This is a Fast Food Fried Chicken Franchise that can be found in some Shopping Malls in JB and the one i'm reviewing is at the Basement of Angsana Mall. 🐔🍗 To call it Large is such an Understatement, it takes up at least 2 Big Lots! 😳 Can't imagine how expensive the Rental must be. 💸

The inside of the Place is furnished pretty much like a Typical Fast Food Place. 👍 Bright, Cheery and Spacious. The Staffs are Friendly and Polite and mostly keep to themselves. As I observed, other than Lunchtime where it could be slightly Crowded, most of the time it was Rather Quiet even on a Saturday. 🤔

Ordering of Food is thru a Standard Automated Kiosk, although do take note that they will call out your Number in Malay when its time to collect. 🤔

The Various types of Fried Chicken Flavours they have are called Richicken, Firechicken and Crispy Chicken. 🐔🍗  Unfortunately, there are No Options to Customize the Type of Fried Chicken Flavour you want in any of their Combo Options. 🤔 So for this Review I could only choose 1 Flavour to do a Review for. This lack of Customizability is Very Strange for a Fast Food Fried Chicken Place like this. 🤔

I also noticed, that other than Mineral Water, there are no other options for Zero Sugar Beverages. 🤔 Heck I'm very surprised they don't even have the Regular Expected Brand of Soft Drinks like Coke, Pepsi or 7-Up. 😳 The Only 2 Types of Drinks they have are something called "Fruitarian Drink" or "Pink Lava". 🥤🤔

Amusingly their Trash Disposal follow Taiwan and Japan where you need to Sort and Dispose instead of dumping everything away. 🚮

This is Very Unusual to see for a Fast Food Restaurant in Malaysia. 🤔




🐔🍗 Combo 1 Richicken = RM11.50
Chose this Richicken Flavour because it is the Name of Eatery after all. 😅

The Combo consists of:
🧀 Cheese Sauce
🌶️ Chilli Sauce
🍗 1 Piece of Richicken
🥔 1 Small Mash Potato
🥬 1 Small Coleslaw
🥤 1 Drink (Fruitarian Drink)

🧀 Cheese Sauce

This is obviously a Dish of Highly Processed Cheese. 🧀🤔 Not sure if this is Nacho Cheese or not, but the taste of this reminds me of that Malaysian Super Rings Cracker Snack. 😅 Really taste exactly like Super Rings.

I know this is a Fast Food Styled Processed Cheese Sauce and I shouldn't expect too much, but even so, I'm still not a Fan. 😅 I mean I'm ok with the Actual Super Rings Crackers itself, but having this taste in this Cheese Sauce makes it taste abit Wierd and Cheap if it makes any sense. 🤔

🌶️ Chilli Sauce

Sweetish type with a Noticeable Vinegary Sourish Tinge to it. 🤔 Spiciness is a Tad Elevated but doesn't bite. 🌶️ That said, Even for a Fast Food Type of Chilli, I felt the Artificial Flavouring is abit much for this one. 🤔

🍗 1 Piece of Richicken

I'll admit I'm not at all impressed with the Small Piece of Chicken I got. 🤔 Its a Small Breast Piece, and as you can see, the Appearance looks Dry AF. 👎 It does look nicely baked with what looks like Spice Flakes scattered on it. There are No Delicious Fried Aroma that you'd expect from a Fried Chicken. 🤔 Not Overly Oily to the Touch and Meat is really Dry AF. Heck its so Dry, I actually found it hard to swallow. 😛 The Meat itself has Little to No Marination at all. 🤔


Dipping it into that Cheese Sauce 🧀 makes it slightly easier to Swallow but also cheapens the taste even more with that Super Rings Taste. 😅 It makes it taste like as if I'm eating a "Meaty Super Rings" if it makes any sense. 😛 

Dipping it into the Chilli Sauce 🌶️ also doesn't help. Because the Chicken itself does not have a Solid Foundation, 👎 all you taste is the Vinegary Chilli Sauce overtaking the Entire Taste. 🤔

I'm sorry but this was a Very Below Average Quality Fried Chicken. 👎 It was so Bad that I didn't even bother to finish the 1 Piece I had and I discarded it after a Few Bites. 🚮 Maybe it was lucky that they didn't have any Option to have all 3 Flavours of their Chicken. 😅 Because if even their 招牌 Richicken tastes so Below Average, I feel the other Flavours probably also 好不到哪里去. 👎 Urghh this was a Waste of Calories. How can you mess up Fried Chicken like this? 🙄

🥬 Coleslaw

Luckily they didn't mess this up. 😅 Very Standard Tasting Coleslaw. 🤔 Sweetish but Not Overly So. I do like the Noticeable Larger Cuts of Veggies in this. Decent but also Unremarkable. 🤔 At least it helped as a Palette Cleanser to get rid of that Awful Dry AF Fried Chicken. 😅

🥔 Mashed Potato

Unlike the Usual Brown Colour Gravy you'd expect from a Fast Food Level of Mashed Potato, this had a More Unique Cream Colour with Bits of Black Pepper Flakes. 🤔 The Whole Thing interestingly smells like Mushroom Soup, 🍄 and the Gravy actually Tastes like Mushroom Soup. 🍄🤔

The Potato itself has a Creamy Savoury Real Potatoey Taste that I actually enjoyed. 🥔👍 The Whole Thing is actually Deliciously Creamy with a Slight Spicy Hit from the Black Pepper Flakes in the Gravy. 😋 Just imagine eating Mashed Potato slathered in a Mushroom Soup and this is pretty much what it tastes like. 🍄🍲 After the Disappointing Meh Tastes for the Other Items, this was a Surprising Find that I feel even exceeds the Mashed Potato from other Fried Chicken Franchises! 😳

Dipping that Richicken into this Mashed Potato STILL doesn't salvage how bad the Chicken tasted. 😅
So you can imagine how bad this Chicken Quality is. 👎

🥤 Fruitarian Drink

Interestingly served like how BBT is usually served with a Plastic Top Covering. 🤔
Tastes like your Typical Average Artificial Mango Flavoured Sugar Drink. 🥭

This is Very Sweet so avoid this at all costs if you are watching your Blood Sugar. 🤔 I only took a few sips of this before I discarded it. 🚮

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM11.49 (S$3.50) is not worth it for this 1 Piece Chicken Combo Meal. 🙅‍♂️ The Complete Lack of Customizability, Lack of Zero Sugar Beverage Options (other than Mineral Water) were very surprising to find for a Fast Food Styled Fried Chicken Restaurant like this. 🤔

The Worst Offender is that Pathetically Small, Dry AF, Zero Marination Fried Chicken that drastically brought the Entire Score down. 🍗👎 This place narrowly missed my Lowest Score because I felt the Staffs were Decent Friendly enough. Amusingly, the Only Thing that I thought was worth to try is their Mashed Potato 🥔 which is Much Better Tasting than it has any right to be. 😅 The Only Takeaway I got from this Place is that Mashed Potato pairs Very Well with Mushroom Soup. 🍄😅

I personally don't recommend this place, but I actually won't mind coming back to eat their Mashed Potato again. 😅
Hahaha what the heck? This is a Fast Food Fried Chicken Restaurant where their Mashed Potato taste Better than their Fried Chicken! 😅
