WARNING: This Food Review will contain a Very Lengthy Description of the Entire Full Process of the Live Processing of a Snake. 🔪🐍 There will also be some Photos of the Process 📷 although Highly Censored. 🤔 No Graphic Image Depictions will be shown, 🙅‍♂️ but the Text Description of the Process can be be Quite Graphic.

Needless to say, this will be a Very Lengthy Food Review. Perhaps One of my Lengthiest Food Review to date. 🤔 This Review may also veer towards some Melodrama as I describe my Complete Thought Process and Psychological Feel about the Whole Event. 😅 If you are Uncomfortable or feel that this is Boring, Feel Free to skip this Review. 👍

Although there are No Particular Disgusting Images, the Photo Collection will show Exotic Non-Mainstream Animals Consumed as Food such as a Turtle Dove and Snake. 🕊️🐍 There will also be Photos of Snake Blood 🩸 and Venom ☠️ and Videos of Me Drinking Them.
If you are the Squeamish type, DO NOT view the Photos or Videos in this post. 🙅‍♂️ If you are Uncomfortable at any Point about this Food Review, just Stop Reading and Walk Away. 🚶 Do not come Screaming, Shouting, Condemning or Protesting in the Comments Section. Thank You.

📋 Here is the Full Menu of the Eatery/Restaurant.
Prices are Accurate as of the Date of the Post.

As Someone who Actively Seeks out Exotic Foods Overseas, I of course did my Research on this. 🤔 This is not my First Time Eating Snakes as I've had them in Forms of Stews and Soups 🍲 over 20 Years ago in Malaysia 🇲🇾 or More Recently Last Year in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 as you've seen my Past Review for 蛇王熙 Seh Wong Yee

Found this Place via Google Maps in Taichung so I thought I'd give them a Try since their Menu seemed Extensive. 🤔
This is Not Some Shady Back Alley Place, but actually Quite a Fairly Large Eatery with their Signboard Proudly Showing Pictures. And if you can read Chinese Words, you can see in the Photo that they definitely aren't hiding what they're selling. 🐍

There are at Least 3 Gigantic Big Posters clearly showing and depicting their Entire Snake Cuisine Menu even before you step into the Eatery itself. 👍
Interior of the Eatery

I'd describe the Interior of the Place as "Lived-In". 🏠 The Main Kitchen Cooking Area is right near the Entrance, and as you Walk In, the More you feel that this Place feels more of a Traditional Chinese Medicine sort of Layout. 🤔

The First Impression I got was that I have stepped into Someone's Very Old-School 1970s Looking Homestead instead of a Restaurant. 🏠 Just look at the Photos and Video to see what I mean. 📷

There are 2 Large Family Sized Dining Tables in the Middle followed by a Long Row of Side Table with Benches. 🍽️ There is a Long Mirror on the Side and the Whole Wall were Plastered with Old Newspaper Clippings and Old Photos of Past Customers and Possibly Celebrities patronizing the Place. 🤔

The Whole Place is not Air-Conditioned and No Fan either making it Slightly Warm and Humid. 🤔 Luckily because of the Outside 19C Weather it was still Bearable. ❄️😅 There is abit of Musty Smell as is expected of a Very Old Eatery like this, but surprisingly not as Strong as I expected. There are some Mosquitoes buzzing about, so do take note of this. 🦟

Other than Me, there were No Other Customers at 5.00pm on a Weekday when I was there. 🤔 The Whole Place is run by what looks like a Very Small Family. Just the Father, 👨 Mother 👩 and their Teenaged Daughter. 👧 The Father is a Friendly Fellow and Conversational and he is the Main Owner. His Teenage Daughter is the Main Cook who cooked All the Dishes and it feels like she will be taking over her Dad's Business in the Future. 👩‍🍳 Her Mom does the Cashier Duties. 💵

