This is a Dim Sum Restaurant located within the TF Value-Mart Mall in Taman Nusa Bestari. It's quite a Big Spacious Place, Not Air-Conditioned and uses a Pencil Writing System to Order. While the Place is quite Airy, I noticed alot of Flies buzzing about. Not sure if it was because of an Earlier Rain.

Crab Roe Siew Mai = RM7.80

I'm afraid I'm have to Deduct Points for this. Because I spotted the Service Staff actually touching the Siew Mai when he was handling it over to me. Eek!! If you are the Squeamish type you might have already left this place in a hurry!

Assuming that you can still stay on, the Siew Mai looks Good, Smells Prawny and Meat is Fat, Juicy and 肉肉. Slightly above our Singapore S$1.50 点心 Standard, but also nothing really special. Definitely not worth to come to JB specifically for it.

Fried Carrot Cake = RM6.50

Now THIS I really like. Thank God the Service Staff never touched this one. This Carrot Cake got Standard, not the Cheapskate Carrot Cake that we're used to. The Cakes themselves are Beautifully Arranged and Presented.

Fried Skin is Beautifully Crispy and the Carrot Cake Meat itself is Sublime! Soft almost like Pudding and Almost Melt in Mouth Quality. This is an Excellent Dim Sum Standard Carrot Cake. Doesn't have a Overly Strong Carrot Cake Aftertaste. The Sambal given for this is also not bad. Strong and Chunky Hae Bee which pairs very well. I consider this Dish their 招牌菜 here. This is a Definite MUST TRY if you are here.


Egg Tart = RM5.80

I ordered this because some Reviews on Google Maps claim that this is very good. I was initially quite intrigued by its Bubbly Outer Skin, but after actually tasting it, I think its just Average. Its a very Small Egg Tart, Crust is Crumbly, and Sadly the Eggy Filing is the Firm Type.

This is at best only a Bakery Standard Egg Tart, not a Dim Sum Standard one. Sweetness is not bad, not too sweet. If taken as a Bakery Egg Tart is considered acceptable, but no, this has no place in a Dim Sum Restaurant. I even think they probably Sub-Contracted this from a 3rd Party Bakery as I don't think they made this inhouse themselves. And no, luckily the Service Staff never touched this one too.

I really enjoyed the Fried Carrot Cake and it really is Very Good, but the rest of the Dishes are just So So. And yea...having the Service Staff touch my Food when serving is a Big No No. This Restaurant really needs to provide more training to their Staffs. At least they're Friendly. Not a Must Visit for Dim Sum, but I can still recommend their Fried Carrot Cake if you have the chance.
