Compared to Mr Long Dim Sum that I reviewed previously, this place feels much Older and is a Larger Kopitiam. Not Air-Conditioned but still felt Airy. 🌬️😌 What is especially notable about this place is that it has a Old Musty Odour which I feel may turn off some people. 🤔

No kidding, the Musty Odour actually smells Unpleasant. 🤢 No wonder there wasn't as much Customers here compared to Mr Long. Despite that though, I actually like such an Old School Place because such Places have an Old World Charm for me especially when eating Dim Sum. Although the Musty Smell can be Distracting. 🤢🤔

The Chilli given here tastes exactly the same as the Garlic Chilli that was used in Mr Long. 🌶️🤔

In fact their so similar I wonder if they used the same supplier for this?

鱼子烧卖 Siew Mai = RM6.00

Bouncy and Juicy and it's not Overly Porky or Prawny. 😋 This tastes very similar to the ones I had at Mr Long but I feel the Meat tastes stronger here. 🍖 This is also the First Siew Mai that I could taste Meat Vein 肉跟 (Meat Vein). First time taste Meat Vein in a Siew Mai.

水晶虾饺 Steamed Prawn Dumplings = RM6.50

The Har Kow Skin here not easy to break but also thankfully don't taste Doughy. I like the Orangey Hue and the Filling is Bouncy and Juicy. 😋 For this one, the Prawn Taste is slightly strong. 🦐 Still, Not Bad actually.


蜜汁叉烧包 Char Siew Bao = RM6.00

I think this is probably the Smallest Dim Sum Char Siew Bao I've had so far. 😅 I like the skin, and while it isn't the Super Fluffy type, it isn't the Dry until Stick to Throat type. The Filling is Sweet but Not Overly Sweet and tasted just nice. 😋 It's also very Thick and Gooey, just the type I like. I like this filling. The only issue I have is that this really is very Small Sized.

I love the Fact that they used Old School Bamboo Containers to serve this instead of the Modern Plastic Type that really adds on to its Old World Charm. 👍 The Serving Chap was quite Amusing tho. When serving the Dishes to me, he looks Visibly Unsure and Confused as to whether he served the right thing even tho I was the Only Customer at that time. 😅 I even had to point to the Menu to show what I ordered. 📜👈Probably a New Guy who is inexperienced and very new to the job. 😅

I actually like this place more than Mr Long even tho some foods Mr Long does a little better. 🤔  At least the Staffs here never rush to take my plates. This place feels more Old School and Relaxing to enjoy Dim Sum. 😌  That said, the Unpleasant Musty Smell may turn off some people. 🤢 I eventually got used to the smell tho by end of the meal.