Being a Teenager, the Daughter is understandably a Tad More Shy and Socially Awkward but still Polite and Friendly. 😄 Her Dad and Mom are Very Friendly and Welcoming. 👍 Just because they sell Snake 🐍 and other Exotic Foods and do Live Processing, that does not mean that this is some Stereotypical Evil Shop in a Hollywood Horror Movie. 📽️ This is Really Just a Very Decent Regular Family just making an Honest Living doing what they do to put Meals on the Table like the Rest of Us. 🍽️

Ordering is Simple. Just tell them what you want from the Menu. 📃 They'll then Prep and Cook the Items. 👩‍🍳 The Whole Process gives me the Feeling I'm eating at someone's House rather than in an Actual Restaurant Setting. 🏠

The Daughter will go over to the Kitchen, and you can literally see her taking out Ingredients from the Fridge, Cut, Prep and Cook just like how Someone would do in their Actual Home Kitchen. ♥️ Occasionally I can see her Dad at her side helping and giving her some Advice. A Real Father and Daughter Moment. 👨👧 So Cute! ♥️

It took 20 Mins for the Stir Fried Snake Skin, 23 Mins for the Stir Fried Snake Meat, and 33 Mins for the Fried Turtle Dove. 🕊️ Snake Blood, 🩸 Gall Bladder and Venom ☠️ were served up almost immediately after the Live Processing which I will describe later. 🤔

🕊️ 炸斑鳩 Fried Turtle Dove = TWD180 (S$7.30)

斑鳩 translates to Streptopelia or more Commonly known as Turtle Dove. 🕊️ It is considered a Species of Bird in the Pigeon and Dove Family. (Image and Info Source: Wikipedia

The Only Time I've even come across the Word "Turtle Dove" is that Christmas Carol "12 Days of Christmas". 🎅🎄 You know that one where the Lyric goes: "On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me, Two Turtle Doves" 🕊️🕊️ that one? Yea thats the one. Well, I guess I know how it tastes now. 😅

As you can see when its served up, its Fried in a Light Cornstarch Batter interestingly with Basil Leaves 🌿 giving it a Very Nice 香气. 😋 Actually the Whole Aroma smells No Different from a Regular Taiwanese Styled Fried Chicken Cutlet with a Nice Fried Oil 油香味. 🍗😋 Not a Very Big Bird, its about Slightly Larger than a Palm-Size.

When you bite into it, you will immediately recognize that you're eating some sort of Poultry. 🕊️🤔 It doesn't taste like Chicken though, its a Very Clean Non-Gamey Poultry Taste that doesn't taste like any Poultry I've eaten before, except I definitely can tell it is certainly a Poultry. 🤔 I have eaten Fried Pigeons in Hong Kong before and even though Pigeons and Turtle Dove come from the Same Family, they taste completely different. Pigeon has a Familiar Taste of Duck Meat 🦆 while Turtle Dove does not. 🤔

The Meat is Well Marinated in Salt and Pepper and Not Overly So. 🧂 Just the Right Amount of Salt and Pepper. 👍 It is also surprisingly Meaty despite its Small Size. 🍗 I really like the Fried Oil they used which really gave it a Nice Fried Fragrance. 😋 I feel this will Pair Very Well with Beer. 🍺 This is a Very Acceptable "Fried Chicken" Sort of Taste that I reckon Most People will be able to accept. 👍

🐍 生炒龍衣 (小) Stir Fried Snake Skin (Small, Spicy) = TWD200 (S$8.50)

Now we start to move into the More Exotic Hardcore Dishes. 😅
I find it Particularly Amusing that Snake Skin is written as 龍衣 (Dragon's Coat) 🐉 to give a Slightly More Regal Name and Lessen the Impact that you're actually eating a Snake's Skin. 🐍😅

When you order this, they will ask if you want it Spicy or not. 🌶️ Spicy is what they Recommended and its not really that Spicy, just a Mild Spiciness that doesn't Bite. 🌶️  Fried with Basil, 🌿 Onions 🧅 and Garlic, 🧄 this actually Taste Good and I really do mean it because of its Surprising Texture. 😋

