Ah... the Famous Australia Milk Company. Mention about Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and THIS is the place that Everyone will surely come visit. 😅 It is so Popular and Famous that when I was here early in the Morning at 7.00am, 🕖 there were already some Tourists taking Photo Selfies with the Shop. 📸😅 This is basically a Cha Chaan Teng, which is a Typical Eatery in Hong Kong. Google Maps reports that it opens at 7.30am 🕖🤔 but I recommend to actually come earlier. Best time to come is between 7.00am to 7.30am where there are no queues. 🕖👍
Even at this Early Hour, the Place was Packed and all the Tables were already Filled. But therein I saw the Beauty of HK Eateries. 🇭🇰❤️ Even if all the Tables were filled up, all you needed to do was to go up to any Staff and they will help you chope a Seat with an Existing Table. 👍 In Hong Kong, this is the Culture. You are expected to share tables with people, you do not own the table yourself. 🤔
So being a Solo Traveller in Hong Kong is very Advantageous because you are only 1 Person, 😄 you can easily get a Seat even if the Eatery seems Fully Packed. 🪑👍 Somehow, the Staff will still be able to get a Seat for you! 🪑😄 Obviously if you are in a Group, be prepared to Queue.
Interior of the Place
The Interior of the place has a Very Classic HK Cha Chaan Teng sort of look that you normally see in HK Movies. 🇭🇰📽️ I'm most surprised that this Place is actually not as Touristy as I imagined as there are actually Plenty of HK Locals here too. 🇭🇰😳
I am Most Impressed with the attitudes of the Staffs. 👍Maybe because I spoke Cantonese with them, they gave me a very "Bro Feel" Dai Gor type of feel. 😄 They were so Customer Service Focused, they even provided an Additional Stool for me to put my Bag so I don't have to put it on the Floor, 🪑🎒 and when I was taking Photos of their Menu on the Table, they instinctively took out their Nicer Looking Menu for me to take Photo instead. Amazing! 😄
This was Especially Amazing because apparently this Place is Famous for their Bad Customer Service. 🤬😅 Perhaps it's a Combination of being able to converse in Canto 🗣️ and the fact I reached there Early Morning 🌞 when it wasn't Too Busy that helped? 😅

The Milk Tea here has a Nice Creamy Undertone and while the Tea Leaves Taste 🌱 is not as Intense as the version by McDonalds, it has a Smooth Taste. 🫖😋 If you enjoy a Cup of Hot Milk Tea, I reckon you will enjoy this too. 🫖👍

The Famous Dish here is of course their Milk Pudding and it was really No Joke. 🍮😋 This tasted Softer than even the Softest Tau Huay we have in Singapore! 😳 Its so Soft, the Whole Thing is barely holding itself and i'm surprised why it didn't already disintegrate. 🍮😅
It has a Very Strong Milk Powder Taste and is Very Intensely Sweet. 🍬😳 This really is Very Very Sweet. I can totally understand why people like this. It tastes really nice but it really is very sweet. 🍬😅 I wished it came Zero Sugar so I could customize the Level of Sweetness but alas this is not the case. The Default Taste is Very Sweet. 🍬🤔
Protip: Add some of that Milk Tea into the Steamed Milk Pudding to get an Additional Flavour of Tea Taste too. This will also help reduce the Sweetness to a more Manageable Level.
🍲 通粉火腿 Macaroni in Chicken Soup with Ham = HKD38.00
Apparently Macaroni Soup is a Classic HK Breakfast Item. 🌞 Its a Very Simple Dish, just Macaroni in a Soup Broth 🍲 with some Slices of Ham. 🐷 The Soup Broth has a Hint of Egg 🍳 but is mostly powered with Chicken MSG Powder. 🤔 Even so, I feel it tastes nicer than McD version. Ham Slices were most certainly from a a Supermarket Deli and tastes exactly like it too. 🐷🤔 Very Simple Dish, it tastes exactly how you imagine it to taste.
Because of how Famous this place is, I had thought it would be Very Touristy and Overated. 🤔 I'm surprised that even HK Locals visit this place too. 🇭🇰🤔 While the Macaroni was Underwhelming, the Milk Pudding 🍮 really did impress me, although I wished it wasn't so sweet by default. 🍬😅
What impressed me the most were the Attitudes of the Staffs who were very Polite and actually focused on Customer Service. 👍 I really liked the "Dai Gor" 大哥 sort of vibe I got from them especially when i conversed in Canto. 🇭🇰🗣️ If this is your first time in Hong Kong, I can recommend this place, 👍 although you must definitely be here Early in order to avoid any Long Queues. Highly Recommended! 👍
