As I was researching on Eateries to eat in Sutera Mall, I came across this Chicken Rice Stall 🐔 that seems to have Very Good Reviews on Google Maps. 🤔 It is really just another Very Regular Chicken Rice Food Stall in the Basement Food Court although as I walked around, I observed that there are many Diners eating this. 🤔 It was easy to spot too because of the Unique Origami Paper Boat Plate they serve their Food in. 🛶😅
The Stall itself interestingly not only sells Chicken Rice, but also some Traditional Malay-Styled Kuehs. 😋 The Staffs are Friendly and Polite, and are mostly run by what looks like Myanmar? Indonesian? Folks with a Young Malay Lady Supervisor. I'm glad they could converse comfortably in English. 👍 Ordering of Food is just like how you'd normally order in a Regular Food Court. Order, Pay, and take a Buzzer and Collect your Food when Buzzer beeps. It took about 8 Mins for mine.

Beautifully Presented especially with that Adorable Folded Origami Paper Boat to hold the Rice, 🛶 the Whole Set looks like a Decent Amount of Food for the Price. 👍When it comes to Chicken Rice, there are 3 Major Components that Many People usually look for Namely: 🌶️ Chilli, 🍚 Rice and 🐔 Chicken. I will describe each of them in detail.
🌶️ The Quality of the Chilli
Looks exactly like how you'd expect a Regular Chilli for Chicken Rice to look like, but has a Very Uniquely Fresh and Fruity Aroma. 😋 I was immediately impressed when I tasted it because it had a Very Noticeable Taste of Orange Juice. 🍊 Tasted Very Fresh and Fruity with a Spicy Bite. 🌶️ The Spiciness is Elevated but doesn't bite hard although it does linger abit.
I'd describe the taste of this Chilli as a Fruity Mix of Lime and Orange Juice? 🍋🟩🍊 I also thought this had a Very Thai Influence sort of taste. 🇹🇭 This is the First Time i'm tasting such a Fruity Perky Chilli for Chicken Rice. 🌶️ Unusual and Unconventional but totally works. Excellent Chilli! 😋
🛶 The Presentation of the Rice.
Before I even describe this Rice, the way its presented already floored me. 😅 The Origami Paper Boat is made using the Standard Familiar Brown Food Wrapper Paper that you'd normally see when you Dabao Food. 🛶 This is Actually a Very Smart Move 👍 because not only does it immediately scored Very High in Creativity and Presentation, they can also save money and effort to buy Physical Plates and Washing Them. 🍽️
That said though if you are someone who has this Rare Habit of Pouring Soup all over your Chicken Rice and eating it like a Porridge, 😅 you will obviously not be able to do it for this Paper Boat Plate. (Yes, I know of some people who eat Chicken Rice like this.) 😅
🍚 The Quality of the Rice.
The Amount of Rice given felt Reasonable for the Price. 👍 Feels slightly More than 1 Standard Bowl. In fact, I thought the Amount felt More Generous than the Rice given by a Typical SG Kopitiam Chicken Rice Stall. It actually feels like this Rice Amount is 吃得饱 type. 😋
There is a Delicious and Appetizing 油香气 Aroma. 😋 Bite Texture is 粒粒分明 where you can taste every grain of it, not those Mushy Mushy type. Eating this also has a Noticeable Chicken Flavour 油香 to it. 👍 Slightly Salty but Not Overly So, although I also felt it was Noticeably Oiler. I wouldn't call this an Absolute Elite Level of Chicken Rice, but it is certainly At Least Above Average compared to a Standard SG Kopitiam Level of Chicken Rice. 👍
🐔 The Quality of the Chicken Meat.
Once again, I was impressed with the Actual Amount of Meat given. 👍 Really felt more Generous and were even in Relatively Larger Cuts compared to some SG Chicken Rice stalls where they only give Pathetic Slivers due to Shrinkflation. 😅 Breast Meat is given by Default (You can choose to upgrade to Thigh/Drummy by paying Extra). 🍗 Even though Breast Meat, they were Moist and Juicy, not at all Dry. 😋 Tasted Very Clean and Not Overly Chickeney.
That said, this is not those Globules of Fats under a Super Soft Skin type of Chicken Quality but its still Very Decent. 👍 Again, I feel this is Above Average Quality compared to a Typical Singapore Kopitiam Level of Chicken Rice. 👍
The Rest of the Items in this Set Meal

Came in a Small Itty Bitty Cup, this was a Decent Brew. Not Gao Gao Strong Tea Leaves type, but also not Dilluted and Watered Down. Overall a Decent Kopitiam Level of Teh-O. 👍
🍲 Chicken Soup
Nothing particularly special about this. Its a Simple Cabbage Soup. 🥬 Not Overly Salty and I did detect a Slight Bit of MSG although not alot. Very Basic, Average Soup.
🥬 Oyster Sauce with Beansprout
I chose this for my set and I am ok with the Decent Amount of Veggies given. 👍 The Taugeh themselves were Warm and had a Crunchy Texture. 😋 The "Taugeh-ness" is not Overly Strong. I liked the Nice Soy Sauce Sesame Oil Zhup Mix they lum over this and I feel this actually taste rather Nice. Worth to Order. 👍
Eating Everything together completes the Experience. 👍 Abit of Tender Moist Chicken with some Flavourful Rice together with some Warm Crunchy Taugeh and all topped by that Unique Fruity Chilli Sauce makes this a Delicious and Filling Meal. 😋

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Total Combined Price of RM15.90 (S$4.90) for this Chicken Rice Set that includes a Veggie Side and even a Drink, this was a Very Reasonable Price and a Well Balanced Complete Meal. 👍 The Quality of the Chicken Rice isn't Elite Top Tier, eg: The Chicken isn't those Super Obese got Fat Globules Under the Skin type 😅 but for me, this was still considered a Very Decent and Above Average Level of Chicken Rice. 👍
I am already impressed that the Amount of Food given is Very Reasonable and even More Generous than even some Truly Sad and Pathetic Slivers of Meat that some SG Kopitiam Chicken Rice Stalls give. 😅 Rice and Chicken were Ample and Filling 吃得饱饱 type and I never felt that it wasn't enough.
The Little Things they did such as the Adorable Paper Boat Plate 🛶 that they even took the effort of using Tape instead of Stapler Pin to construct shows how well they planned this out, both in terms of Presentation, Functionality and Practical Cost Savings. 👍 Whoever came up with this Idea certainly knew what they were doing.
Its these Little Attention to Details and the Creative Innovation in using Orange Juice 🍊 for their Chilli that I really liked. ❤️ In fact, I enjoyed this Meal so much, I reached out to the Manager directly to compliment her. 👍 Actually, when I asked to "See the Manager", I could noticeably see the Absolute FEAR shown in her eyes. 😅 Perfectly Understandable because "Seeing the Manager" usually doesn't bode well. 😅 When I gave her my Definitive Thumbs Up, 👍 I could see her give the Largest, Most Audible Sigh of Relief. 😅 She practically MELTED with Happiness so much so that I almost felt she wanted to burst into Tears of Joy already. 😅
I could tell that it must have been a Very Hard Day / Week / Month / Year for her and she looked like she totally needed this Compliment. 🥲 I'm glad that at the very least I was able to make her Smile that day. 😊 Now I understand why this Simple Small Chicken Rice Stall in this Food Court is so Highly Raved. 👍 Creative and Delicious. 😄