I've eaten Snake several times already, and its usually a Very Tough and Stringy Meat, but this Snake Skin here is Completely Different. 👍 Tender, Slightly Gelatinous and Chewy, this actually has a Bite Texture that is more akin to 黑木耳 Wood Fungus Mushroom. 🍄🤔

Sure, the Skin looks Horrific if you know what it is, 😅🐍 but if you don't, you might actually think that this is Fish Skin actually. 🐟 Eating this is really like eating Wood Fungus Mushroom 🍄 thats drenched in a Savoury, Slightly Salty, Slighty Spicy Gravy. 😋 There are Many Pieces of them for you to enjoy too. Would not taste out of place if eaten with a Bowl of Rice actually. 🍚

🐍 麻油蛇肝 (小) Sesame Oil Snake Liver (Small) = TWD200 (S$8.50)

Cooked with Lots of Big Slices of Ginger, 🫚 Capscicum 🫑 and Goji Berries, 🍒 this had a Noticeable Savoury Gingery Gravy. There are Not alot of Liver Pieces, maybe about 15 in Total.
Appearance wise, they're Small with a Long Shape. The Colour is the reminiscent of Cooked Liver but it also sort of looks like Cooked Fish Roe too. 🐟

When Biting into it, I thought it had the Texture similar to Pig Intestine 猪肠 with a Slight Hit of Liver Taste. 🐷🤔 Not Super Livery, this Liver Taste is Considerably Very Mild when compared to Pig's Liver. Imagine eating a Soft Gelatin Chewy Casing with a Very Light Livery Taste. 🤔 This was Savoury Saltish and tastes like something that would Pair Well with some White Porridge 白粥. Not Bad Tasting. 👍

🐍 生炒蛇肉 (小) Stir Fried Snake Meat with Veggies (Small) = TWD300 (S$12.50)

Stir-Fried with Nai Bai Cai 奶白菜, 🥬 the Pieces of Snake Meat were Small Sized but there were alot of them. 🐍 They look like Little Pieces of Fish Pre-Marinated in a Spice Mix. 😅 The Veggie is Crunchy and Fresh, abit on the Oilier Side but still ok. And again, I am surprised by the Texture of this Snake Meat. 👍

Snake Meat is a Really Tough and Stringy Meat. 😅🐍 People who have eaten before will know what I mean. What is Most Surprisingly is that the Meat here is Completely Tender and Soft! ♥️ In fact, its So Tender, I'd compare the Bite Texture more like Lean Pork 🐷 but the Actual Meat tastes like a Fish. 🐟

Slightly Peppery Spicy and Savoury Salty. For some reason, I thought the Spice here tastes abit like a Milder Version of the Spicy Sambal used in Fried Kangkong. 😋 If you don't tell someone this is Snake Meat, chances are they probably won't be able to tell and think this is some sort of Fish. 🐟 Culinarily, I thought this was Very Well Made. 👍

And now we move into the Even More Hardcore Aspect of this Review

Before I move on to Describe and Review how Snake Blood, 🩸 Venom ☠️  and Gall Bladder Tastes like, I have to describe the Actual Live Processing 🔪🐍 itself, so you will have a Better Context. 🤔

Important Disclaimer:

When I came to this place, I had originally only planned to order the 4 Dishes you just seen. But they do have a Secret Menu which you can see here. 📃🤔 One of the Item in this Menu is called "现杀蛇血膽" which means the Live Processing of a Snake. 🔪🐍The Father is the one who is doing this Live Processing. When I requested for him if I could take Photos and Videos of the Process, 📷🎥 he was Noticeably Very Reluctant to do so. 🤔

He only agreed after some Coaxing, but only on the Condition that the Video NOT be uploaded to Social Media as it is considered illegal to do so. 🙅‍♂️ I gave him my Promise, 🤞and told him even the Photos will be Censored because I myself also don't want to get in any Censorship Troubles. 😅

