This is a Huge Restaurant located in Bukit Indah. 😋 I'm not kidding when I say Huge, this Restaurant is literally a Dedicated Whole Building all by itself! 😳 According to the Staffs here, it has been around for at least 13 Years already.
The Interior of the Place

The Entrance to the Place looks like some Posh Chinese Restaurant and when you step in, you will immediately know that this is not just some Small Place. 😳 It has a Very HK/Macau Classy Casino Type of Feel to it. 🇭🇰 This is the type of Grand Restaurant that People host their Weddings or even Company Dinner & Dance Events. 🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️ Dim Sums is of course not the only thing they have here, it is a Chinese Restaurant 酒楼 that has whatever you'd expect to order from such a Restaurant. 👍

Really Large Place. As you can see in the Video, 🎥 the Main Area has a Catwalk Isle with a High Ceiling and Studio Quality sort of Lights and LCD Monitors. 🤔 This is flanked 2 sides by Large Restaurant Banquet type of Tables.

This place opens at 10.00am on the dot too. No Lateness, No Dilly Dally, No Blur Blur. 👍 On the Dot 10.00am, Doors were open. Although it was only me and another Couple initially at 10.00am, as time goes by, there were More and More Customers streaming in. 👍 Not Crowded at all even on a Friday when I was there. Not sure how is the situation on a Weekend though.

Professional Restaurant 酒楼 Level of Service

The Front-Facing Service Staffs are Mostly Local Chinese and their Service Behaviour are Professional, Polite and Friendly. 🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️I even managed to capture a Photo of how the Staff looked with her Gently Guiding me to my Table. ♥️
Don't take my word for it. Just look at her Dignified Poise, Outstretched Welcoming Gesture. From this Photo, ♥️ you can see the Professional Standard that this place expects from their Staffs. ♥️ Zero Complaints about the Staffs from Me. This is Atas Restaurant 酒楼 Standard of Service. 👍

The 50% Discount on Weekdays is really the Main Reason why you would want to consider visiting this place. 👍 I can't remember the timing, I think its until 2.00pm? 🕑🤔 But yea, there is no Further Catch. As long as you're dining in on a Weekday, ALL Dim Sums have a 50% Discount. 💲👍 You can see how they breakdown the Discount in the Photo of the Receipt I've taken. 📷

💲 50% Discount on Weekdays (Monday - Friday) (Dine-In Only)
💲 25% Discount on Weekend & Public Holiday (Dine-In Only)

Hahaha! Another Good Reason why coming into JB on Weekdays are so much more Superior compared to Weekends! 😅 Lesser Crowds, Better Discount. Life in Singapore is already Damn Stressful always Queue Queue Queue. 😅 Why make your life even more Miserable by Queue Queue Queue during Weekends in JB again tio bo?

Because this is a Atas Restaurant, I did try to request if they could serve up ALL of my Dim Sums all at the Same Time. Unfortunately, they weren't able to do it. 🤔 Not going to mark it down of course, but it would have been a Nice Bonus if they were able to fulfill this. 😅 Hahaha just a Little Test I play with such Higher End Restaurants.

It took about 3 Mins for the Chee Cheong Fun to be served up first.
It took 4 Mins for both Har Kow and CSB to be served up next.
Finally, it took 8 Mins for Siew Mai to be served up.

Total, it took 8 Mins for Everything to be Up. Quite Impressive Timing.
ALL the Dim Sums here were served Very Hot. 🔥 Even the Plate that comes with them were Hot to the Touch. 🔥😳

The Standard Default Chilli they have on Every Table has a Very Strong Garlic Tone with even Bits of Garlic within. 🌶️🧄

The Spiciness is Noticeably Spicy and will Bite your Tongue gently and Linger for quite while. Excellent Chilli. 🌶️👍

A2 鱼籽烧卖皇 Pork Dumpling with Shrimp (Siew Mai) = RM14.80

Beautifully Made with a Prawny Aroma. 🦐 Yet when you bite it, there are No Physical Prawn Pieces you can see. This is an Even Higher Level of Siew Mai Filling because there is Extra Effort of actually Mincing the Prawn Meat and Mixing it Together with Minced Pork. 🦐🐷
Doing this way is tricky because you need to ensure that there is an Even Distribution of both. 👍 From the Taste, I'd say the Prawn Ratio is more than Pork. More Prawny 🦐 than Porky. 🐷 As Prawn is more Expensive than Pork, this shows their Generosity for the Filling and not attempting to use Pork more to Save Cost. 👍

Very Bouncy and Juicy. 😋 The Pork Taste is actually Very Subtle, and in fact So Subtle that you actually have to be purposely looking for it before you can taste it. 🐷😅 That's how much Stronger the Prawn Taste is. 🦐😋 And yet its also Not Too Overly Prawny too. This is a Good Quality Restaurant Standard of Siew Mai. 👍

A1 水晶鲜虾饺 Shrimp Dumpling (Har Kao) = RM16.80

Nicely Made with Decent Looking Folds if quite Standard Looking for a Har Kao. I love the Super Thin and Melt in Mouth Bite Texture of the Dough Skin 😋 but unfortunately it does break easily. 😅 The Filling within are 2 Big Fat Juicy and Bouncy Prawns 🦐 which are not Overly Prawny.

