Ningxia Night Market 寧夏夜市

Address: No. 58號, Ningxia Rd, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan 103
Google Map Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VFhQKrR3i6fyXyni7
Official Opening Hours (Based on Google Maps): Everyday (5.00pm to 11.30pm)

Due to the Sheer Size of Taiwanese Night Markets, it is impossible to take Photos of Every Single Stall there although I have tried my best to take as much as I could. 📷

About this Ningxia Night Market 寧夏夜市

This Night Market is Near to Shuanglian Subway Station 雙連捷運站 on the Red Tamsui-Xinyi Line 淡水信義線 🚆 and its a Roughly 520m Straightforward 15mins Comfortable Walk to it. 🚶Alternatively, you can just take an Uber to this if you have Mobility Issues. 🚗

Located on a Public Road, at 4.30pm you can see in this Video how they Block off the Road and Start Setting up the Night Market Stalls. 👍 The Best Timing to come here would be from 6.00pm onwards when Most of the Stalls are Set Up.

The Whole Place have a Noticeable Touristy Vibe. 🤔
I would say roughly 60% Locals 40% Tourists when I was there. It can feel a Tad Crowded even on a Weekday. 🤔

The Night Market has a Simple Layout. Just 1 Straight Road flanked both sides with Food Stalls. 🛣️ Because the Road is blocked off to Traffic, you will not see any Scooters buzzing about. Only Pedestrians will walk along the Road. 🚶

Booth Owners are Friendly and Polite, No Rowdy Behaviour.
👍 Overall feels Safe although of course, do take the usual precautions for your belongings especially when it starts getting Crowded.

Most Food Prices feels like Close to Regular Taiwan Food Prices, although there are some with a Significant Markup. 💵 A Good Example would be a Cup of Papaya Milk 木瓜牛奶 that costs TWD70 (S$2.90) 🥤 in this Night Market is More Expensive compared to a Regular Drink Stall just a Few Steps down the Street like 波諦波諦鮮做飲料 Potty Potty that I reviewed previously which cost Significantly Cheaper at TWD30 (S$1.30). 🤔

As I looked around, there doesn't seem to be any Restroom Facilities available. 🚻 If you would like to Dine-In, some of the Larger Food Stalls have their Dedicated Tables and Chairs Section although of course you need to be their Customer to do so. 🍽️

Alternatively, there are some Public Park Benches on the Side of the Night Market as you can see in this Photo for you to comfortably sit down to eat. 🪑
