Budget Breakdown of how much I spent for this 2025 Solo 5 Days Taipei + Taichung Trip.

Pre-Trip Expenditure List:

✈️ Scoot Return Air Fare + 📝 Travel Insurance + 🧳 10kg Cabin Baggage / 0kg Check-In Baggage
(No Advanced Seat Selection) = S$341.74

🏨 5 Nights Taipei Hostel (苓旅-站前 Lin Inn TM) = TWD6956 (S$289.00)
🏨 2 Nights Taichung Hostel (Chance Hotel) = TWD1620 (S$68.00)

🛜 Szoove 7 Days Unlimited Data (2GB/Day) = S$9.50
🛜 Zero 1 Roam AsiaPac 8GB (30 Days) = S$8.00

🚊 KKDay Taoyuan Airport Transfer Train Round Trip to Taipei = S$12.90
🚊 KKDay High Speed Rail Round-Trip (Taipei > Taichung) + 48 Hours All-Day Taichung MRT Ticket = S$59.24

Total Pre-Trip Expenditure:

S$341.74 (Airfare) + S$289.00 (Taipei Hostel) + S$68.00 (Taichung Hostel)
+ S$9.50 + S$8.00 + S$12.90 + S$59.24 = S$788.38

Total Uber Travel Expenditure = (9 Separate Trips) = TWD2264 (S$91.51)

💵 Amount of Cash I have left = TWD12,234 (S$494.48)

This includes 🍽️ Food, 🚊 Metro Subway Top Ups, 🚗 Transport Fees etc.
Hahaha most of the amount was spent on Food obviously. I ate alot~ 😅

Final S$ Total I spent in Taiwan for 5 days is: 
(Pre-Trip) S$788.38 + (Uber) S$91.51 + (Total Cash Spent) S$582.07 = S$1461.90
