This Restaurant really exploded in Popularity 💥 and Hype ever since it was featured in a Mukbang Video by our very own Singapore 大胃王 Zermatt Neo. Mad Lad took down 7KG of Food as you can see in this Video! 😳
The Place itself is an Open-Air Eatery without Air-Conditioning. It can feel Warm and Humid 🥵 although there are Many Fans available to help make it more Airy. 🌬️ What you will notice though is a Very Appetizing Robust Aroma of their Braised Sauce in the Air.
Although there were only about 3 Tables of Customers when I was there at 8.30am on a Thursday, I noticed the Crowd get Larger the longer I was there. 🤔 Staffs were Friendly and Polite and the Boss is really as Friendly as he is shown in Zermatt's Video. 😄
How to Order your Food.
1) They don't have any Physical Menu available. (You can refer to the Photos I've taken) 📷
2) Go up to the Counter and order what you want. Pay after ordering and just go back to your Seat to wait. 🪑
The Staffs were rather Surprised and Amused when I didn't order any Carbs from them. 空口吃肉. 😅
It took 11 Mins for their Braised Duck and 12 Mins for their Pork Trotter. Everything was served up within 12 Mins.
The Chilli they have here has a Noticeable Garlic Base. 🧄 Texture is Liquidy. The Taste of it reminds me somewhat Very Close to a Chicken Rice type of Chilli with its Slight Sourish Note. 🤔
The Spiciness hits fast but also disappears fast and doesn't linger long. I'd consider this Level of Spiciness to be Mild. 🌶️ Although I won't call this Amazing or Mindblowing, this was still a Decent Tasting Chilli.
🍲 Quality of the Soup
I'm glad to see that a Bowl of Soup is included in the Price. 👍 Its the Braised Sauce 卤水 type of Soup, not Herbal. Not Overly Salty. Light Tasting but not Bland with a Delicate Sweetness to it. 😋 I liked the Fried Shallots that they added which gave a Nice 油香味 taste to it. 😋 Overall a Pretty Decent Braised Soup Base, and I feel this can probably also work well as a Soup for a Kway Teow Kia too.

I'm glad to see that they do have a Set for Solo Diners. 👍 This Set is not specified anywhere, so you do need to ask for it at the Front Counter when ordering. For the Price, you get about enough Meat for about roughly 1 Duck Breast. 🦆 The Amount of Meat here feels like its meant for 2 People. Nicely Presented, the Meats are Sliced Thinly. They do use Cucumber Slices at the Bottom to make the Dish look larger than it is. 😅
The Meat is Clean Tasting, Not Overly Gamey with a Tender Bite. 😋 What I particularly like is the Braised Sauce that they lum all over. 🍯 Its not Salty and has a Delicious Savory Meaty Tone. This Sauce is not Herbal but still has a Good Braised Taste. 😋 Very Decent Tasting, I would consider this Braised Duck to be above Standard SG Kopitiam Level.

Unlike their Braised Duck where you have a Choice of a Solo Set, there is only 1 Standard Size for this Pork Trotter. 🤔 My Eyes opened Big Big when it was served up. This was a Huge Platter! 😳 Fuyoh, the Whole Thing was like a Mountain of Meat and Fats all Piled up with No Cucumber Padding at the Bottom. 🍖 It really is Alot of Meat you're getting.
The Braised Sauce they lum for this seems to be different from the one used in their Braised Duck. Thick and Creamy with a Robust Meaty Porky Tone that is also Not Overly Porky. 👍
The Texture of the Meat is not 煮到烂烂 like Thai-Styled 泰国猪脚饭 Khao Kah Moo type of Jelly Jelly Melt in Mouth Quality, but it is still Very Soft and Tender to the Bite. 😋
Solid Meaty and Porky but Never Overly So, this was still Very Satisfying especially the Creamy Fatty Pieces that were Soft and Easy to Swallow. 😋 The Combination of this Robust Meaty Sauce and the fact that this was an Absolute Huge Chonk of Platter was what did it for me. 😋 The Amount of Meat here on this Platter is really too much for 1 Person but luckily I was hungry. 😅 吃的几爽一下.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM11.00 (S$3.50) for the Braised Duck, 🦆 I feel this is an Affordable Price for about 1 Duck Breast worth of Meat that can comfortably feed 2 People. 👍
Although it isn't Super Mindblowingly Amazing, I still find this to be Very Decent Tasting and Above Average compared to a Standard SG Kopitiam Level of Braised Duck. 😋 At this Price for this Amount of Meat, I feel it is worth to try.
At the Price of RM45.00 (S$14.00) for this Huge Platter Mountain of Meat was not Super Cheap, but it was still worth the Money because of how much Food you're getting here. 🍖😅
Make no Mistake, I feel that THIS is the True Signature for this Place. ❤️ I absolutely love that the Trotter was Pre-Shredded like this making it Very Easy to Eat and gave a Very Messy and Rustic Overall Presentation. 👍
The Meat and Fats weren't as Insane Soft as Thai-Styled Khao Kah Moo, but still had a Tender Soft Quality. 😋 Not Overly Porky, it was Super Sinful and Indulgent to be eating this Much Crazy Amounts of Fatty 猪脚 so early in the Morning! 😅 My Cholesterol probably went through the Roof as I ate this Solo, but it was worth it. 😅
That said though, unless you are a Big Eater, this Huge Mountain of Meat is really too much for 1 Person. 😅 I feel this is meant more for 2-3 People. But if you are up to the Challenge, hey don't let me stop you. 👍 I myself enjoyed this thoroughly Soloing it, although it did made me so Full, that I couldn't eat as much for the Rest of the Day! 😅
On that note, I was so happy to eat the Cucumbers that they gave for their Braised Duck actually. 😋 They were a Very Welcome Palette Cleanser to reduce the Level of Ultra Meaty Jelakness that I felt. If you're ordering these 2 Dishes, I would recommend to order an Extra Plate of Veggies to Counter the Insane Amount of Meat here. 🥬
The Prices feel Reasonable for the Amount of Food that you're getting, and this REALLY is a Very Meat Heavy Meal. 🍖❤️ I have no issues recommending this to anyone who is looking to indulge in some Meaty Sinfulness. 🍖 If you are craving for some Braised Meats 🦆 卤水鸭, 🐷 卤猪脚, this is a Great Place to visit.
What I'm also interested is the Neighbourhood where this Restaurant is located. 🤔 No idea what this place is called but there are Many Interesting Eateries here. 😄 I will be sure to mark this place for my Future Exploration and Visits! 😄
