This is a Relatively Large Restoran dedicated to China Lanzhou ๅ ฐๅท Dishes. ๐จ๐ณ Lanzhou is the Capital City of Gansu Province in Northwestern China that has a Significant Muslim Population primarily of the Hui Ethnic Group dating back over 1300 years. (Source: Google AI Overview)

The Place looks Elegantly Renovated with a Modern Design Note. There weren't any Customers around when I was there at 11.26am on a Friday Morning. ๐ (I visited this Restoran back in October 2025 btw, Not Ramadan Season)
The Staff attending to me was Friendly and Polite. I especially appreciated when I asked for an Additional Small Plate, he not only brought the Plate, he also brought along a Smaller Sauce Plate just to ensure he did not misunderstand my Request. ๐ฝ️ I appreciate this level of Attention very much. ๐
I'm quite intrigued to learn that China-Styled ๅๅ้ข "Shaved Noodles" is actually translated as "Mee Hiris" (Sliced Noodles) in Malay so thats what I ordered since its literally the Name of the Restoran itself. ๐ It took about 8 Mins for the Dish to be served up.
๐ถ️ Quality of the Chilli Condiment ็บขๆฒน
The Chilli Condiment they have on the Table is Chinese-Styled ็บขๆฒน yes, but I thought it had a Noticeable More Saltier Note than Regular ็บขๆฒน that I've tasted before. ๐ถ️๐ค
Not only just focusing on Chilli Peppers, I thought it also had a Slight Meaty Flavour to it. Very Mildly Spicy, this doesn't bite at all. Not Bad Chilli Condiment. ๐ถ️๐
๐ฎ๐ Mee Tarik Soup with Braised Beef ๆ็็บข็ง็่ๆ้ข (ๅๅ้ข) = RM21.90

Decently Presented in a Chinese-Styled Bowl, the Dish looked like a Big Bowl of Noodles. ๐ It comes with:
๐ Noodles of course
๐ฎ 15 Small Cuts of ็บข็ง Braised Beef
๐ฅฌ 4 Small Stalks of Chye Sim
๐ฅฌ Sprinkling of Spring Onions and Sesame Seeds for Garnishing
๐ฒ Quality of the Soup Broth
Oily with alot of Chilli Oil ็บขๆฒน, ๐ถ️ its Very Mild in Beef Flavour actually, not Very Gao Gao Beefy type. ๐ฎ๐ค Doesn't taste like MSG is added, it doesn't taste like its Boiled for Very Long due to the Mild Beefiness in the Broth, but it is Decent Tasting. ๐ Despite how much ็บขๆฒน is added, its Not Mala or Very Spicy at all, at most just a Gentle Spicy Heat in your Throat. ๐ถ️

๐ Quality of the Noodles
Amount of Noodles given is Reasonable. Long and Thick, almost like a Thicker Version of a Regular Kway Teow. ๐๐ค There is a Unique Line Indentation running along in the Middle. ๐ค I love the Texture though because it is Very Soft and Smooth and Slides Super Easy down the Gullet. ๐

That said, I don't think this is actually ๅๅ้ข? ๐ค Now I've never eaten Authentic ๅๅ้ข from China itself, but i think it is supposed to be a Shorter Cut Noodles as compared to this type of Long Noodles which is why its called ๅๅ้ข "Shaved Noodles" in the First Place? ๐ค
๐ฎ Quality of the Beef Pieces
Cut into Smaller Pieces, these exuded a Delicious Aroma as expected for a ็บข็ง็่ Braised Beef. ๐ฎ๐ Bite Texture isn't Melt in Mouth though with a Slight Tender Meaty Chew. Not Overly Beefy, they were Decent Tasting. ๐

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM21.90 (S$6.90) is not say Cheap for this, but I feel its still worth the Money. The Thing that did it for me is really how Soft and Smooth and Slurppable this Noodle was. ๐๐ Really Soft and Goes Down Easy, eating this felt like I was eating a Very Soft Kueh. ๐ The only issue I have is that I don't think this is actually Authentic ๅๅ้ข? ๐ค
To be fair, I have never eaten Actual Authentic ๅๅ้ข "Knife shaved Noodles" from China itself, so I'm really not sure if this is a Different Variation or not. ๐จ๐ณ๐ค For Folks who have eaten Authentic ๅๅ้ข from Lanzhou itself, is this Noodle Accurate? Is it supposed to be Long Long type? ๐ค

Authenticity of the Noodle aside, I have no issues with the Dish. ๐ It doesn't taste Too Foreign Tasting and I reckon will appeal to Most People. ๐ Eating Everything together was Pretty Satisfying slurping up everything with a Not-Spicy Broth and Ocassional Bites of that Tender Meaty Braised Beef. ๐ ไธๅฃๆฑค, ไธๅฃ่, ไธๅฃ้บต, ๅ็ๅ ็ฝไธไธ.
Don't let my Average Score deter you. If you are looking for some Decent Tasting China-Styled Slurpable Noodles that doesn't taste Too Foreign, don't mind the Prices on the Menu, and also don't mind that this Noodle may not be 100% Authentic ๅๅ้ข, I can still recommend this Restoran to give it a try. ๐
