Kampua Mee (Normal) = RM6.00

This is another Unique Foo Chow Dish. I realize Kuching has alot of Foo Chow dishes. 🤔 I don't think they are as common in Singapore. Most of our Singapore Chinese Cuisine, I believe are leans more towards Hokkien, Teochew or Cantonese. 🤔 After my last Foo Chow Red Wine Mee Sua however, I was a little more wary. 😅 Luckily Kampua Mee tasted more conventional.

The Chinese Word for Kampua Mee is "åš˛į›˜éĸ" which means "Dry Plate". The Stall Lady herself is Foo Chow and even she also don't exactly know why its called that. 😅 Perhaps its meant to mean the Dish is so delicious that one will eat until the whole plate dry? đŸŊ️😅 Hahaha

The White Version is supposed ot be the more Original one. 🤔 Like Kolo Mee, this looks deceptively Plan and Simple. To me, this actually tastes similiar to č‘ąæ˛šéĸ Scallion Oil Noodles. 🍜🤔

The Noodles felt like U-Mian and its Very Oily. 🤔 The Scallion Oil Aroma is very Subtle. Served with slices of Braised Pork Meat which are Soft and Tender with a slightly stronger than usual Piggy Taste 🐷 and finally sprinkled with Pork Lard thats not Crispy but more Chewy type. TBH, I really don't think Kampua mee taste any different from Scallion Oil Noodles 🍜🤔