I do have the Full Complete Video of the Whole Process, 🎥 but as a Promise to him, I will NEVER release this on any Social Media Platforms 🙅‍♂️ as I don't want to get him and his Family into any Trouble. 🤔 If you are interested to come here and manage to take Video or Photo of the Process, I implore you NOT to share any of this Live Processing on any Social Media Platforms. 🙅‍♂️ This is a Very Nice Shop and they are a Very Nice Family doing an Honest Business. 👍 Don't get them into trouble just because you are Too Eager to showoff to others like this. You might also land in Trouble yourself, so consider this as a Gentle Reminder and Warning. 🤔

To drink Snake Blood, Gallbladder, Venom you have 3 Choices in that Menu. 🤔
These below 2 are already Pre-Prepared Concoctions. No Live Processing Involved.

🐍 綜合蛇血膽 (Small Cup) TWD100 or (Large Cup) TWD200
🐍 純正蛇膽 (Small Cup) TWD300 or (Large Cup) TWD500

and then there is this Option...

🔪🐍 现杀蛇血膽 (小尾) Live Processing (Small Snake)
(Include Snake Blood, Gall Bladder, Venom) = TWD1000 (S$40.50)

This is the Most Expensive Option at TWD1000 💵 but you will have a Live Snake processed infront of you together with the Fresh Extraction of the Snake Venom, ☠️ Blood 🩸 and Gallbladder.

At this Point in Time, I looked at the Menu for a Very Long Time. 🤔 There were No Upselling and they did not encourage me to pay for the Most Expensive one. 👍 I appreciated that they left me alone with the Menu to let me decide on my own. I originally really just wanted to drink the Pre-Prepared Concoctions but I was also very intrigued to be able to witness a Live Processing and Extraction. 🤔 At the same time I also fully understand that My Choice will actually Actively End the Life of a Living Animal. 💀

My Mind was Racing and I kept asking myself "Should I? or Shouldn't I?"
After what seems like an Eternity, I made my Final Choice.
😐

There were No Smile. My Face was Expressionless. This was not a Laughing or Joking Matter.
🙅‍♂️ I have decided at that Very Moment, a Living Animal will End its Life for me, and I will record its Final Moments. 💀🎥 I just went up to tell them of my Decision. It felt Cold, Calculated and Distant, Almost Mechanical. 😐 No One was Smiling or Laughing, everyone seemed to know that this is a Very Serious Moment. The Air Felt Tense...

During the Live Processing

I was brought to the Back of the Eatery by the Father. This Back Area is Very Utilitarian and Messy, and looks exactly how you would imagine an Animal Slaughterhouse to look like. 🔪 Not the Most Cleanest Place in the World, and Definitely not for People who are Extremely Concerned with Hygiene and Cleanliness. 🤔

But if you're concerned with Hygiene, you really have no business to be entering such an Eatery in the First Place no? 😅 Anyway the Father was the one doing the Live Processing. He opened up a Small Metal Cage and I came face to face with the Snake that is going to die for me. 🐍

It was a Fairly Long and Thick Cobra that Flared its Hood. 🐍😳 According to the Guy, it is Grown on a Snake Farm and Imported from Indonesia. 🇮🇩 As if knowing its Fate, the Cobra angrily hissed and attempted to try to lunge at me. 🐍😳 Luckily the Guy expertly held him down. His Movements were Well Trained and looked like he is Very Used to this and has been doing it Regularly for Many Years already. 🤔

After doing any Necessary Pre-Prep, he wiped the Snake's Body with a Cloth and got to work while I Filmed or Took Photos Silently. 📷🎥 As I was taking the Video, I appreciated that he took the time to explain every Step of the Process and what he is doing, 🗣️ which is a Big Part of why I could relay this information to all of you. 👍

