This Dim Sum Eatery looks like a Kopitiam, but is actually Air-Conditioned. ❄️ Although it wasn't Super Cold at 7.40am when I visited. 😅 Cleanly Maintained, Bright and Relatively Large The Background Music was some Karaoke Songs 🎵🎶 played via a Small TV. 📺

Staffs were Friendly, Polite and Mostly Kept to Themselves. One thing is that the Boss himself is a Very Active and Friendly Chap on hand to personally overlook the Operation. 😄 Although not full house on a Saturday Morning when I went, Business was still quite Brisk as I observed with the Amount of likely Local Customers regularly coming and going. 🤔

Interestingly, this place actually served up a Dish of Hot Water with Utensils for Customers HK-Style.
♨️😳

This is the 1st Kopitiam Based Dim Sum Eatery that I've seen that does this. This gave me very Fond Memories of Hong Kong indeed. 🇭🇰

The Chilli Condiment is the same "KG Koh" Brand served with
同心圆港式点心楼 Tong Dim Sum Restaurant that I reviewed previously with a Slightly Different Label. 🌶️

Its the Same Garlicky Sort of Chilli with a Slightly Elevated Spiciness.

All the Dim Sums were served in Typical Mr DIY Style of Faux Bamboo Plastic Containers. Interestingly, they were padded with a White Plastic Mesh instead of Parchment Paper. 🤔 This is the 1st time I'm seeing this used for Dim Sum.

While I applaud the use of Re-Usable Mesh like this, I do wonder if there is a Risk of this Plastic Mesh eventually Breaking Down due to Prolonged Usage and Heating? 🤔
Anyway, it took 2 Mins for the Kopi-O-Kosong, and 6 Mins for Everything Else to be served up together. Quite impressive that they serve all Dim Sums at once even without me requesting for it. 👍

Kopi-O-Kosong = RM2.70

Although looking like any Kopi-O out there, this had a Unique Intense Bitterness that reminds me of a Bittergourd rather than a Standard Coffee Bean. ☕🤔

Quite a Strong Brew that can certainly Wake Up Fresh. Unique Brew.

Siew Mai = RM7.50

Comes in 4 Pieces, decently wrapped, these were as Small as a Meatball. 🍡 Bite Texture is Crumbly, not Bouncy and there is a Initial Hit of Pigginess 🐷 when I bite in, but it quickly subsided. Not Overly Salty, the Whole Thing was a Decent Mix of Prawn and Pork. 🦐🐷 Decent Tasting if you are ok with a Siew Mai with a Crumbly sort of Bite Texture.

Har Gao = RM7.50

Also comes in 4 Pieces, this is perhaps one of the Smallest Har Gao that I've eaten. 😅 Skin is not Soft but luckily also Not Dry. I liked the Attempt at producing a Decent Looking Folds on it. 👍 One thing I noticed though is this Noticeable Oily Sheen on the Skin. 🤔

I'm guessing this Oil Spread is done to prevent them from sticking to each other during the Steaming Process? 🤔 The Filling within is 100% Prawn and it feels like they used a Whole Small Prawn for each one. 🦐 I do like that the Prawn Meat Texture is Bouncy to the Bite. Decent Tasting.

Char Siew Bao = RM6.50

Comes in 3 Pieces and I liked the HK 笑口 Smiley Open Mouth Style. 😄 Dough Skin was Decently Fluffy and Light. The Filling within is the Ooey Gooey Sweetish Type that I liked that is not Overly Sweet. 😋 I especially like how Thick the Inner Filling Zhup was. This was Easy and Light to Eat.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM2.70 (S$0.90) for this Kopi, this was a Pretty Unique Tasting Coffee that tasted like Bittergourd 苦瓜. 🤔 I reckon it must use a Unique Sort of Coffee Bean for this. I do like this for its Unique Taste, although I'm sure this Kopi taste will be Divisive for some people. ☕ Even the Boss also mentioned that some People don't like this Bitterness. 😅 Unique Tasting, I guess you will have to try it yourself to see if this is a Coffee Bitterness that you can accept. ☕🤔

At the Price of RM7.50 (S$2.30) for both Siew Mai and Har Gao, they are both Very Small Meatball sized. 🍡😅 I wouldn't call these Very Elite Tasting, but they do still taste Decent and Acceptable for me. For the Price they're asking for them, I feel they're reasonable.

At the Price of RM6.50 (S$2.00) for 3 CSBs also felt reasonable. Although they were on the Smaller Side, I thought they were still Decently Made and I do like that they are the Sweetish Ooey Gooey type that I prefer. 😋
Overall, I am quite OK with this place. Especially for an Indoor Air-Conditioned Kopitiam Eatery, ❄️ I thought the Prices they're asking for their Dim Sums are Reasonable. 👍 Although not Super Amazing, I thought they were Decent. Their Kopi was the one that was the Highlight for me. ☕ First time taste a Coffee Bean that tasted like a Bittergourd.

As for my Final Test, I am pleased that they did not rush to keep my plates. 🍽️ According to their Friendly Boss, they have also been around for 9 Years so far, so obviously they must be doing something right to be able to stick around for so long. 👍
I enjoyed my time and have no issues with this Place. 👍 I can recommend this to give it a try if you are around the Area craving for some Dim Sums. 😋
