This is a Modern Kopitiam Franchise in the Mall with a More Malay-Styled Feel éĐŽæĨéĢåģ to it. Apparently, the Name of the Eatery "Rengit" refers to a Town of the same name in Batu Pahat. ðēðū Relatively Large Place and Cleanly Maintained with Friendly and Polite Staffs. ð The Music Selections they play in the Background were some English Punk Rock? and Malay Slow Rock. ðĩðķ Now the Malay Slow Rock Songs were ok, but I felt some of the English Punk Rock Music Selections were a Tad Loud. ðĪ

There weren't much Customers around on a Friday Morning at 10.30am. ð Ordering of Food is thru a QR Code System. This Set that I ordered consists of both their Signature Coffee ☕ and a Special Toast. ð It took about 6 Mins for the Coffee, and 7 Mins for the Toast. Everything was served up within 7 Mins.

☕ Set A Elephant Coffee = RM5.00
This is the Signature æį of this Place. Just like the Name of this Eatery, the Coffee Bean is sourced from a Local Farm in Rengit, Batu Pahat. ðēðū No idea why the Reference to an Elephant ð but I thought it was an Adorable Name. ð
Served in a Decent Sized Cup, it came with a Frothy Top. ☕ There is a Decent Robust Brewed Kopi Aroma. ð I forgot to indicate No Sugar when ordering but I'm glad that its served by Default with Zero Sugar. ð

The Kopi itself has a Robust Creamy Rich Flavour with a Noticeably Pronounced Coffee Bitterness although it wasn't Unpleasant. ðĪ Overall a Smooth Drink with No Siap Siap-ness. ð It is a Strong Coffee that will wake you up but not so Strong that it will Slap you Awake type. I'm no Coffee Connoisseur, but even I feel this Coffee Bean has got some Standard, and its not just a Simple Brew. ☕ð
ð TS03 Spicy Ikan Bilis = RM5.90
I had originally expected this to be a Typical Sambal Telur Toast that Most Modern Kopitiam Franchise serves and it is that, but its how its presented that really impressed me. ð As you can see, its a Thick Generous Layer of Sambal ðķ️ resting on a Fat Thick Toast ð and Topped with a Sunny Side Egg. ðģ
Oh this Sambal is Sedap! ð Thick and Rich with a Good Mix of Ikan Bilis and Haebee. ð I especially like that Neither of them tried to Overwhelm or Dominate each other but instead worked together to form a Rich Complex Taste. ð This Sambal has also being Pulverized to be Soft and Smooth in Texture without Much Grittiness. Its a Tad on the Sweeter Side but not Overly Sweet with a Mild Spiciness that doesn't bite hard. ðķ️

The Toast itself is Thick and Soft with a Fluffy Texture. ð It tasted Fresh, not Overnight Stale. Because of its Brownish Colour, I think but I cannot confirm that this may be Baked In-House by themselves. ðĪ If not then at least its not a Typical Cheap White Coloured Loaf. Nothing special about the Egg, its just a Regular Fried Sunny Side Up although I'm happy that it still has a Gooey Yolk Center. ðģð

When eating everything together, the Toast itself forms the Main Body Soft Texture ð with the Sambal contributing to the Rich Sambalness ðķ️ and finally the Egg providing a Shot of Egginess. ðģ All 3 Ingredients worked together harmoniously with neither trying to overtake and outdo each other. ð I especially love it when the Egg Yolk burst all over your Mouth. ðThat said though, I would recommend to eat this as soon as you can because eventually the Sambal will Soak thru the Toast and make it Soggy Nua Nua. ð

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM5.00 (S$1.60) isn't particularly Cheap but I still felt it was a Reasonable Price for this Coffee. ☕ I'm no Coffee Connoisseur but even I feel that this is a Rather Unique Brew. ð This doesn't taste like a Typical Cheap Quality type of Kopitiam Kopi. The Coffee Beans in this does have some Standard at least in my opinion. ðŦ At this Price, I feel it is worth to try.
For the Price of RM5.90 (S$1.90) I feel is worth it for this Unique Variation of Sambal Telur Toast. ð I not only love how its presented, but each of the 3 components (Sambal, Toast and Egg) worked harmoniously together to provide a Delicious Variation of a Sambal Telur. This is worth to try. ð

I'll be honest, I did not have any high expectations when I first visited this, but I must say I am impressed with the Overall Decent Quality. ð This Elephant Coffee isn't just a Gimmick and actually does taste Very Decent, at least for a Non-Coffee Connoisseur like me. ð I can recommend to come give this place a try and chill and relax with a Nice Cup of this Coffee. ☕ This was a Decent Modern Kopitiam Franchise. ð
