About this Johor Jaya Evening Food Street 柔佛再也夜市美食街

This is one of the Main Highlight when people come to Johor Jaya. 😋 Its a Stretch of Road situated right next to the Hoong Kong Boy Kopitiam that opens Every Evening. 🌃 When its in operation, the Road is completely closed off to Traffic and its an Open-Air Dining Concept as you can see in my Photos/Videos. 📷🎥

This is Primarily Focused on Food only. There are no Shopping or Retail Booths available. 🛍️
The place is also relatively Well Kept and Maintained. I hardly see any Littering. 👍

How to Order your Food:

- Go to the Food Stall you want, order what you want and Pay for your Food.

- They will ask you where you sit. There are no actual Table Numbers so just Agar Agar tell them which direction you are seated at.

- They will then give you a Metal Tag for you to put on your Table.


- Once you put your Metal Tag on your Table, feel free to go to other Food Stalls to order more Foods. All of them also use this Metal Tag System.

- Once you've done ordering, just simply wait for your Food to be delivered to you.

I LOVE this Ordering System and its Very Easy and Convenient especially for a Solo Diner. ❤️ The Metal Tags are used as an Official "Chope" system so you don't have to worry about your Table taken by someone else while you look for more Foods to Order. 👍 No one will disturb your Metal Tag as long as you have it on your Table. Perfect! ❤️

Type of Food Stalls Available:

This Food Street is Focused on Malaysian Chinese Foods Only. 🇲🇾 I did not see any Malay or Indian Food Stalls. 🤔 No Exotic Food Stalls available. The Most Exotic Food Stall I remembered was a "Duck Egg Char Kway Teow" stall. 🦆

As you can see in the Photos, Prices for the Food Items mostly range from RM8.00 onwards, with some Stalls selling Items that are RM2.00 or Below, depending on the item. 👍

I've tried my best to take photos of Every Stalls available when I was there. 📷 This may be the Most Comprehensive Up-To-Date Photo Collection of ALL the Food Stalls in this Hawker Centre available online so far. 👍

Tips and Tricks and Special Notes:

1) Best Timing to come here I feel is between 5.30pm to 6.30pm 🕔 where ALL the Food Stalls are open, and there are still Plenty of Tables and Seats available. 🪑

2) There are No Restrooms, but you can just go to the Nearby Hong Kong Boy Kopitiam or other Nearby Kopitiams if you need to use the Restroom. 🚻

3) I don't recall any Stalls selling Alcohol, 🍾 but there will be People walking around asking if you want to buy any Drinks. I reckon they will also sell Alcohol. 🤔 I didn't try this because I didn't buy any drinks. But I reckon even if they don't sell Alcohol, you can again go to any of the Nearby Kopitiams and buy your Alcohol from there. 👍

4) Because this is an Open-Air Food Street, I have no idea how it will operate if it starts Raining, 🌧️ or if it will even be available if it Rains so you do need to be prepared for this. 🌧️🤔

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts:

It's quite an experience to be able to dine in an Open-Air Environment like this with Multiple Stalls available. 😄 Just the Atmosphere, the Sights and the Sounds really contribute to an Exciting Dining Experience. 🎉 Prices here are actually pretty much Regular Food Prices in JB with no particular Mark-Ups so it is Affordable. 👍

If you have never tried Dining like this before, do give it a try. 😄 I don't think we can enjoy this in Singapore unless its an Organized Special Event, obviously any Food Street or Event in Singapore are sure to be Expensive compared to this place. 😅 So if you are around the Johor Jaya area during the Evenings, come swing by and enjoy yourselves! 😄
