This is a Famous 网红 Eatery that is heavily featured in many Food Blogs and Food Reviews. 🤔 It's actually a Small Stall within Restoran Kee Kim Huat Kopitiam and is a Claypot Shop run by what looks like a Pair of Young Couple. 👫 The Guy is a Silent Chap who has a Very Intense Serious Look doing the Cooking 👨🍳 while the Lady is Very Friendly and Genki and mans the Front Counter to take Orders. 💁

There are actually other Stalls in this Kopitiam, but this Claypot Chicken Rice completely DOMINATES the Place here. 😳 Almost Every Customer in this Kopitiam is here only for this. 🍲 Oh and there is a Very Adorable Cute Meow who's such a Sleepy Head roaming this place! 🐱😅 Because this Place is Popular, alot of their Dishes are sold out fast. 😳 I noticed that other than Claypot Rice, alot of Tables here also ordered their 炖汤 (RM6.00) 🍲 which looked like Lotus Root Soup. Unfortunately that was already Sold Out when I was there at 1.46pm. 🤔

While there were No Long Queues, I was informed that there will be a 30mins Wait! 😳 Normally, I would have just given up and moved on, but just nice it was Raining Heavily so I figured I might as well shunbian just wait out the Rain too. 🌧️😅 This is one of the Rare times I will actually wait so long tbh.
The Reason for this Long 30 mins Wait is not because there is a Long Queue, but because each Order is cooked from Scratch using Raw Rice. 🍚🤔 It also takes time to heat up the Charcoals that they use to Cook their Claypots which is abit more Traditional. 🔥🍲 And that is probably the reason why they are Popular.
Personally, I am impressed with the Customer Service Attitude of the Lady manning the Front Counter. 💁 She was Very Genki and always has a Happy Smile on her Face. 😄 Every Customer that approached her is always Greeted with a Genuine Smile and she takes the time to patiently explain each Dish they offer. 👍 Anyway, once you've ordered, they will give you a Plastic Tag 🏷️ to put on your Table and all you need to do is to just Wait Patiently.
🐔🍲 Claypot Chicken Rice (1 Person Ala Carte) = RM9.00
I first ordered this at 1.50pm, and the Dish finally arrived at about 2.20pm, so it did take about 30mins in Total. 🕒🤔 It was a Decent Sized Claypot for 1 Person and was Smoking Hot when it arrived with an Ever Present Smell of Charcoal. 🔥🍲 The Contents of the Claypot comes with 5 Bite-Sized Pieces of Chicken Thigh 🐔 and Breast Meats, Some Slices of Lup Cheong, 🐷 Rice with Sauce Pre-Mix, 🍚🍯 a Small Saucer of Salted Fish 🐟 and a Ladle with some Spring Onions. 🧅 There are no Mushrooms or Veggies within.

Amount of Rice was Acceptable for the Price. 🍚 Unlike other Claypot Eateries, when first served, this does not have a layer of Rice Crust already formed on the Sides. 🤔 Just like how you'd treat a Normal Claypot Rice, you'll just Mix and Blend Everything Together. 🍲

The Rice itself is Very Soft and Fluffy 🍚 and with the Pre-Mix Sauces mixed in, 🍯 provides a Deep Caramelly Sweetness with a Tinge of Saltiness that is Not Too Salty and the Whole Dish is Very Fragrant. 😋 If you were able to get some Crust, you will occasionally get Alternate Bites of Crispy Crunchiness in addition to the Rest of the Soft Fluffy Rice. If you don't want to bother with the Crust, it also tastes Nice without it. 🍚😋

The Amount of Meats like Lup Cheong 🐷 and Chicken Pieces 🐔 were just about right. They're Tender, Not Dry and they contribute to add abit of Meatiness to the Dish. Because there is Salted Fish too, 🐟 you will sometimes bite into them giving the Dish another hit of Salt making it even more enjoyable to eat. 😋

Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At a Total Combined Price of RM9.00 (S$2.60) this is Absolutely Worth the Money to come give it a Try. 👍 The Expected Wait of 30 Minutes however is something you need to factor in if you are someone who does not like to queue. 🕒🤔 If it were not because it was Raining Heavily, 🌧️ I may not have bothered. 🤔

While the Claypot Rice was Certainly Delicious, I'm much more impressed with the Excellent Customer Service of the Lady manning the Counter. 💁👍 Her Overall Happy-Feeling Attitude and Genkiness was also partly why I didn't mind the wait. 👍 The way she patiently explained and treated each Customer very nicely is something that many Eateries can really learn from. ♥️
That said, the Mandatory 30 Minutes Wait for me is just Simply Too Long. 🕒🤔 No Food, no matter how good it is, is NEVER worth a 30 Minutes wait. 🤔 Despite the Long Wait, I admit I did really enjoy my time here and it was still an Overall Nice Dining Experience that I can still recommended to try. 👍
