This is a Very Popular Wet Market that Almost Every Local in Taichung recommended me to come visit. Unfortunately I couldn't make it that Early and Most Stalls were Closed by the time I reached. 😅 It was Nevertheless still an Interesting Visit. I've tried my best to take photos of Every Stalls available when I was there. 📷
If you are someone who is interested in Exploring Local Wet Markets during your Overseas Travels, do come Early. 🌞 By 9.00am when I was there, Most Stalls were Closed. 🤔 I reckon 6.00am to 7.00am would probably be the Best Timing as is the case for Most Morning Wet Markets.
Restrooms are Available that are Free of Charge to use. 🚻 Although Most Stalls were Closed, there were still a Couple of Food Stalls available and some even had Very Long Queues. 🤔
This Place has Alot of History as shown by a Small Photo Gallery. Formerly known as Shintomichō Market, it was built by the Japanese Colonial Government back in 1917. 🇯🇵 (Source: Wikipedia) If you are a History Buff, you can google it to find out more information. 👍
The Main Wet Market Area can feel like a Maze with Plenty of Winding Corridors and Twisting Paths. 😅 There is One Central Area that you can use together with this Picture Map I've posted in the Photo to get your Bearings. 📷
There is a Unique Chinese Temple named 武德宮 built within that is dedicated to 關聖帝君. 🛕 It looks Very Old and Historical and certainly has some Age to it. ❤️
There is also a Food Court located at One of its Entrances with Various Eats, although I also noticed Very Interestingly alot of them actually Focus on Braised Pork Rice 台湾卤肉饭. 🤔 It was interesting to see a Whole Bunch of Stalls selling the Same Thing all focused in a Food Court like this. 😅