Every Step of the Live Processing.
You can refer to the Photos 📷 for the Highly Censored Screen Captures of the Actual Video I took. 🎥

1) The Cobra is First Held down and Milked for its Venom. 🐍☠️ He milked it with a Pre-Prepared Shotglass of Clear Liquid which I would later learn is 高粱酒 at 58% Alcohol. 🍶

If you have ever seen National Geographic Videos of Snake Venom Milking, it is the Exact Same Process. I'm very impressed he did it without wearing any Gloves. 👍

2) While still being Held Down, he took a Utility Scissors ✂️ and cut through the Snake Skin near the Head. 🐍 There were No Blood surprisingly. 🤔 Snake Skin feels like a Glove on the Muscle of the Snake itself.

Blood doesn't flow when the Skin is Punctured. ✂️ Blood only started Gushing Out when he located a Particular Vein? Jugular? which he cut through. 🩸 There was alot of Snake Blood. It was a Deep Dark Crimson.🩸 I would say about 2 Shotglasses worth. Once the Blood is Drained, he strung up the Snake on a Pre-Built Metal Hanger Rack.

3) While being Strung Up on the Metal Rack, I could still see the Huge Gaping Wound 🩸 where the Initial Cut was made. Occasionally some Small Amounts of Blood would Spurt out of it, 🩸😳 which I believe is caused by Every Beat of the Snake's Heart. 🫀🐍

4) Next he used his Utility Scissors and made a 2nd Incision at the Lower Part of the Snake. ✂️🐍 Again No Blood when Skin is Punctured. There are a Bunch of Raw Intestines that burst out of this Incision 😳 and he quickly and expertly located the Gallbladder.

Its a Very Small Black Ball Sack about the Size of a Large Bean. 🫘 Soft and Held by a Very Thin Layer of Flesh Tissue. He brought it over to the Container where he extracted the Snake Blood. 🩸 All he did was cut and puncture this Small Black Ball Sack and there is a Blood Like Liquid that flowed out and emptying immediately. 🩸

This is actually the End of the Extraction and I got what I paid for. 💵
But there are still Further Processing of the Snake. 🐍 So Let us Continue. 🤔

5) At this Point, the Snake is Noticeably Furiously Struggling and Squirming on the Rack with 2 Huge Gaping Wounds 🩸 and its Raw Intestines Hanging Out. Some of its Blood was still occasionally spurting out with Every Beat of its Heart. 🫀

This is the Part where you may have heard of some Old Uncle type of Stories that claim that if the Snake is Furiously Struggling and Squirming, 🐍 that means it has a Strong Vitality 生命力 which in turns means that its Blood and Gallbladder will be Extra Potent. 🩸🤔 This is the Exact Stage where this happens.

For a Full Minute at least, it was really Struggling and Squirming. 🐍
This was the Part where it actually became Uncomfortable to watch because obviously it was in Extreme Pain. 😔
I really wanted to stop the Video right here but I forced myself to continue. 🎥

6) Next, the Man took his Utility Scissors ✂️ and Made a 3rd Incision at Roughly the Middle of the Still Squirming Body 🐍 and took out another Bunch of Internal Organs and Located and Extracted its Still Beating Heart. 😳🫀

According to him, the Heart will continue to Beat for at least 1 Hour or So. It was Surreal to see the Raw Snake Heart Pumping Vigorously as if it was still Alive. 😳🫀

7) Even without its Heart, the Body of the Snake was still Squirming and Moving. 😳🐍
He took his Scissors and drew a Long Cut along the Whole Snake Body and Extracted the Rest of its Internal Organs and dumped them into a Pail below the Snake's Body. 🪣

It was at this point, where the Snake's Body finally went Limp and Noticeably Lifeless. 💀
The Body Coiled up and it No Longer Squirmed and Moved Anymore. 💀

