This is a Fried Chicken Food Stall located at the Basement Food Court in Sutera Mall that seems to have opened recently and have many Rave Reviews on Google Maps with a Reviewer even describing it as "Good Food, Good Night, Good Life". 🤔 So of course I was very intrigued and wanted to give it a try. 

The Eatery is just a Really Regular Food Court stall thats is no different from any Western Food Stall in any other Food Court. Manned by Young Lad who was Polite and Friendly. 👍What I found Unusual however was that even at 2.15pm on a Off Lunch Hour, the Front Counter Display was Completely Empty 😳 which seems Unusual because you'd think a Western Food Stall would usually display all their Fried Items prominently for Customers to see. Not here. Not a Single Item at the Front Display Counter, every Tray was Empty. 🤔It took 3 Mins for the Dish to be served up.

The Chilli Sauce they have here tastes like those Typical Generic Sweet Chilli Sauce you'd normally get from a Typical Food Court Level of Western Food. 🌶️ More Sweet than Spicy. Ketchup is also the same, very Typical Food Court Western Food type of Ketchup. 🤔 Nothing Special about this either.

Because the Eatery itself is called "Best Fried Chicken", of course I ordered this to try. I was immediately unimpressed with how the Basic and Plain the Dish was presented. 🤔 For RM12.00, you get 2 Very Plain Looking Pieces of Fried Chicken on a Paper Plate and Nothing Else. 🤔 No Side Dish, No Salad, No Carbs, Nothing. This is as Basic Presentation as you can get. 😅 To be fair, you can add RM6.00 more to add a Packet of Fries and a Drink 🍟🥤

The Chicken Pieces given by Default were a Drummy and a Thigh. At least the Drummy is a Decent Size, unlike the Mini Pigeon Drummies that a Certain Popular Fried Chicken Franchise in Singapore sometimes give out nowadays. 😅 

The Aroma wafting out from this Smells Exactly like a Typical Food Court type of Western Food Fried Chicken. 🍗🤔 The Batter used for the Skin also tastes about the Same too. Simple and Salty. Meat of the Chicken is Moist although not Particularly Juicy, but it is Very Oily. 🤔 Something about the Taste of this Meat gives me the Impression that this is likely from some Typical Frozen Supermarket Pack, not Fresh Chicken. 🤔
Now I know I shouldn't expect too much given that this is a Typical Food Court Level of Fried Chicken, but I must say I'm not a Fan of this Type of Fried Chicken anymore. 😅 There's nothing inherently wrong with it and it'll probably have a Mass Appeal especially for Children, but this is not the Type of Fried Chicken I am keen to eat anymore. 🤔 In fact, I only took a few bites of this before discarding them as I feel they are a Waste of Calories.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At the Price of RM12.00 (S$3.70) for 2 Pieces of Fried Chicken with No Sides, No Drinks, I don't feel this is worth the Money even as a Singaporean. 🤔 This is a Very Generic Basic Food Court Western Food style of Fried Chicken, 🍗 which while certainly will have Mass Appeal particularly for Children, is not the Type of Fried Chicken that I'm keen on eating anymore. 😅

Now I understand that Food Prices are now rising badly, but the Lack of Sides at the Price of RM12.00 really hurt it in my opinion. 🤔 I wish they at least put in some Fries. Or if Cost is a Concern, even a Simple Slice of Toasted Bread or Lettuce to hold the Chickens would help tremendously in its Overall Presentation at least. 🤔

I must emphasize, there is nothing wrong with this Fried Chicken Outlet, the Staff was Polite and Friendly. 👍 I feel that its just not worth the Calories to specifically come to JB to eat it thats all. 🤔 Personally feel this is Not as Impressive as how Highly Raved it was in Google Map Reviews me thinks.
