If you are a regular visitor to JB, you will surely notice that for some reason, Malaysians REALLY love this Auntie Anne Pretzel Franchise. This Franchise is also available in Singapore but its popularity pales in comparison to Malaysia. No kidding, even on Weekdays you can usually find super long queues for this. Do note, they do not accept Cash but no worries, I had no troubles using my Debit Card to tap and pay even as a Singaporean. I've never really had this before, and being somewhat of a Chocoholic myself, I naturally chose the most Chocolatey one of them all: "Choco Eclair". Of course they have various other flavours too.

It calls itself an "Eclair" but its not really a true Eclair as there are no cream piped into the Fried Dough. It is what it is. Basically a Plain Fried Pretzel Dough dunked in Obscene Decadent Liquid Chocolate. It tastes exactly how you'd imagine a Fried Dough dunked in Liquid Chocolate tastes like. Holding and eating this was quite a challenge as the Chocolate Sauce was just oozing and dripping all over the place. If you don't want to look like an Uncivilized Barbarian with Chocolate all over your Nose, don't make the same mistake as I did and choose something that's easier to eat. LOL! Would I try this again? Probably not. But go for it if its something that you enjoy.
