This was a Relatively Large Eatery located very near to KSL City Mall. Actually, its closer to KSL Hotel Entrance. This place feels like a Mini Hawker Centre as this Eatery shares the space with 2 others namely "Guan Dessert" and "Da Cheng Lok Lok" with the latter seemingly the Anchor Tenant here. 🤔
Even though they open for Business at 8.00am (on a Friday), there were at least 4 Tables of Customers (including me) waiting for them at 7.50am giving their orders. 🤔 By 8.00am at least 7 Tables were filled but it was still easy to find a Seat as a Solo Diner. 👍

When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a Very Genki Elder Lady who seems to be the Owner. The Staffs are Friendly and Warm and are the type that talks loudly and sometimes in Canto. 😅 They remind me of a Very Similar Vibe for some Food Stalls that I've seen when I was in Hong Kong.

As I sat near the Cooking Station, the Smell of Frying and Soup Aroma as very Fragrant as they Sizzle and Bubble in the Pot. 😋 I'd recommend to sit near this Cooking Station if you can. Although...it also wasn't such a good idea to sit near as I encountered a Sllight Altercation Incident among the Staffs which I will describe later in the Review. 😅

As usual, I ordered the Standard BKT Order without any additional Addons or even any Drinks, and I'm happy to see that they did not show any 死人脸. 👍 As mentioned, usually BKT Stalls will show a 死人脸 if you were to not order any Addons for their BKT and you will be treated like a Low-Valued Customer. Luckily not this place. 👍 The BKT took 7 Mins to be served up. Not Bad Timing I suppose.
招牌 (大骨) Signature Bone BKT (No Rice) = RM26.00
This is One of their Signature Dishes here, and you can have the choice of either Big Bone 大骨 or Small Bone 小骨. 🦴 When this arrived, I was immediately impressed by the Big Bubbling Claypot, and especially by the Big Fat Leg Bone and the Generous Amount of Meat within. 😋 I think its a Leg/Shin Bone? And I'm glad that they are not Stingy with their Meat Portion. There are legit alot of Meat here. 🍖

The Soup Broth is not Klang Style, yet it is also Not a Simple Soy Sauce base. Its a Saltish Braised Taste with a Very Slight Tinge of Herbal Aftertaste. 😋 No idea what Herb is used but its Nice and it worked well here. 👍 This Herbal Taste is Faint, but its presence can still be felt. Not Overly Salty and I easily drank it dry. This is a Nice Tasting, Above Average BKT Broth. 😋

The Pork Meat is not those 煮到烂烂 type of Soft, but it is Tender and yields easily to the Bite. 😋 Really Nice and Meaty and Very Clean Tasting, Absolutely Not Porky at all. Skin is not melt in Mouth but is still Soft and Nice. This was a Very Decent Quality Pork Meat. 👍

They didn't scrimp on the Rest of the Ingredients too as there are also some Beancurd Skins, Lettuce Leaves and Tau Pok too. 👍 I have no issues with the Quality of this BKT. The Soup Quality was Decent, and the Portion of Ingredients given are Reasonable. 👍

Very Heated Discussions and Complaints among the Supervisor and her Staffs 🤔
Being that I was seated nearest to the Cooking Station I could very clearly hear what sounds like a Supervisor complaining and venting to her Junior Staffs about a Staff taking MC. 🤔 Although the initial venting is about this Staff who took MC, the Supervior got more and more heated 🔥 as she complained and she started dragging issues such as "Why an Item was not Thrown Away despite it being Spoilt?" etc etc. 🤔
I even managed to record this Altercation and I thought hard whether I want to release this, 🤔 but ultimately decided not to because this could potentially cause people to lose their jobs. Listening to how Heated the Supervisor sounded, 🔥 I think she just Completely Lost Control of her Temper. 🔥 I feel this could be handled better, as venting like this right in front of Customers don't reflect well on the Business. 🤔 Especially so when she mentioned about "An Item that is not thrown away even though it was spoilt" which implies there may be some Food Safety Concerns? 🤔 Who knows.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At a Total Combined Price of RM28.85 (S$8.80), this wasn't exactly a Cheap Bak Kut Teh but that said I felt the Amount of Meat given was still reasonable for the price. 👍 Included in the Price are even some Beancurd Skins, Veggies and Tau Pok which are usually sold seperately as DLC. 😅 The Soup Broth while not Klang-Style was Warm and Comforting and Decently Delicious as I could easily drink it dry. 😋 It tasted Especially Nice as an Early Morning Breakfast.

Having said that, I feel the Supervisor could do better in managing her Temper. 🔥 Completely losing control and venting angrily at her Staffs right infront of Customers doesn't reflect very well on her and the Business. 🤔 I decided very hard whether to score this as an Average or Recommended due to her, but ultimately decided to still recommend this because this BKT does taste decent and the Staffs Altercation had nothing to do with me. 👍
But it could have been a Much Higher Score and a Better Dining Experience had the Supervisor not vented so publicly in front of Customers like this. 🤔 Hahaha, I guess you can say I was Unlucky? (Or Lucky?) to have witnessed this Incident? 😅 If you decide to dine here, I hope you have a better experience than I did.
