Eating a Portuguese Egg Tart right in the Middle of Macau, a City which itself has a Strong Portuguese Influence is quite an Amazing Feeling let me tell you that! 😄 This is probably as close as you can get to eating a Real Authentic Portuguese Egg Tart without actually travelling to Portugal I reckon! 😄
This is a Very Popular Bakery in Macau famous for their Portuguese Egg Tarts and it really was. 🥧🤔 There really are alot of people. 🛍️👍 Personally, I feel if you are not here by 11.30pm on a Weekday, the Queue will be too long. 🤔 By 12.00pm Noon the queue already felt very jialat for me.
Protip: If you just want to try their Egg Tarts, you don't really need to actually sit down to dine in. Just simply Dapao and Takeaway will do.

The inside is basically just a Typical Bakery. Just pay for it at the Counter, get a Receipt and pass it to another Staff who will give you the Egg Tarts. 🥧
Taking Photos of the place is apparently not allowed as you can see in this Photo of her trying to stop me. But I snapped a Few Quick Shots to let ya'll get a feel of the place. 📷 I think the Staffs are Portuguese? 🤔 While they don't speak English, they do understand English, Chinese and Canto. Not Particularly Friendly or Welcoming, but also Not Hostile. 🤔

I LOVE that the Egg Tart is Super Hot and Fresh from the Bakery. 🥧🔥 It's layered like how a Portuguese Tart usually is made, but unlike Usual Portuguese Egg Tarts I've eaten, the Dough Skin is SUPER SOFT, Fragile and Flaky! ❤️ This is a very Different Texture from the Usual Ones i've eaten.

Because it was Fresh off the Oven, 🔥 the Egg Filling within wass Super Hot, Super Soft and Creamy. 🥚😋 Did I meantion it was Super Hot? It really is Molten Boiling Hot and can Scald your Tongue so do be careful eating this. 🔥😅 I felt that while its not Super Sweet, its a tad Sweeter than the ones I've eaten in Singapore or JB. 🍬🤔

Personally, I've always been quite meh towards Portuguese Tarts but the one here really does taste good. 🥧😋 Its that Super Soft Flaky Skin that really hits the spot for me. 😋 Perhaps its because they were literally Fresh off the Oven 🔥 that made them taste so Phenomenal.
I can recommend this Egg Tart as it does taste very good and HKD11.00 (S$2.00) for 1 Egg Tart is a Reasonable Price. It is of course quite an Experience to eat Actual Authentic Portuguese Egg Tart in Macau itself.👍 That said, if you can get it without a Long Queue sure. 👍 Personally though, I don't think its worth to Queue Hours for this. 🤔
If you want to try some Really Good Macau Pork Chop Bun, Don't forget to visit 生利咖啡麵食 which is located just Next Door of this Bakery that I reviewed previously!
