This place has low reviews on Google Maps but personally as a Singaporean I feel that if you keep your expectations in check, it is actually very decent and affordable. While I understand the prices may seem steep for a Malaysian, this is actually very affordable for a Singaporean. Convert to SGD, the price is actually only around S$13.50 without any Service Charge. Also 1 bottle of Soju here is about S$6.00 compared to our S$19.00++ There is absolutely no way you can find such prices in Singapore.

Having said that, this is not some highly furnished atas restaurant but is a more humble small Faux K-BBQ place. You need to climb a flight of stairs as its on the 2nd floor. Restroom is available in the premise. The place looks Well-Kept and Cleanly Maintained when I was there. The Lady Owner is really Friendly and the whole place gives off a very Student/Family Friendly Gathering Chill Vibe. The staffs are also friendly and quick to top-up soup or meats, although they aren't good in English. They can understand Mandarin though.

There are 2 Soup Bases available: Kimchi and Chicken Soup. I chose Chicken Soup and it is a very Simple and Basic Chicken MSG Powder added to Plain Water type of Soup. Don't expect a high quality Soup here.

The items for selections are the usual Beef / Chicken / Pork Bulgogi with some Seafoods (No Prawns Available although there is Sotong). There are also some Custom Fried Items available too. Overall not a huge variety of selection. While I can't be sure if everything is absolutely tip-top fresh, I feel the quality is decent enough.

There is also a Drinks Station included in the price and it is only Plain Water, Lime and Orange Cordials. Interestingly there is also a Ice-Cream Station although customers can only take 1 Ice-Cream which I thought was a tad stingy. The Milk Tea Ice-Cream stick that I took taste not bad though.

The Soju that I ordered wasn't cold, although they will give you a bucket of ice to stick it in, so you will only enjoy it probably at the end of the meal when its colder. Still, its unbeatable to drink Soju at only S$6.00 here. Carlsberg is the other Alcohol Alternative available if you don't want Soju.

Time Limit for Dining is 120 minutes which I feel is more than enough. While the place is Air-Conditioned, it still feels abit stuffy. Food Wastage is calculated at RM20.00 for every 100g. Personally, I enjoyed myself here and its perfect for anyone with a family friendly vibe. I was there alone on a Thursday and I wasn't totally alone too, there were a few patrons around.
At no point during the meal did I ever felt that the shop was trying to "chase customers away" I'm not kidding, i've been to some lesser K-BBQ places in Singapore where the shop does little tricks or guilt-trip you to try to chase you away so that you won't eat more and eat into their profit. If you have eaten enough K-BBQs you will know what I mean. Thankfully this shop does not do that.

Keep your expectations in check and you will not be disappointed. If you are a Solo Traveller who want to try some Affordable Faux K-BBQ, I can totally recommend this place to try. Take a look at my photos to get a feel of this place.

Is this the most affordable Faux K-BBQ place in JB? Honestly I don't know, but I did enjoy my time here. If it can maintain its current pricing, I can recommend fellow Singaporeans to come visit to enjoy a simple and affordable Faux K-BBQ experience.
