Cha Kueh (Salty, Small) = RM4.50

Instead of Singapore's style of calling this dish "Chai Tao Kway" (Fried Turnip Cake), Kuching calls their version "Cha Kueh". 🤔 In Kuching, our SG White Version is known as "Salty" and our SG Black Version is known as "Sweet" 🤔 I ordered the (White) Salty Version for this one. Although its named "Salty", to me this tastes just nice, only Mildly Salty. 🧂 Portion is acceptable and filling for the Price.
Wok Hei Gao Gao and what I love the most are the regular Crispy bits with every few bites and the whole thing tastes very savoury. 🔥😋 You do need to eat it while its hot because as it gets colder, you will lose the Crispy Bits fast.

The Chilli given is Bitingly Spicy. 🌶️🔥 The Spiciness doesn't kick in immediately but gradually and pairs very well. 🌶️😋
This is a Delicious plate of Char Kway thats is very nicely fried and won't lose to Singapore's version.

This stall is located right next to the Kway Chup stall in this Woon Lam Kopitiam and eating both of them together alternating between the Softer Kway Chup and the Slightly Firmer Char was Really Amazing! 😋 Definitely can recommend this stall to try if you're here.
