This is a Relatively New Modern Kopitiam here in Tanjung Puteri that only opened a Couple of Months ago. 🤔 You can reach this place easily via the 650M Long Walkway from CIQ to go to R&F Mall. 🚶Its an Easy Walk from CIQ. Its quite a Large Eatery with a Very Predominantly Green Decor. 🟩 Tastefully done up like a Standard Modern Faux Kopitiam that you see in JB. Even though it is Air-Conditioned, it still felt quite warm. 🤔 I like the Constant Playing Modern Chinese Chill Chill type of Pop Tunes in the Background. 🎵🎶

There were not much Customers on a Saturday Evening at 7.15pm when I was there. Staffs looks like mostly Myanmmar Folks. They're Friendly and mostly keep to themselves. 👍 Ordering of Food is via QR Code Menu and they have Free WIFI if you don't have Internet Access. 🌐 Kopi-O was the 1st to be served up after 2 Mins. Lei Cha took about 5 Mins. Everything was served up promptly within 5 Mins.
☕ B04 咖啡乌 Kopi-O (Kosong, Hot) = RM3.20
I like the Traditional Looking Kopitiam Type of Cup they this in. Kopi-O has a Nice Roasted Coffee Smell and is Quite Strong. ☕👍 The Type that can really Wake You Up in the Morning. 🌞 Also has a Noticeable Kopi Bitterness. All in all, Pretty Decent Cup of Kopi-O. 👍
S03 禧座擂茶 (加南乳炸肉) Signature Lei Cha = RM15.90
The Dry Component of Lei Cha is actually a Bunch of Veggies 🥬 and Tofu ⬜ together with some Rice. 🍚 But the Signature Version I got here as the name "加南乳炸肉" implies added Fried Meat Pieces 🍖 which is not a Component usually seen in Regular Lei Cha. 🌱🤔

For the Veggies, I feel they're pretty standard ingredients for a Lei Cha. 🥬🤔 There are some Green Leafy Veggies, no idea what Veg this is, probably Chye Sim, Cabbage, Tofu, Seaweed, Peanuts and Chai Poh. 🥬 All of them taste standard, and when all are mixed together, they do taste nice if very Standard for a Lei Cha.

The Main Highlight of this however is the Fried Chicken Pieces. 🐔 I feel that THIS is the Soul of this Dish. Its Very Well Fried with a Deep Crispy Savoury Salted Taste and a Juicy Bite. 🐔😋 Abit like Japanese Kaarage. They're not alot of pieces, but just enough. Adding these Fried Chicken Pieces gives it a Very Nice Meaty Savoury Taste. 😋

Usually I find Lei Cha to be a Very Beany, 🫘 Very Veggie Dish. 🥬 But the Inclusion of the Fried Chicken Pieces elevated this to a Much Higher Savoury Level that I enjoyed eating. 🐔😋 No Joke, I actually think this tasted good.
As for the Lei Cha Green Soup, I'll be honest I'm not a Fan because I find it Very Herbaceous 🌱😛 and the version here does not change my mind. 😅 I did try put 1-2 Spoonfuls of the Soup into the Rice. 🥄 Personally I didn't like how the Soup overtook the Flavour too much. 🤔 For this one, I prefer to eat the Main Dish without the Soup.

Another reason is there are Fried Chicken Pieces within, which I thought would become too Nua Nua if I were to flood the Bowl with Soup. 🐔🤔 In the End, even though I really don't like the taste of the Green Soup, I still drank it dry because I know that this is Healthy for me. 🟩😅 When you're 47 years old, its not an age to be picky with Food anymore, especially with something as Healthy as Lei Cha. 😅 Whether I like it or not, I just drink it because I know its good for me. Hahaha! 😅

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At RM15.90 (S$4.60) for this Signature Lei Cha, 🌱 I feel this is worth the money because I really do enjoy eating the Dry Component part of this Dish. 😋 They do sell a Normal Version at RM11.90 (S$3.50) which I reckon will not include the Fried Chicken Pieces. 🐔🤔Personally I feel it is worth to shell out abit more to add that Fried Chicken Pieces because they really are a Game Changer and gives the Dish a Very Savoury Delicious Taste. 🐔😋 I very much prefer this version compared to the Regular Veggie Veggie type of Lei Cha. 👍

As for the Green Lei Cha Soup, I don't drink it regularly. I'll be honest, I am not a good judge whether this is a Good Lei Cha Soup or not. 🌱😅 I'm just happy that I am able to drink it down despite how much I didn't like it. 😅 I can only say this Soup tastes Super Super Herbly and Strong and is most likely Very Good for your Health hahaha! 🌱😅
I like the Quiet Chill Environment of this Eatery and I think this is probably the Nearest Place you can Eat Lei Cha in JB 🌱 that is nearest to the CIQ without even needing to take Grab. 🚗 If you are a Fan of Lei Cha, I reckon this is probably a place I can recommend to come here visit. I'm no Lei Cha expert though so I'm not sure if Lei Cha Experts will enjoy this version or not. Do let us know what you think! 😄
