🍜☕ Noodle Soup with Preserved Bamboo Shoots + Hot Milk Tea = HKD36.00

This was a Random Eatery I found before I set off to climb the 10,000 Buddhas Monastery Hill in Sha Tin. 🪷⛰️ Did not eat Breakfast before I left my Hostel and this Place's Logo looked Adorable so why not. 😅 Its a Small Eatery that is located in what looks like the Carpark of someone's Private Landed House. 🏠🤔 Quite a lot of Customers within but one thing you need to take note before coming here is that: This Eatery is a Smoking Zone. 🚬 You can be sitting right next to a Smoker here who will just light up a cigarette right next to where you're eating. 🚬🤔

You'll be given a Menu and when you're ready to order, just raise your hand and let the Staff know what you want. 🙋♂️ The Staff manning the place is an Auntie and while she is initially Friendly and Welcoming, she also gives me the feeling that she can be abit impatient. 🤔 Also this was the place I learnt the hard way that Hot HK Milk Tea by default comes with No Sugar. 🚫🍬😅
When I ordered this and just wanted to let her know that I want No Sugar, all of a sudden, she raised her voice and shouted: "YOU ORDERED HOT MILK TEA RIGHT? OF COURSE THERE'S NO SUGAR!" which caught me a little off-guard and got a Few of the Patrons to look over at my direction. 😐 And that is even though I spoke Cantonese with her. Very Typical Impatient Angry Hong Kong Auntie type of attitude you see in HK Movies. 🇭🇰😡😅
🍜☕ Noodle Soup with Preserved Bamboo Shoots + Hot Milk Tea = HKD36.00
I'll be honest, I have no idea what I wanted, so this was actually something that a Fellow Customer next to me ordered. 😅 I thought it looked good since I did want to eat a Hot Soupy Noodle Dish 🍜 and a Hot Cup of Milk Tea ☕ during this Cold Morning. 🥶
No idea what this Dish is actually called, so i'll just name it as "Noodle Soup with Preserved Bamboo Shoots" 🍜🎍 Its served up very quickly in 1 Min and its quite a Large Bowl. 🍜 The Noodles used are Packaged Instant Noodles and I think its about 1 Portion worth. 🤔

There are no Discernible Aroma from this Dish. The Main Ingredients, other than the Instant Noodles are Pieces of Bamboo Shoots 🎍 and Very Small Pork Cubes 🐷 which I think this is a Canned Product because I've eaten it before but I've forgotten the name. 🥫🤔 I remember this is also available in Most Singapore Supermarkets. 🤔

The Soup itself is Not Overly Salty and has a Slightly Creamy Taste. 🍲🥛 I have a feeling Abit of Evaporated Milk may also be added here. 🤔 This is really a Very Simple Dish. Just Noodles, 🍜 A Soup Base, 🍲 Some Pieces of Bamboo Shoots 🎍 and maybe 1 Tablespoon of that Canned Pork Cubes. 🐷🥫 For some reason, perhaps it was a Cold Morning, 🥶 I really liked slurping the Hot Soup 🍲 and wanted to Drink Dry which I eventually refrained because this is obviously laden with too much MSG. 🧂😅
The HK Milk Tea here ain't bad and has a Nice Creamy Taste, ☕ but I felt somehow the Taste of Tea is actually slighly weaker than even McDonald's Version. ☕🤔 No Idea how much this cost by itself because the total price of HKD36.00 (S$6.30) is with the Bowl of Noodles. 🍜 After getting shouted at, I'll admit I also don't have the mood to go ask. 😅

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
Personally, there is nothing really special about this Bowl of Noodles. 🍜🤔 Its really the sort of Dish a Student will make themselves as a Quick Meal before cramming for their Studies. 👨💻😅 Its really just Instant Noodles and whatever Canned Items you can throw inside. 🍜
It really only tasted Warm and Comforting because of the Cold Weather really. 🥶😅 I think Everything also taste nice when you're Cold and Hungry. Hahaha! ❄️😅 One thing I didn't like is how I had to sit next to Smokers who will just light up infront of you. 🚬🤔 So if you don't like to sit with Smokers, I do not recommend to come here. 🙅♂️
I also can't say that the Auntie had Poor Customer Service, because this is how some Hong Kongers behave? 🇭🇰🤔 She had the typical Hot 🔥 and Cold ❄️ Attitude that I see for quite a few Eateries here in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰 Warm and Welcoming at first, but as long as you do or ask something they don't like, they won't hesitate to raise their voices and shout at you. 😤
And that is even when I spoke Cantonese with her. 😅 I feel her Attitude may be Worse or more Hostile if I were to only converse in Mandarin? Who knows. 🤔 Unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience at this place. If you decide to come here, I hope you have a Better Experience than I did. 🤔
