When I came across this Place while exploring the Mall and I was intrigued by the name. In Hong Kong, there is a Very Famous Michelin Rated "Mak's Noodle" WTM. As I did further googling, I discovered in fact, there are actually quite alot of WTM Noodles that are all named as "Mak" for some reason. I'm unable to confirm if they are all related but I thought that was pretty interesting.

The Outlet that I'm at here in this Mall was Nicely Furnished and Cleanly Kept. Not a Big Place but felt Cozy for some reason. Simple Modern Renovation Design with even abit of Japanese-Styled Touches.
I particularly liked that they have Several Dedicated Partitioned Solo Dining Cubicles with even 3 Pin Plug Sockets available for anyone to use to charge their Phones. Surprisingly Solo Friendly DIning Concept that is quite Rare to find in Malaysia.

Quite a Popular Place as you can see on a Weekday Lunch Hour at 12.30pm. The Staffs are Mostly Myanmar Folks who are Friendly, Polite and Mostly Keep to Themselves. Ordering of Food is Via Pencil and Paper. It took 2 Mins for the Dish to be served up which is quite impressive considering the Elevated Level of Customers that time.
嫡傳鮮蝦雲吞湯麵 Signature Sea Prawn Wonton Soup Noodle (Small, Thin Noodles) = RM14.90
Even for a "Small", I thought it was still a Relatively Large Bowl. As you can see, its Plainly Presented with a Pile of Noodles in a Soup. As you dig deeper however, you'll discover that all the Wantons are Hidden under the Noodles. While this made the Presentation initially look Plain, this is also a Clever Technique to keep the Wantons Piping Hot.

The Whole Dish is quite Simple which consists of:
Noodles
Soup Broth
4 Wantons
Sprinkling of Spring Onions
You will notice that there are No Char Siew in this WTM and actually this is Accurate. Real HK-Styled WTM does not add Char Siew. (At least not from the one I ate at Hong Kong the other time)

Quality of the Soup Broth
I'll admit I wasn't blown away by this but it is Decent Tasting. There is a Slight Presence of Fish that is boiled into this. Slightly Saltish, Slightly Alkaliney but Not Overly So.
Doesn't feel that any MSG is being used in this. Warm and Comforting, this was a Decent Tasting WTM Soup.
Quality of the Noodles
You actually have a Choice of Different Types of Noodles and of course I chose this Mee Kia since this is the Most Classic Type of Noodles for WTM. Amount Given is Acceptable and Filling.
Quality is Decent, Not Super QQ but still has a Soft Bouncy with a Soft Bite. Easily Slurppable Quality. Likely from a Package and Not Homemade by them, I nevertheless have no issues with it. This was a Decently Made HK-Styled WTM Noodle.
Quality of the Wantons
Compared to the ones I had in HK the other time, these were Not as Gigantic Huge in Size but they are still Considerably Larger than our South East Asian Styled Baby Wantons. I thought it was Slightly Amusing that they are wrapped like a Japanese-Styled 福袋 actually.

There are what looks like 2 Small prawns within and they were Delightfully Juicy, Bouncy with a Prawn Sweetness. That said, I also felt the 虾味 abit on the Heavier Side. Quite Prawny. Wanton Skin is Soft and Smooth. The Whole Thing was nice to eat with a Smooth Skin and Bouncy Prawn Meat within.

Eating Everything together tastes quite Legit for a HK-Styled WTM. Compared to our Classic Singapore/Malaysian style, HK-Styled is More MIld and Not So 重口味. Some people might find this too Mild though, which in this case I would recommend to add some Green Chilli that would make it Bloom.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM14.90 (S$4.60) is not say Cheap for this Bowl of WTM although to be fair it is located in a Shopping Mall. It is Competently and Decently Done and does taste like a Legit HK-Styled WTM.
The Soup Broth doesn't taste Super Amazing Mind-Blowing, but it is also not Cheaply Made and Low-Effort as I could taste the Slight Presence of Fish that was used to make this. Amusingly, I actually found this Nicely Less Alkaliney compared to Authentic HK-Styled WTM I had in Hong Kong itself although to be fair I only ate from 1 WTM Shop that time.

Noodles were made well, and although Not Super QQ, was Very Slurppable and Satisfying. Wantons weren't as Huge as True HK Style, but they were still Decent although I found the 虾味 to be Noticeably Prawny. Everything works together well from Soup to Noodles to Wanton. 一口汤,一口麵, 一口云吞,吃的几爽一下
I also have no issues with this Place itself. In fact, I'm even quite happy that this Eatery is surprisingly Solo Friendly with Dedicated Solo Partition Cubicles. Overall a Decent HK-Styled WTM. If you are ok with the Prices on the Menu and is craving for some Hot Soupy Noodles, I can recommend this Eatery to give it a try.
