Located in a Somewhat Secluded Corner of the Mall, there were still a Crowd of Customers on a Friday Evening at 7.00pm. 👍 This is a Chicken Rice Concept similar to Grand Chicken Rice that I reviewed previously in Danga Bay. I understand that this franchise used to have a Branch in Singapore but have since left the Market. 🤔 Not surprising considering how 杀人放火 Crazy High SG Rental Prices are. 😅 I salute their Bravery for even attempting though. 🫡
This Eatery is Cleanly Maintained has the Vibe of a Fast Food Place. The Staffs are Friendly and mostly keep to themselves. 👍 There is a Delicious Savoury Aroma of 白斩鸡 in the Air. 😋 The Chicken hung on their Rack looks Nice consisting of both Steamed and Roasted. I thought their Roasted ones 烧得不错买像不错 👍 I love the Cute Adorable Utensils Basket they have on Every Table thats shaped like a Chicken! 😅🐔
It took 6 Mins for the Pepsi Black Drink and Rainbow Dessert, 9 Mins for the Veggie Side Dish and Kway Pie Tee, and 11 Mins for all the rest of the items. Total took 11 Mins for Everything to be Served Up. Not Bad Timing considered the Elevated Amount of Crowd although there is a Major Goof Up that was committed which I will describe later. 🤔

😋 2 Pieces of Nonya Pai Tee
🥬 1 Choice of Veggie Side
🥤 1 Cup of Soft Drink
🍧 1 Rainbow Delight Dessert
As you can see, there are alot of items included. Everything from a Drink, to even Individual Choices of Meats, Veggie Side Dish and even a Dessert. This Whole Set felt like a Complete Meal Package. 👍 I will describe each of the Components in Detail.
There are a Total of 3 Condiments Available.
Chilli and Minced Garlic
This Chilli has a Strong Presence of Ginger and has a Sharply Sourish Saltish Hit. 🌶️ The Spiciness stings Hard and Fast at first but will eventually subside although it will still linger awhile on Tongue long after the Initial Spice Assault. 🌶️ If you are used to Spicy, you will probably be able to tahan this level of Pain. This is a Good Chicken Rice Chilli. 👍
Minced Ginger
Another Classic Chicken Rice Condiment, this was Minced Very Fine with a Good Base of Chicken Oil. 😋 No Raw Ginger Taste when biting into it. I like the Savoury Chicken Oil Base they have in this one.
Dark Soy Sauce
This doesn't come by default and you have to specifically ask for it, which I thought was a little unusual. 🤔 Thankfully its free of charge. Its Thick and Viscous with a Sweetish Taste. More Sweet than Salty but also not Overly Sweet. This is a Decent Dark Soy Sauce Quality for Chicken Rice. 👍
🥣 Chicken Soup
This had a Decent Chickeny Taste that is also Not Overly Chickeny or Overly Salty. 👍 Not Bland and Diluted but also Not Too 重口味. This was a Decent Acceptable Bowl of Chicken Soup.
🍚 Chicken Rice
The Amount of Rice given is Decent and has a Nice 油香味 Fragrance. 😋 It has a Yellowish Hue to it and Bite Texture is Slightly Niam Niam, Slightly Oily but in a Good Way. 👍 I feel this has a Slightly More Oilier Base compared to Singapore Version. 🤔 This feels like a "Nasi Minyak" version of Chicken Rice. 🤔 There is also a Presence of Salt within but also Not Overly Salty. A Slightly Different but still Decent and Acceptable Quality of Chicken Rice. 👍
🐔 Chicken Meat
I didn't ask for Specific Parts to test what they would give by Default, and it looks like a Breast and a Wing. 🍗 Amount of Meat is Impressive for the Price. They didnt use much Cucumber to artificially make the Amount of Meat look more. The Actual Amount of Chicken really is Very Reasonable. 👍 This is not a Super Fatty got Globules of Fat under the skin type of Chicken. 🐔 This Chicken is Not Obese, but definitely still an Overweight Chonky Chicky. Hahaha! 😅
Even though Breast Meat, it had a Soft Tender "Powdery" Type of Bite Texture. Not Overly Chickeny, the Pieces were Meaty and Juicy. 😋 I also really like that its cut in Relatively Large Bite Sized Pieces and not Pathetic Thin Slivers. 👍 The Sauce they lum for this is Sharply Salty in a Good Way and uplifts this Chicken Platter. 👍 Not an Amazing but still Overall a Very Decent and Above Average Quality Chicken.
