About this Yizhong Street Night Market 一中街夜市
This Night Market is Quite Out of the Way and is Not Conveniently Near to any Subway Stations. 🚆 The Nearest Train Station is actually the Taichung Main Station 臺中火車站 which is Roughly 1.5km, 30mins Walk to It. 🚶It is near to Zhonghua Road Night Market 中華路夜市 that I reviewed previously which is Roughly 700m, 14 Mins Walk to it. 🚶 Alternatively, you can just take an Uber to this if you have Mobility Issues. 🚗
This is probably the 2nd Most Popular Night Market after Fengchia Night Market 逢甲夜市 in Taichung. 🎉
There seems to be 2 Sections to this Night Market divided across the 一中街 Road (The Name where this Night Market got its name from) 🛣️
One Side is More Popular and Very Youth Centric. 🎉 The Foods here are also More Trendy and Modern. It was Raining and there were Still a Noticeable Amount of People on a Weekday Night. 🌧️
The Whole Place does have a More Touristy Vibe. 🎉 I would say roughly 70% Locals 30% Tourists when I was there. There is a Unique Japanese Theme Central Area with a Faux Torii Gate. ⛩️ You'll know it when you see it.

I thought it was Super Adorable to find both an Angel Chicken Cutlet 天使鸡排 😇 and a Devil Chicken Cutlet 恶魔鸡排 😈 together like this. 😅 Looks like Angel is More Popular.

The Other Side feels Noticeably Quieter with Lesser Crowds. 🤔
This Quieter Side seems to be where All the Stinky Tofu 台湾臭豆腐 Food Stalls are Gathered Together. 🤢
There is 1 Stall called "手工臭豆腐" that is Particularly Popular as you can see from my Photo. 🤔
Even when it was Raining it was Surprisingly Crowded with Many Local Young Taiwanese. Stinky Tofu is not just a Fad or Trendy Food. Alot of Taiwanese regardless Young or Old actually love to eat it as I've noticed. 🤢😅

There are Alot of Scooters buzzing about the Same Road that Pedestrians walk on. 🛵 So don't be surprised if you see one of them just graze past Mere Inches from you. Do be careful especially if you bring Children to this place. 👦👧
While there are No Official Dining-In Locations, you can Occasionally Sometimes Find Random Unused Tables and Chairs 🪑around for you to sit down comfortably to eat your Food. 🍽️ Public Restroom Facility is Available in one of the Buildings that I've found at the Popular Youth Centric side of this Night Market. 🚻

来来水果
绿豆沙牛奶 = TWD60
Felt Thirsty while Exploring This and when I saw a Family Patronizing this Stall, I thought I'd give it a try for their 绿豆沙牛奶. 🥤 Just like 木瓜牛奶 Papaya Milk I reviewed previously in 波諦波諦鮮做飲料 Potty Potty that I always see Taiwanese enjoy, 豆沙牛奶 or Tau Sah Milk is perhaps the Next Most Popular Drink that I see. 🥤😋 As I don't drink such BBT Drinks often, I have no idea if we have such a Thing in Singapore (or Malaysia). 😝

Run by a Friendly and Polite but Quiet Boss that mostly keep to himself. He won't ask you for any Sugar or Ice Level when you buy this. 🤔 It seems that Everything is Sold Default as is. 🥤 It only took him like 2 Mins to have the Drink served up. 👍

绿豆沙牛奶 = TWD60
This was Quite a Large 660ml Cup. 🥤 The Drink is Exactly what its Name Suggests. The Main Core Taste Profile is a Very Thick and Creamy and Gritty Tau Sah Taste 😋 followed by a Faint Aftertaste of Fresh Milk. 🥛 Thick and Gritty, the Texture for this is like a Slightly Less Thicker Version of Milkshake. 🧋
Certainly a Sweet Drink, I feel the Sweetness for this is like 25%? 🤔 The Drink is Cold, and Ice is only abit. 🧊 There are No Attempt to Scrimp or Cut Cost by giving Too Much Ice and Too Little Drink. 👍 95% of the Cup is the Actual Drink itself. Just like 木瓜牛奶 Papaya Milk, this was a Very Filling Drink because you're basically drinking Liquid Tau Sah here. 😋
At the Price of TWD60 (S$2.50), I feel this is Affordable for what it is 👍 although of course I'm sure there will almost Certainly be More Affordable Versions if you buy it from a Regular Drink Shop instead of from a Night Market. 😅

It goes without saying that if you are watching your Sugar Level, you really should not be touching this Drink. 🙅♂️ If not, feel free to indulge. This was a Very Delicious Drink and the First Time I'm drinking Liquid Tau Sah like this. 😋 Not at all Jelak and Very Tasty and Filling.
I have No Idea if such a Drink is Available in Singapore and Malaysia, 🤔 but if not, I do recommend to give this a Try if you're here in Taiwan. 🇹🇼 Again, this is a Relatively Common Drink that can be found in Most Drink Shops so you don't have to purposely come to this Stall.
