This is apparently a Famous Soya Bean Milk Brand that originated in Ipoh. 🇲🇾 The Actual Place is basically a Soya Bean Milk Stall that is located within the Wet Market Section of Bestari Bestmart. Credits to Loh Lee Nah from my Former FB Group for recommending this Stall. 👍 According to her, this Stall has been here for a Very Long Time already in Nusa Bestari. About 20 years I think based on a Video Reel I watched for this place. 🤔

The Stall itself looks like a Family Run Business manned by a Young Lad 👨 who is very Shy and his Mom 💁who is alot Friendlier and Welcoming. Its rather Popular too with Customers regularly coming and going. Everyone buys this for Dabao Takeaway. 🛍️

Protip: Obviously this is more for Takeaway, but if you would like to "Dine-In", there are actually some Public Benches within this Bestari Bestmart for you to Comfortably Sit Down and Enjoy the Items you purchase here. 👍

Other than all the Flavours that you'd normally expect from a Soya Millk Stall like this, the Signature Item on their Menu was something called "黑豆花" Black Tau Hway which is not something I've seen in SG Soya Bean Stalls at least. 🤔 According to them though, its just Basic Tau Hway lum with Gula Melaka. 😅 As I need to watch my Sugar Intake, I did not choose this of course and just got their Zero Sugar Versions.

I've made Homemade Soya Milk before, and I agree on their Claims that this is Homemade. 👍 Especially because the one i'm drinking is Zero Sugar, the Natural Beany Taste is Very Prominent. Almost like drinking a Liquid Tofu. 😅 

Not as Super Thick Creamy as Homemade, but certainly More Gao Gao than Most Soya Milk sold in SG Hawker Centers. 😋 Does not taste Diluted or gave me the impression that this was provided from some Supplier. 👍





Tau Hway (Hot, No Sugar) = RM3.20

Basically a Slightly More Solid Version of their Soya Milk actually. 😋 Eating this reminded me of 山田豆花 Yamada Beancurd that I reviewed previously in Taman Pelangi. 👍 Definitely Handmade, Soft and Smooth. This is as Natural as you can get. 👍

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM2.70 (S$0.90) for the Soya Bean Milk and RM3.20 (S$1.00) for the Tau Hway, they were Certainly Affordable and worth the Money. 👍 I can confirm that their Claim of this being Handmade is Legit. 👍 Although not as Super Rich Gao Gao as if you actually make it, they nevertheless do still taste Rich, Natural and Gao Gao, not at all Dilluted or taste like something provided by a Supplier. 👍 Especially if you order Zero Sugar to taste the Natural Flavour. Quality is Above a Typical SG Hawker Centre Type of Soya Bean Milk.

Both 山田豆花 Yamada Beancurd I had previously in Taman Pelangi and this place had Good Handmade 手工 Quality. 👍 To do a Price Comparison of the Tau Hway, Yamada Beancurd was RM3.00, while this place is RM3.20. According to the Friendly Stall Lady, their "黑豆花" that uses Gula Melaka is their True Signature and a Crowd Favourite. 👍 Unfortunately I am unable to review that as I need to watch my Sugar Intake. 😅 However, given how Natural their Base Soya Products taste, I'm sure it is also 差不到哪里去. 👍

No Kidding about how Popular this Place was, as I stood there and observed them while enjoying my Soya Milk / Tau Hway, I observed Brisk Business all the time with Customers coming and going. 👍 This at least can show how Popular this place is for the Locals at least. 👍 If you are in the Nusa Bestari Area looking for a Good Quality Handmade Soya Milk, but don't want to go to Yamada Beancurd in Taman Pelangi, I can recommend this place to give a try. I enjoyed my time here. 👍