🥬 Veggie Side Dish
This was the Major Goof Up that I mentioned earlier in the Review. 🤔 You have a Choice of either Ipoh Taugeh or Kai Lan and I chose the Latter as you can see in the Screenshot of the Order I made, and they sent up the Wrong Veggie Side. 🤔
But yea do take note that this Eatery will commit mistakes such as this. 🤔 They definitely need to look into this Lapse of Service if its committed even on a Weekday when its Not Overly Crowded. I'd imagine the Service Level will drop even further if its on a More Crowded Weekend. 🤔
Moving on although a Wrong Order, I didn't mind as I was ok to give Ipoh Taugeh a Try since this is a Famous Ipoh Dish that I've heard of, but never eaten before. 😋 I've never been to Ipoh myself so I don't know if this is Authentic or not. Amount of Taugeh given is Not Singy and Reasonable for the Price. 👍 The Taugeh are cooked well and don't have any Overly Raw Taugeh Taste. Bite Texture is Slightly Softened but not Nua Nua and I feel is 刚刚好 with a Slight Veggie Crunch. 😋
The Zhup in this Dish is Prominently Sweetish but Not Overly So. There is also a Slight Hit of White Pepper. 🤔 This Zhup is the Main Component forming the Core Taste Profile. The Whole Dish really relies on it 100%. 🤔 Decent Tasting, this does not taste like your Typical Cheap Caifan type of Taugeh Dish mostly because of the Element of White Pepper. Not Oily at all, this Dish is more Saucy. Not Bad Decent Veggie Side Dish. 👍
😋 Kway Pie Tee
There are 2 of them and I thought they were considerably Smaller in Size when compared to Regular KPT. 🤔 The Outer Skin has a Delightful Crispy Crunch. Not the Super Crispy type but more of a Soft Crunch with a Nice Little Taste of Oil. 😋 The Mangguang Filling within were Soft and Tender with a Sweetish Taste. Combining the Soft Crunch of the Skin with the Softness of the Mangguang makes this a Decent Tasting Finger Food Side Dish. 😋
🍧 Rainbow Dessert
This is of course the Dessert in the Set and the Pieces within are actually Pieces of Colourful Nata De Coco Cubes. 😋 The Juice that accompanies this has a Sweet Canned Pineapple sort of Taste. 🍍 Very Sweet obviously but Refreshing. I like how they used Nata De Coco instead of using Cheaper Jellies. 👍 Because of how Colourful and Sweet this is, I'm sure Kids will surely love this. 👦👧

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At a Total Combined Price of RM19.90 (S$6.10) with Service Charges and Taxes Included, this was Absolutely Worth the Money for the Huge Amount of Items you're getting! 👍 That said, this is Slightly More Expensive compared to Grand Chicken Rice RM13.80 (S$4.20) in Danga Bay that I reviewed in the Past. 🤔
To be fair though, that Set only consisted of Chicken, Rice and a Soup while this one had alot more Items and is located in the More Popular City Square Mall. 🤔 Everything from a Drink, to Carbs, to Protein to Veggies, Sides and even a Dessert to round off the Meal, this was a Full Complete Meal all by itself. 😋
Quality for Everything was Very Decent. 👍 Sadly I had to control my Sugar Intake so I could only take 1-2 Spoonfuls of the Dessert and Half of the Rice. 😅 What was Disappointing however was their Goof Up when serving up the Wrong Veggie Side that I ordered. 🤔 Granted it was somewhat Crowded during that time, but it was still a Weekday and not Full House. I reckon this might be worse if it was a Weekend when its more Crowded, so you do need to be prepared for such a Mistake to Occur. 🤔 Such a Pity this Error was committed.🤔Having said that, while I feel the Quality of Chicken Rice is Above Average, this is not Some Elite Top High End Quality. 🤔 As I mentioned, the Chicken here are Overweight, No Obese. 😅 If you are the type that is Extremely Particular about your Taste for Chicken Rice, this place is definitely not for you. 🙅♂️ For Everyone Else, I reckon this will be a Very Agreeable Reasonable Standard of Chicken Rice and especially so at this Price Point. 😋👍 Have you eaten from this Eatery in JB City Square Mall?
