As I explored around the Mall, I was quite surprised to find this Vegetarian Eatery located at the Ground Floor. 🥬🤔 Really Low Key Place, there is Not even a Single Google Review or Photo of this Place on Google Maps back when I visited in October 2025. 🤔

If you were to pass by casually, you will probably think this is a Typical Store selling Vegetarian Products, Dry Goods etc, but they do have a Small Dining-In Cafe. 🍽️ Very Simple Renovation with a Greenish Colour Scheme.

While its not a Super Popular Type of Place, there were Occasional Customers in this place as I observed on a Weekday. 🤔 The Myanmar Staffs are Quiet, Polite and Reserved and the Owner is a Friendly and Polite Local Malaysian Chinese Young Lad. 👍

I say this wasn't a Place that is Popular with Customers, but just nice there was a 8-Member Big Family that was there. 👍 Because its a First Come First Served Basis,  this caused quite a hit on the Serving Time.

It took 24 Mins for my Dish to be served up. 24 Mins is a Very Long Wait on a Weekday for only 2 Tables of Customers. So you might need to take note of this if you are visiting this if its ever Crowded. 🤔

The Chilli Condiment served looks Spicy, and has a Almost Similar Taste Profile as a Chicken Rice Type of Chilli but its Completely Not Spicy at all, Not even a Little Bit. 🌶️🤔

Its so Not Spicy that I think even Children would have no issues with it. 👍 Its so cute to have a Chicken Rice Tasting type of Chilli with Zero Spiciness.

I'll be honest, I had no idea what to order so I ordered this since its listed as a Signature Dish but mostly because I thought its Wooden Bucket Presentation in the Menu Picture looked Cute. 🪣😅 I was Delighted that it was Really Served in this Adorable Wooden Bucket. 

The Dish itself consists of:

🍲 Soup

🟧 6 Long Pieces of Taupok

🍄 6 Pieces of Shitake Mushrooms

🥬 Some Veggies 

🌿 Some Coriander for Garnishing

🍲 Quality of the Soup Broth

Amount of Soup given is about 1 Small Bowl's Worth. Its Dark and Blackish in Colour and Looks Oily with Splotches of Oil on the Surface. 🍲 There is a Familiar Vegetarian Taupok sort of Aroma wafting from it if you regularly eat Chinese Vegetarian Foods. 🥬

Hot and Comforting, its Slightly Saltish and Not Overly So, Not Overly Oily too despite how Oily it looks. In fact I feel this is Drinkable. 😋 There is a Gritty Texture when you drink this down due to Multiple Soft Small Pieces of Mushrooms. 🍄

I reckon its trying to emulate a Braised Herbal Pork Rib Broth. 🤔 While you will not be fooled by it, it does taste Decent I enjoy the Mushroomy Taupok Flavour without any Vegetarian Oyster Sauce type of Taste that I don't like in Vegetarian Foods. 👍

🟧 Quality of the Taupok

These were pretty decent in size for what they were. I love how Soft and Tender almost Melt in Mouth they tasted. Soaked Well in that Mushroomy Soup Broth, I enjoyed how it 爆汁 and Melted in my Mouth. Nice. 😋

🍄 Quality of the Shitake Mushrooms

These were Full Shitake with Stems attached. Bouncy, Juicy and Nicely Mushroomy. 🍄 Again like the Taupok, these soaked up the Broth beautifully and was Juicy to the Bite. I liked that there are quite a Few Pieces of these to Enjoy. 😋

🥬 Quality of the Veggies

Nothing Special about this, also Soft and Tender soaked with that Broth. 🥬

Protip if you are Watching your Salt Level

If you are ordering this Dish, remember to tell them to set the Salt Level to where you don't order Rice.  🧂🤔 According to the Friendly Young Lad, they actually lowered the Salt Level when they noted that I did not order any Rice. Personally, I feel this Lowered Salt Level is Good Enough. 🤔

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM17.90 (S$5.60) wthout Rice is not say Cheap for this Dish. While it is Unique Presented in a Wooden Tub like this, the Dish itself is Not Very Complicated. 🤔 It is essentially a Vegetarian Braised Mushroomy Soup Broth with Taupok, Mushrooms and Veggies that's all. 🍲

What I enjoyed about this Dish however is this Very Hot and Comforting Soup Broth which I feel is the Soul of this Dish. 🍲😋 I just enjoyed the Savoury Mushroomy Comforting Taste of it that is also Not Overly Salty and Most Importantly don't have that Vegetarian Oyster sort of taste. 👍

This Broth taste so Decent, that I feel even Non-Vegetarians will also enjoy this too. 🍲👍 Its that sort of Broth which is Perfect to lum and eat with Rice so if you can eat Carbs, I do recommend to get a Bowl of Rice to pair with this. 🍚

Both the Taupok and Mushrooms also paired Very Well with it, with a Delightful 煮到 close to 烂烂 Melt in Mouth Quality Texture. 🍄😋 I only wished they added something Herbal into this which would have taken this Over the Top but of course Cost Price and Budget needs to be factored in. 🌿🤔

Overall, I have no issues with this Place. Customer Service is Decent, and the Young Lad owning this Place was a Friendly Chap. 👍 The Dish itself is Decent in Taste especially if you are someone who enjoy eating a Hot Comforting Braised Broth Zhup with Rice type. 🍲😋

The Only Issue I really have is the Serving Time of 24 Mins even on a Weekday when its Not Full-House. 🤔 So I would reckon the Wait may be even worse if its on a Weekend. This is something they might need to look into. 🤔 If you are looking for some Vegetarian Foods, don't mind how Low Key, Mundane and Plain this Place looks, and is Ok with the Prices on their Menu, I can recommend this Place or give it a try. 👍
