Visited this place because I thought their Shop Logo looks Cute and Adorable. Read somewhere that this is apparently one of the Oldest and a Well Known Noodle Shop in Malaysia with a History of over 20 years. They have a few Franchise Shops and the one at Sutera is quite Big, Air-Conditioned and feels Breezy. It also seems to be quite Popular as there were several Customers within even on a Friday Afternoon. Staffs are Acceptably Polite.

I was even able to see the Staffs shave and process a Whole Bush of Mani Leaves while I ate. Interestingly, Raw Mani Leaf has a Tea Like Aroma. Processing of Food within the Eatery right next to Customers is usually not done in Singapore due to Hygiene Concerns so I thought this was interesting to see. I also noticed they are Very Vegetarian-Friendly too as the Menu has a Whole Dedicated Section just for Vegetarians.

The Sambal Chilli has a Strong Sourish Kick and the taste of Lime and Calimansi is Very Strong. The Chilli itself has a quite a Kick and the Spiciness will linger on your Tongue. This is a Nice Sambal. They also sell this in a bottle for RM15.90 (S$4.60) which I feel is Not Cheap but I feel this is still a Nice Sambal.

Mee Hun Kueh Soup (Small) = RM8.90

The Mee Hoon Kueh took about 6mins to be served up. The Broth is Clear and Light and has a 清甜 taste that is further accentuated with the presence of Slightly Saltish Ikan bilis.
The Mee Hoon Kueh is Definitely Handmade and Taste Nice. It is properly cooked through and because its Very Even in Thickness, don't have any Doughy Centre. Its not the Super Soft type as I felt that it still has abit of Chew. But compared to Normal Kopitiam type of Mee Hoon Kueh, this tastes at a much Higher Level.

Even for a Small Bowl that I ordered, I feel that the Amount of Ingredients are Generous. Minced Pork is Big Cut and they taste Juicy and not Overly Porky. Also comes with 2 Small Fishballs and Meatballs. Fishballs feels Homemade and are Bouncy but not Overly Bouncy and I feel it has a Slightly Stronger initial hit of Fish Taste.

Meatball is a Pork Ball and I think this is also Handmade not Store Bought. Also Soft and Bouncy, not Overly Porky with a noticeable Saltier Taste. Both Fishballs and Meatballs are Well Made and taste Elegant.
One thing I notice is that they are especially Generous with Mani Leaf. This Vegetable is Pretty Tasteless but when eaten, gives the Dish a Nice Subtle Soft Veggie Crunch.

Overall I would say this is not a bad bowl of Mee Hoon kueh. Mild and smooth. Nothing in the dish clashes. That said, I feel you need to use the Sambal sparingly as it can quickly Overtake the Smooth Taste of Everything. Also no need to put any Soy Sauce as I feel its already Salted nicely.
At RM8.90 (S$2.60), this is Worth to eat even for a Small Bowl. The Whole Dish feels Very Gentle on the Tummy and would be Especially Amazing if eaten on a Cold Rainy Day. I can definitely recommend this for anyone to try.
