Ever since I saw this Relatively New Eatery in the Jalan Wong Ah Fook area, I have always wanted to go visit just simply because of the name "好比鸭王" which translates to "As Good As Ya Wang". 😅 "Ya Wang" of course refers to a Very Famous Roasted Duck Eatery in JB. 🦆 I have given a review for Ya Wang myself previously, and let's just say its not exactly a Glowing Review. 😅 So, to call itself "As Good as Ya Wang" was especially Amusing to me personally. 😅
Its a relatively Large Eatery and looks Well Kept and Clean. 👍 The Roasted Meats on Display do look very good, 😋 and the Staff Customer Service which while not exceptional, is Acceptable which is actually ALOT better than Ya Wang's Absolutely ATROCIOUS Service. 👎 So hey, it has that going for this Eatery at least. 😅

Amusingly, I also noticed their Restroom has this particular Signage informing that Non-Customers will need to pay RM1.00 if they need to use. 🤔 I get that maybe they have too many people who does this, but ... I dunno lah, abit too 斤斤计较了吧? Need to count until like that meh? 🤔
The Chilli they have here is the type used for Chicken Rice. 🌶️
Abit Sweet, Abit Sourish with a Slightly Spicy Bite,
although I wouldn't say it is Super Spicy Type. 🌶️
Not Bad Chilli to pair with Roasted Meats.

When this was first served, I thought the Presentation looked Pretty Dull. 🤔 Meat Portions also look Stingy for the price and all of them were cut either in Small Pieces or Thin Little Slivers. 🤔
Roast Duck sauce is Sweetish and the Dang Gui Herb Taste is there, but it is Very Mild compared to Ya Wang. 🤔 Meat and Skin are Soft and Unremarkable, and has a Very Standard Kopitiam Roasted Duck sort of taste. 🤔 To me, this loses to Ya Wang, but then I also don't think Ya Wang is particularly that good so theres that. 😅

Sio Bak Skin is Hard and Crunchy and has a Sharp Salty Bite. 🐷 Rest of the Meat was So So, doesn't taste Overly Porky. 🤔 Other than the Crunchy Skin which I liked, there is nothing special about this.

Char Siew was the one that sort of looked nice, but has No Roasted Taste. 🤔 Sauce is not too sweet and although it is Fatty, the Meats and Fats are Firm to the Bite, 🤔 nothing even resembling close to "Melt in Mouth Quality". Acceptable, but Average at Best.

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
Everything for RM26.50 (S$7.50) for this Miserable Sad Looking Platter of Roasted Meats I feel is Not Worth the Money to try. 🤔 This is at best only our Singapore Kopitiam Level of Roasted Meats. 🤔 Actually I think some of our SG Kopitiam Roasted Meats may even be better than this. 😅

The Only Thing that prevented me from giving my Lowest Score is that the Customer Service of the Staffs are Basic Acceptable. 🤙 At the very least they felt somewhat Friendly in a "I'm being Friendly because I have to be Friendly" sort of way. 😅 This to me, is at least alot better than Ya Wang ever was.
This Restaurant also markets itself as (第六间分行) which translates to "Sixth Branch". 🤔 But from what I can search from Google Maps, I could only find 2 Eateries with this name. Are there really 6 Branches? Would an Eatery that markets itself as a Parody of another Eatery have 6 Branches? 🤔

Personally, I really never expect for an Eatery that markets itself as a Parody of another Eatery to be any good. 😅 I dunno lah, I mean why reduce yourself like this to ride on the fame of someone else? 🤔 Bit of a Downer Review I'm afraid, I don't feel it is worth to visit this one. 🤔 Feel free to give this a try if you want.
