About this Ximending Night Market 西門町商圈
Ximending 西門町 is Located Right Next to the Very Busy Ximen MRT Station 西門 Interchange where the Blue Bannan MRT Line 板南線 and Green Songshan-Xindian Line 松山新店線 intersect. 🚆 Alternatively, you can just take an Uber to this if you have Mobility Issues. 🚗
Although there is a Night Market, Ximending 西門町 is Much More Famous and Well-Known as a Hip and Trendy Youth Shopping District 🎉 that is Comparable to Shibuya or Shinjuku in Japan. 🛍️
Although Google Maps lists the Timing as starting from 6.00pm, the Whole Place is actually Open for Business in the Day as it is a Shopping District after all. 🛍️
Although of course not as Crowded as Evening Time. 6.00pm is the Timing where I feel it really comes Alive. 🎉 One of the Most Famous Shopping Districts of Taiwan Taipei, I feel its Really Catered more for the Younger Crowd.
Needless to say, this Place is a Total Tourist Hotspot. 🎉

The Food Stalls here are Small Mobile Food Carts and are Noticeably Smaller in Scale compared to some of the Other Night Markets in Taipei. 🤔
There are Not Alot of Food Carts by the way, so don't come here expecting a Huge Selection of Foods. Some of these Food Carts even sell Repeated Items. 🤔

Booth Owners are Friendly and Polite, No Rowdy Behaviour. 👍 Overall feels Safe although of course, do take the usual precautions for your belongings especially when it starts getting Crowded.
I didn't particularly go check the Food Prices from the Food Stalls obviously, but I reckon they should be agar agar around Regular Prices you'd find elsewhere in Taiwan with a Mark-Up.

大雕烧 - 牛奶巧大雕 (Filling Cake, Milk Chocolate Flavour) = TWD160 Each
HAHAHAHAHA!!! 笑死人 Where to even Begin! 😅
Although it is Politely Translated in English as "Filling Cake", the Chinese Name of this Phallic Chocolate 大雕 actually Amusingly translates as "Giant Eagle" 🦅 which of course is a Euphemism for a 🍆.
When I passed by this Souvenir Shop that Proudly showed this at its Entrance, I knew I just have to go in and give it a Try! 😅 This is a Very Typical Souvenir Shop meant for Tourists. 🛍️

The Shop Lady was a Very Polite, Friendly and Welcoming. 👍 When I expressed Interest in purchasing this 大雕, 🦅 I almost completely lost it and wanted to burst out laughing when she asked me if I wanted to buy more as there are plenty of other Flavours to choose from! 😅
笑死人 I don't know how she can still keep such a Professional Straight and Polite Face while recommending this. I salute her Professionalism despite promoting such a Rediculous Product. 👍
But yea, if you're interested, there are Plenty of Flavours to Choose From as you can see. 📷 All of the Flavours are priced the same. 🍫

For anyone who is interested, this Chocolate 🍆 measures a Total of 10.5cm (about 4 Inches).
If you don't count the Balls, its 7.62cm (about 3 Inches). 🍒😅 Do with this Information what you will.
For Goodness Sake, please don't ask me about the Girth Measurement. Use your Imagination LOL! 😅

I don't know whether to laugh or feel disgusted that they even go thru the trouble of modelling the Veins on this Thing. 😅 Also, I don't know the Exact Weight, but this Chocolate 🍆 feels Heavy in my Hands.
(Ughhh. That sounds so Wrong on so Many Levels!) 😝

Ok so how does it Taste? 😝
As I Chomped it down ... Ugghh ... Unfortunately it tastes Exactly like those Cheapo Chocolate that you normally find in a Value Dollar Shop. 😝🍫 One Taste of it, you can immediately tell this is a Low Quality Chocolate with those Low Quality Oily Oily Type of Texture. 👎

But that's not even the Worst Part. They even go thru the Trouble of sticking a LONG STRIP OF STICKY WHITE NIAM NIAM NOUGAT WITHIN THIS CHOCO 🍆! Ahhh!!! 😝 No Prizes for Guessing what this is supposed to represent! LOL!! 😅
And to go even One Step Further, within this White Nougat was even a Dried Red Sticky Cranberry Filling!!! 🍒 Wah Piang eh!!
Part of me felt Disgusted at what they're trying to Represent here, 😝and Part of Me wants to Applaud them for going thru the Trouble of doing this when they can just simply sell a Plain Version instead. 👏 Win Liao Lor. 😅

At the Price of TWD160 (S$6.50), obviously this is Specifically Made as a Naughty Gag Souvenir Gift purely to earn Tourist Dollars. 🍆 Believe it or not, I wish the Chocolate wasn't such Low Quality. 😅 I took a Few Bites before I discarded it. If it tasted nicer, I would totally have eaten it, and then go reflect on myself for my Stupid Life Choices. LOL! 😝
What I was Impressed (and Simultaneously Disgusted) 😅 was that they actually took the Effort of adding a Sticky White Nougat with an Equally Sticky Dried Red Cranberry Filling 🍒 within. They could have just sold this Choco 🍆 Plain with Nothing Inside and it would still have the Equal Gag Effect on Others. That's some Real Dedication and Attention to Detail right there. Yeeuchhh! 😝

Is it Worth S$6.50 for this? Of Course Not. 超贵死了 😅
But Seriously though, what do you really expect when you make the Decision to buy an Obvious Gag Gift Chocolate 🍆 like this? A Michelin-Rated, Delicious Tasting, Super Value for Money 大雕 Meh? 🦅🍆 LOL!! 😄
