About this Taman Daya Pasar Pagi

Pasar Pagis are Morning / Day Markets. 🌞 Not a Term that we hear often in Singapore as most Singaporeans are more Familiar with Pasar Malam 🌜 (Night Markets) instead. Not a Very Large One, this Pasar Pagi stretches along a Road. 🛣️ Like all Pasar Pagis, it focuses more on being a Wet Market. Other than me, I don't see much Tourists or Singaporeans around. 🤔 The Customers mostly look like Local Folks. 🇲🇾

Despite being more Focused on being an Actual Wet Market, there are some Food Stalls available. 🍽️ I even see some Familiar Stalls that I've seen in other Pasar Pagis. 👍 It makes sense that they would rotate and set up business in Different Pasar Pagis Everyday of the Week. Prices mostly range from RM5.00+ to RM10.00+ onwards and are agar agar close to Regular JB Food Prices with maybe a Slight Mark-Up although there are some that are Noticeably Cheaper.

Booth Owners are Friendly and Polite, No Rowdy Behaviour. 👍 Overall feels Safe although of course, do take the usual precautions for your belongings especially when it starts getting Crowded.

Personally, I really like visiting Pasar Pagis because of the Sense of Community and how Lively it was. 😄 Singapore used to have such Traditional Pasar Pagis too in the Past, but of course all of them have since sadly been Eradicated and Gone Extinct in the Name of Progress. 😞

When you visit Malaysia, don't just hide in a Shopping Mall or eat only at Atas Cafes. If you are able to Wake Up Early to come JB, 🌞 come walk around 🚶and explore a Malaysian Pasar Pagi at least once to get a True Authentic Local Experience that is quite simply Unmatched. 🇲🇾❤️
