Nasi Aruk is a Sarawakian-Style Malay Fried Rice Technique that uses Little to No Oil during Frying as compared to Nasi Goreng. ðŊðĪ When I checked with my Malay Colleagues, no one has ever heard of this being done in Singapore so I'm really intrigued by this. ð
This Restaurant also seems to be quite Popular. ð You know you've Struck Gold when you ask about this place and Grab Drivers all speak fondly of it. ð♥️
The Restaurant itself is Beautifully Renovated and Furnished and looks like I've stepped into someone's Private Home. ð The Staffs are Friendly although it looks like they're probably understaffed as me and a few other customers had to wait quite a while when its time to pay at the Cashier at the end of our Meal. ð

The Dish itself is very Beautifully Presented as you can see. ð The Rice really doesn't taste Overly Oily. ðĪ Neither does it taste Dry and it has a somewhat stickier consistency. ðĪ There is a Very Deep Haebee Aroma ðĶ and the Taste is Noticeably Salty and Complex.with a Tinge of Spiciness. ð§ðķ️ This is Very Well Made. Just the Rice alone is Delicious by itself! ðð

The Ayam Penyet is Deeply Spiced ðŋ also Not Overly Oily at all and taste really nice, although I felt the Meat is a little bit on the Dry Side. ðð
The Little Crispy Spicy Bits have what looks like Fennel Seeds in them. It's a really Big Fat Drummy and pairs beautifully with the Nasi Aruk. Layers of Spice upon Spice. æĩæĩįéĐŽæĨéĢåģ ð ðŋð

Condiments are a Sharp Salty Minced Haebee ðĶ and some Onion Dark Soy Sauce that is Bitingly Spicy and Savoury. ðķ️ð There is also a Beautiful Leaf Herb Condiment on the side that I'm not sure what the name is. ðŋðĪ
It has a very Strong Sharp Taste that has an Aftertaste of Mango. ðĨ Very interesting. Eating this together with the Rice adds another Dimension to the Dish. ðð Overall, this is an Absolutely Well Crafted and Designed and Very Filling Dish that I can Easily Recommend. ð

The Sago Gula Apong is a Very Milky and Creamy Cold Dessert and the Sweetness is Just Nice, Not Too Sweet. ð§ð Eating this felt like a Palette Cleanser and was a Nice Break from the more éåĢåģ Ayam Penyet. ð
With a total price of RM19.70 (S$5.80) without any Service Charge for this Excellent Quality, this is Absolutely Worth the Money to come give this a Try. ð Highly Recommended!