The Rest of the Snake's Carcass, Intestines and Stuffs were kept in a Freezer to cook other Dishes such as the ones I've eaten. 🍽️🐍 The Whole Live Processing took Very Fast, about Slightly Less than 7 Mins in Total. 🕑

🩸🐍 蛇血蛇膽 Snake Blood, Gallbladder

For Snake Blood and GallBladder, 🩸 this is Mixed in a Container that has 35% Alcohol 米酒 Chinese Rice Wine (Or Sometimes Japanese Sake as he mentioned) 🍶

The Amount of Blood extracted is about 2 Shotglasses Worth. 🩸🥃 Despite how Thick and Crimson the Snake Blood looked, it doesn't smell Bloody at All. 🤔 In fact I thought the Aroma of the 米酒 Rice Wine was much more Prominent. 🍶

When drinking this down, it felt No Different from Drinking a Shotglass of Regular Vodka. 🥃 It burns your Throat sure, but if you have Drunk Vodka before, its about roughly the Same. 🤔 Still No taste of Blood when Drinking. 🩸 Its only after its Down your Gullet, that will you be able to detect a Very Faint Aftertaste Coppery Presence of Blood. 🩸 This was Very Clean Tasting.

Many Stories of People Drinking Snake Blood 🩸 claim that you will immediately feel a Heat emanating from your Body, 🔥 but I feel the Heat is more from the Alcohol Effects of the 米酒 Rice Wine 🍶 than the Actual Blood itself. 🩸🤔
What I do feel is that I have consumed the Lifeforce of a Living Being. 🩸
Drinking Snake Blood feels more Psychological than Anything. 🤔

☠️🐍 蛇毒 Snake Venom

As mentioned during the Live Processing, it was Milked in a Shotglass pre-prepared with a 58% Alcohol Level 高粱酒. 🥃 This Particular Alcohol is something I've heard of before but never tried. I understand this is a Very Popular Drink among China 🇨🇳 and Taiwan. 🇹🇼

高粱酒 itself is Completely Clear and Transparent. 🍶  When the Venom is Milked into it, ☠️ it took on a Noticeable Cloudy Look and made the Whole Concoction look like Barley Water. 🤔

Because this is Snake Venom, ☠️ obviously you cannot drink it Neat and it needs to be Dilluted abit. 😅 There are 2 Ways to Drink This. Regular and Psychopath. 😈 Being the Nutcase I am, of course I Tried Both Ways. 😅
☠️🐍 The Regular Way
Mix the Snake Venom ☠️ and Dilute it with the Snake Blood, 🩸 Gallbladder 米酒 Concoction 🍶 and Drink Them Together. The Taste is how I described it above. Abit like Drinking Vodka Neat. 🥃

😈😈😈 The Psychopath Way
Just drink this Venom and 高粱酒 Concoction Mix Directly
WITHOUT further Diluting it into the Blood, Gallbladder, 米酒 Concoction ☠️🍶

WARNING: This Psychopath Way is as Close to Drinking Snake Venom Neat already. ☠️
Needless to say, this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and some people might not be able to take it. 💀
DO NOT TRY THIS WAY because you might actually DIE. 💀 Don't be a Dumbass like me. 😅

How does drinking Snake Venom the Psychopath Way taste like? ☠️🐍😈

According to the Owner, some people do drink like this but it is Not Recommended 🙅‍♂️ because it will Make Your Throat Sore. Some People may also not be able to take the Stronger Concentration of Snake Venom like this. ☠️🐍

Wooo! This REALLY hits Different! 😳 When drinking this down, there is a Very Powerful Burning Sensation that burns ALL the way down my Gullet.
🔥🔥🔥 I don't know if this is because of the 高粱酒 itself or the Venom, but this Fiery Heat is Intense! 🔥🔥🔥 If you have ever drank a "Flaming Lamborghini Cocktail" before, it is something very similar. 🔥🍸🔥 Machiam like drinking Liquid Fire. 🔥 Image Credit: TheFoodieBunch.com

