs, yes all the Vendors have set up their Kiosks at the Main Podium. 👍
Quite a Nice 黄金骏马 Display Centerpiece they have this year too. LOL at the "马上有钱花" CNY Slogan this year 🐎😄 I've also taken a Photo of the Upcoming CNY Events that will be held at JB City Square Mall too.