I appreciate that they did not re-use the Same Filling used by Siew Mai for their Har Kow.👍 A Lesser Standard Dim Sum Eatery would have totally re-used the Filling like this to save cost. 😅 This place does not do that. This is a Good Har Kow and I would have scored it higher had the Dough Skin not Break. 🤔

A4 笑口蜜汁叉烧包 BBQ Pork Bun (Char Siew Bao) = RM12.80

I love the Name they give for this CSB 笑口蜜汁 "Smiling Face Honey". 😄🍯 Such an Adorable Way to describe the Distinct "Open-Mouth" Look for a CSB like this. Its a Nice Standard Size. Dough is Soft, Fluffy and Pillowy and Amount of Char Siew Filling is Generous. 🐷😋 Its also the Sweet Type of Filling that I prefer that is also not Overly Sweet. 👍

This Filling is not only just Char Siew, but also have a Noticeable Taste of Scallion 🥬 within which gives it a Slightly More Complex Taste, not just a Simple Meat Mix. 🍖🤔 Some people might not like this Additional Taste of Scallion though and prefer a More Meaty Taste. 🍖 Personally I'm ok with this as its gives a More Atas Taste overall. This is a Good Tasting Dim Sum Quality CSB. 👍

C3 明火叉烧肠粉 BBQ Pork Rice Roll (Chee Cheong Fun) = RM10.80

This CCF is HK-Styled and doesn't disappoint. 😋 Soft and Smooth and easily slide down my Throat. The Char Siew Pieces have a Nice Meaty Good Quality Taste. 🍖😋 The Sauce that they lum over this CCF although cannot be customized to how much you want, has a Nice High Quality Saltish Taste to it. 🍯👍
The Condiment that comes with this is Haebee Based and the Haebee taste is Strong. 🦐👍 It has a Nice Slightly Spicy and Savour Taste and pairs very well with the CCF itself, giving it an Extra Hit of Savouriness. 😋

That said, while there are Pieces of Char Siew within, I opened them up and felt that there aren't alot of them distributed. 🐷🤔 So while the parts that have them have a Nice Meaty Char Siew Taste, you will also taste some parts which are devoid of any Char Siew. 🤔 Personally I feel the Amount of Char Siew could be abit more Generous, but Overall, this is still a Decent Quality HK-Styled CCF.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts

At a Total Combined Price of RM37.55 (S$10.80) for EVERYTHING after the 50% Discount, this is Absolutely Worth the Money to try because all of them are made at a High Quality Restaurant 酒楼 Standard. 👍

If I have any issues with my Dining Experience, its that:

1) I felt they should have used more Traditional Bamboo Dim Sum Containers instead of the Cheap Looking Plastic Dim Sum Containers they currently use that are used by Every Other Dim Sum Eateries in JB. 😅 Or even better, use Porcelain or Dedicated Glasses Dishes to serve up their Dim Sum which will fit better with their 酒楼 Status. 🍽️

2) They weren't able to serve up ALL the Dim Sum Dishes all at once.

3) They will clean up your Dishes although they are polite about when doing this.

But all the above issues I mentioned are actually Very Very Nitpicky and not Major Issues tbh. 👍
Even if there were No Discount at their Original Full Price of RM65.17 (S$19.00), I still think this is worth the money because the High Quality Service Standard of the Staffs 🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️ and my Overall Satisfaction Experience are already worth the Price of Entry. 👍 Paying Sub-S$20.00 for this Type of Atas Quality is Worth it in my Books.

Heck, if I am Married, this is EXACTLY the type of Atas Restaurant 酒楼 that I would bring my Mother-In-Law in my Pathetic Attempt to try and impress her. 😅 As the Age Old Saying Goes:

"Happy Wife, Happy Life.
Happy Mother-In-Law, she won't find Flaw."
Hahaha! 😆 Ok so I made that last part up, but you get what I mean. 😅

This Place is also within Walking Distance to the Huge Aeon Mall Bukit Indah, so after a Meal here, you can easily go there Jalan Jalan for your Regular JB Shopping 乱乱买 Retail Therapy Session! 🛍️
Excellent Quality, Excellent Service and if you are able to get the 50% Weekday Discount, Excellent Value! 👍This Place EASILY gets my Highest Recommendation! 🏆 2 Thumbs Up!