Once down, you will feel a Very Noticeable Dryness in your Throat and a Level of Instant Caffeine High comparable to Drinking a Very Strong Intense Cup of Espresso Shot. ☕ Not sure if its the Venom ☠️ or the 高粱酒 🍶 thats causing this. 🤔

After about 30 Mins, your Throat will actually Start to Feel Sore. 🥵 Not a Small Sore, but an Actual Legit Sore Throat type of Sore. 🥵 At this point, I actually panicked a little and I wondered if I had Completely F*cked it up and Knowingly Poisoned myself. ☠️😳 I was worried that I may actually DIE on this Trip due to ingesting Snake Venom almost Neat like this. ☠️😅

Luckily My Throat Never Swelled Up and I could still talk Normally. 🗣️ This Soreness lasted for at least 24 Hours before I felt my Throat went back to Normal. 🕑😳 I'm glad to report that other than that 24 Hours Throat Soreness, I felt No Other Side-Effects, No Pain, No Fever. 🌡️ Obviously I didn't die, or I wouldn't be here presenting this Review to you already. 😅 Phew! This was an Intense Experience!! 😅☠️ What happens in Taichung, stays in Taichung! 🇹🇼😅

According to the Owner, the Proper Way to Drink this Whole Concoction 🐍 is to Mix Everything Below together:
Snake Blood 🩸 + Gallbladder + Snake Venom  ☠️ + Rice Wine Alc 35% 米酒 🍶 + Gaoliang Wine Alc 58% 高粱酒 🍶

Again I must Emphasize. DO NOT ATTEMPT to drink Snake Venom via the Psychopath Way. 😈☠️🙅‍♂️ While I may have survived, you might not. 💀 I will not be responsible for any Medical Issues you might have if you drink it this way. 🙅‍♂️

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of TWD180 (S$7.30) for a Fried Turtle Dove 炸斑鳩 🕊️ this is Not Cheap but also Not that Expensive to eat what is Essentially a Smaller Fried Spring Chicken. 🍗

It is actually Fried Very Nicely with a Good Taste similar to eating Taiwanese Chicken Cutlet. 🐔  Delicious and would Pair Very Well with some Ice Cold Beer. 🍺 Worth to Order. 😋

At the Price of TWD200 (S$8.50) for the Stir Fried Snake Skin 生炒龍衣 🐍 is also Not Cheap, but I thought still tasted Very Unique especially since I've eaten Snakes before. This is the 1st Time I've eaten a Snake Skin like this that is so Soft and Tender. ♥️

Amount given is Acceptable for the Price and the Dish has a Conventional Homecook Taste and actually don't taste bad at all. 😋 This one is also Worth to Order. 👍

At the Price of TWD200 (S$8.50) Sesame Oil Snake Liver 麻油蛇肝 🐍 again is Not Cheap, but like the Snake Skin, I thought Culinarily was done well. 👩‍🍳

If you are someone who is Ok with the Taste of Liver itself, sure go ahead and order this. 👍 I thought this one would pair nicely with some Porridge actually. 😋

At the Price of TWD300 (S$12.50) for the Stir Fried Snake Meat with Veggies 生炒蛇肉 🐍 is the Most Expensive of the Bunch, but again I feel this is Ok for the Price. 👍

Really its the Superb Softness and Tenderness that I have never ever tasted before for a Snake Cuisine. 😋 Taste is also Very Conventional Chinese-Styled Homecook Taste. 🏠

At the Price of TWD1000 (S$40.50) to witness the Live Processing of an Actual Living Snake 🔪🐍 and to Drink its Snake Blood, 🩸 Snake Venom ☠️ and Snake Gallbladder Fresh is obviously the Most Expensive. 💵 But then again, ordering this is No Longer an Issue of Affordability anymore. 🤔 Personally, I feel it was worth it for me to be able to Witness Something that I can NEVER ever hope to ever experience in Singapore. 🤔

