This is a Modern Kopitiam Franchise that has been around for quite awhile in Jalan Tan Hiok Nee at least from 2023 I think but somehow I never visited. Thought I'd give it a Visit since I'm doing a Re-Review of the Area.

Located next to Kopiloco, it has an Aircon Section within that for some reason feels Very Claustrophobic perhaps due to no Windows, Enclosed and Sealed Off. Although Air-Conditioned, it wasn't particularly Cold in the Morning.
Most of the Staffs were Myanmar Folks and while they're Polite and Reserved, but they aren't the Very Friendly Welcoming Type, just going about their Day I suppose. Anyway it took 1 Min for the Kopi-O, 2 Mins for the Eggs, and 5 Mins for the Sambal Toast. Everything was served up within 5 Mins.
B801 Kopi-O-Kosong = RM2.80
Served in a Fairly Small Cup, the Aroma Fragrance from this is Quite Good. Rich and Gao Gao with a Robust Full Body and No Siap Siap, this was a Fairly Strong Coffee to wake you up Fresh for the Day.

K001 2 Kampung Eggs = RM3.60
Listed as "Kampung Eggs" on the Menu, I'm no Egg Connoisseur, so I don't know if these were really Legit Kampung Eggs. Heck are there even any Real Kampungs in JB in Today's Age? Compared to Regular Eggs though, I thought they were Larger than Usual.
No Issues with the Cook Standard as they are made with the Correct Half-Boiled Consistency. Even without any Sauces, I thought it tasted Clean, Rich and Creamy. Not Bad.

T009 Sambal Egg Toast = RM4.90
Quality of the Sambal
Ordered this because I always like to test the Sambal Quality. Malaysia makes the Best Sambals after all. This one here has a Haebee Onioney Texture and Flavour. The Haebee isn't like Very Gao Gao type but its there. Also not very Spicy.
I liked the Slight Sourish Note it had that was Good to perk up your Appetite early in the Morning. I also liked that they smartly used a Slice of Lettuce so the Sambal won't soak through the Toast. As decent as the Sambal was however, the Egg was a Flat Piece of Omelette, not the Ooey Gooey Yolk Runny Type that I prefer.

What I'm disappointed is that they follow SG Style of Bread Toast which is to slice 1 Slice of Bread into Half. Ugghh... ๐ While this makes the Toast Crispier, it also reeks of Cost Cutting and Scrimping. I come Malaysia to eat Malaysia's Version of Thick Toast, not to eat SG version of Giam Siap Thin Toast. ๐
Eating Everything together, the Egg Omelette forms most of the Taste Profile, followed by a Crunch of the Toast. This is then followed by the Sambal. Decent Tasting, but not for People who prefer those Very Gao Gao Sambal type of Taste.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM2.80 (S$1.00) this was a Pretty Decent Cup of Kopi-O.
The Brew I had that day tasted Robust Gao Gao and Full Body and was Fairly Strong to wake me up Fresh for the Day. Not Bad.
The 2 Kampung Eggs at RM3.60 (S$1.20) I thought was also not bad as I felt they were Noticeably Larger than Usual.
I cannot confirm if they are Real Legit Kampung Eggs, but they were Clean, Rich and Creamy even without any Sauces.
The Sambal Egg Toast at RM4.90 (S$1.60) was abit of a Mixed Bag. I liked the Sambal itself especially with a Slight Sourish Note that helped perk up my Appetite.
Malaysia seldom make Bad Sambal after all. The Egg Omelette they used wasn't my Preference as I prefer those Ooey Gooey Yolk type. Nothing Wrong with it though, just a Different Style.
The Main Issue I have is the Bread because they follow SG Style to slice 1 Slice into Half. Ugghh..While this makes the Toast Crispier, it also reeks of Cost Cutting and Scrimping.
ๆไปไนไธๅญฆๅปๅญฆๆฐๅ ๅก Thin Thin style of Giam Siap ้ขๅ . ๐ Then again, this Touristy Jalan Tan Hiok Nee caters more to Singaporeans, so I can also understand why its made like this. Hopefully it's just only this Eatery that does it. If every other JB Eatery also follow suit do this kind of Thin Thin Toast to Cut Cost ๅฐฑๅฎ่ไบ. ๐

Overall a Decent Breakfast Place even though I didn't like their SG-Styled Thin Giam Siap Toast. I do like the Coffee here, although I wish the Staffs here Smile abit more. Compared to Kopiloco more Airy and Open-Concept that I also visited, this Place felt More Enclosed and even abit Stuffy.
Don't let my Average Score deter you from the Place. If you're in the Jalan Tan Hiok Nee Area, is ok with the Prices on their Menu, this is still a Place I can recommend to visit. It is Popular with Customers as I've observed.
