This was a Cafe Eatery shared by my Friend Lee Nah through a Facebook Reel Video made by a Typical Overly-Enthusiastic Food Influencer so I thought I'd give it a try. This is the Link to the Video: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1JLBsAe7Km/
Located among a Row of Shophouses in a Relatively Quieter Part of Johor Jaya, it is a Modern Cafe and there weren't much Customers within on a Weekday Afternoon at 1.30pm. Air-Conditioned but Not Particularly Cold. Staffs were Polite but Reserved and mostly kept to themselves.
The Music Background were originally some Kpop Tunes but later changed to CNY Music. Pretty Simple and Humble Cafe Vibe. One thing in particular is the Huge Menu Selection they have. Really a Huge Variety of Dishes offered as you can see. Having said that, they seem to be facing some issues with their QR Code so I had to manually order from the Staffs. Anyway it took about 5 Mins for the Bubble Tea, and 10 Mins for the Hotplate Noodles. Everything was served up within 10 Mins.

D1 Bubble Milk Tea (No Sugar)
(+RM4.00 if ordered in a Set. Original Price RM13.00?)
Ordered this because it is part of a Set and since its been awhile since I"ve drank Bubble Tea, I figured why not. Served in a Decent Sized Cup, not a Plastic Cup and was correctly made with Zero Sugar. Noticeably Milky, that Classic BBT Milk Tea taste is there but subtle. More Milky than BBT actually. Acceptable but nothing particularly special.

H12. Hotplate Teriyaki Udon Noodles With Chicken Chop = RM17.50
THIS is the Actual Dish that I was looking forward to try here. In the Facebook Reel Video, it looked Very Presentable and Bubbling with a Hotplate of Noodles Bubbling Away as you can see in the Video. There is also immediately a Distinct Aroma of Bonito Flakes.
The Whole Dish is assembled with a Layer of Egg Omelette at the Bottom. This is followed by a Generous Heap of Udon Noodles, then Topped with a Crispy Chicken Cutlet, followed by a Sprinkling Garnishing of Bonito Flakes. Of course the Whole Thing is lum with a Thick Gravy Sauce.

Quality of the Gravy/Sauce
You actually have a Choice of either Black Pepper or Sweet Teriyaki and I chose the latter. Noticeably Sweet, this tastes like a Mix of Pre-Made Supermarket Type of Teriyaki Sauce that is thickened with Cornstarch.
Quite Gao Gao amount of Teriyaki Sauce they spammed in this too. If you like your Teriyaki Sauce to be the Sweeter type, you'll probably enjoy this more. Nothing Gourmet about this, I'd describe this as a Very "Faux Japanese Food Stall in a Food-Court" type of Teriyaki Sauce Taste.

Quality of the Crispy Chicken Cutlet
Made out of a Decent Sized Butterflied Chicken Thigh that is breaded with Panko and Fried. Very Standard Food-Court type of Fried Cutlet Breading, not a High-End Tonkatsu level of Cutlet.
I found the Batter to be a Tad Thick but for a Food-Court Level of Cutlet I guess its alright. Amount of Actual Meat was ok, very standard Fried Taste, not Too Chickeny. The Bottom of the Cutlet was touching the Slightly Wet Udon Noodles so its a Little Soggy but also Not Too Soggy.

Quality of the Udon Noodles
The Amount of Udon given in this is Pretty Generous. If you are someone who has been visiting Supermarket often, you will probably recognize this as a Typical S$2.00 type of Udon Pack. I think they used a Whole Pack in this.
Boiled Soft and Stewed with Cabbage and Carrot, I do like that its stewed softer than usual, providing a Soft and Smooth "Kueh-Like" Texture that easily slides down my Throat. Although nothing Special Culinarily, the Combination of the Sweet Teriyaki Sauce Gravy and Soft Veggies made this Very Warm and Comforting to eat. It was a Pity I had to limit my Carbs Intake but I could have easily polished it off.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM4.00 (S$1.40) was a Reasonable Price to pay for this Very Standard Classic Cup of Bubble Milk Tea. I thought it tasted More Milky than Usual but that's just me.
If you are looking for a Bubble Tea and can get it cheaper as a Part of a Set, sure why not. As long as you set your expectations, I feel this is alright.
At the Price of RM17.50 (S$5.80) isn't particularly cheap for this Hotplate Teriyaki Udon Noodles. You are paying Near SG Foodcourt Price for a Faux Japanese styled Food Court Level of Dish which is what this is. Not a Very Culinarily Complex or Very Sophisticated Dish, this is something that you can also replicate at home if you have ownself been doing Home Cooking for awhile.

The Most Important Component of the Dish is certainly the Gravy which is a Typical Supermarket Teriyaki Sauce type of Gravy mixed with Water and Thickend with Cornstarch. Whether you like this Dish or not depends on whether you like this Gravy. I find it abit too Sweet for me, although not those Overly Sickeningly Sweet type of Level. If you can accept a Classic Food-Court Level of Teriyaki Sauce, you will probably have no issues with it.
Despite how Simple and Culinarily Un-Sophisticated this Dish was though, I thought the Whole Thing is Nicely Put Together. I especially appreciate the Bottom Base Egg Omelette because they could have easily scrimped and not give this item in order to cut cost. The fact they didn't do that, was much appreciated.

Although each Component was Made Simply, its the Total Combined Whole that did it for me. Abit of Egginess/Protein from the Omelette, some Soft and Tender Udon Noodles as a Carb to soak up the Gravy and Topped with a Crispy Chicken Thigh Cutlet for even more Protein that also delivers a Crowd Favourite Crunch Factor. This Dish hits all the Notes for a Very Humble, Simple, Filling actually kindda Nutritious and Visually Impressive Cafe Meal.
I hope they added more Veggies for More Nutrition, but their Addition of Cabbage and Carrots was not bad. Obviously not the Most Healthy Nutritious Meal in the World, but its a Good Effort for a Cafe. Filling and Unpretentious, this is a Classic Warm and Comforting Cafe Food. The Dish does get Jelak the more I ate though due to the Sweetness of the Gravy so I would recommend to share this if you can. It would be perfect for 2 people to share.
Don't let my Average Score deter you from this Place. While I wouldn't specifically come to JB just to eat this, but if you are in Taman Johor Jaya and craving for some Simple Warm and Comforting Food, I can still recommend to give this Place a try if you are Ok with the Prices on their Menu and also set your Expectations on the Quality.