For the Mere Price of S$40.50, the Life of a Actual Living Animal was Terminated just like that for me. 🐍💀 Although I was not the one who did the Processing, I was the One who decided its Final Fate. 😞 I'll be honest, thoughout the Whole Process from the Deciding whether to go ahead or not, to Witnessing the Actual Processing, 🔪🐍 I was Trembling A Little.
😳 There was Abit of Shock, Abit of Fear and Abit of Guilt. 😞

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eating a Pre-Prepared Food is one thing, but witnessing a Live Processing is another. 🔪🐍 This is NOT like Choosing Seafood in a Fish Tank 🐟🦀🦑 only to have it brought to the Back Kitchen and Processed 🔪 while you wait. The Feeling is Completely Different. 🤔

If you have never witnessed an Actual Live Processing of a Living Animal before, know that it is a Choice that you will never be able to walk back ever again. 🔪😞 Different People will have Different Views on this. For some people, this may well Shock them into Never Eating Meat ever again. 🙅‍♂️
To you this costs S$40.50, 💵 but to that Animal, its Life will be Ended by just S$40.50. 🤔
Sorry if this Sounds Too Overly Melodramatic. 😅 But if you do decide to come here to witness this,
think very carefully about your Decision and treat this Seriously. 😶

This is not some "Bro or Dare Moment" among some Friends for you to Joke or Laugh about.
🤔
Please Understand that your Choice WILL Actively End the Life of a Living Creature 🔪🐍
and you will be there personally to witness its Final Moments as its Lifeforce slowly fades away. 💀

As for me, I have mentioned this before and I understand that as a Human Being, No Matter what your Personal or Religious Beliefs may be, 🤔 you cannot deny that We Humans are the True Apex Predator of this World. ⚔️🌏

No Other Creature however Large, Fearsome or Venomous, are as Scary as Humans. 😞 With enough time and effort, EVERY Creature's Life comes under our Control. ⚔️ For those of us who cannot give up Meat, all we can do is to be Responsible and Not Waste Food which is probably the Best Respect we can give to the Animals that have given their lives up for us. 👍

Will I ever try this again? 🤔

Now that I've witnessed the Live Processing of a Snake, 🔪🐍 I will still continue to partake in Snake Cuisines in the Future although I will not request for another Live Processing. 🙅‍♂️ Having said that, if given the Chance to witness the Live Processing of Another Different Animal, I will not mind giving it a Go. 🤔 I certainly will not attempt to Drink Snake Venom ☠️🍶 almost Neat like this anymore that's for sure! 😅

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was a Very Authentic Eatery that certainly has some Age run by a Very Nice Decent Family. 👍 I am Especially Very Impressed that the Teenage Daughter possessed such a Good Culinary Sense and produced such Good Quality Tasty Dishes. 👩‍🍳 Her Father have taught her Very Well. 👍

Her Cooking gave me a Very Personal, Very Homecooked Soul to it. ♥️ This was Really Very Impressive to find for someone so Young. ♥️ In fact, I gave her a Sincere Compliment and Big Thumbs Up after the Meal. 👍 She appreciated the Gesture. This Young Lady will go far with her Culinary Skills already at this Level. 👍👩‍🍳

Her Father who handled the Live Processing was Professional, Well Trained and Extremely Skilled at what he did. 👍 I appreciate him slowly explaining each step as he did the Processing. ♥️ It was all done at a Professional Level. 🔪🐍 This Man absolutely knows what he is doing and feels like he has been doing this for Many Years already. 👍

This was One of the Most Interesting, Educational and Culinarily Impressive Highlight of my Taiwan Taichung Trip 🇹🇼 that even questioned my Very Moral Fiber. 🤔 As such, I have Absolutely No Issues giving them My Highest Top Score. ⭐ Coming to this Place is No Longer just about the Eating.

This was a Truly Unique Once in a Lifetime Experience that I will never forget!
♥️
